We were greeted promptly, the food was fresh and delish and the prices were great. $12.99 fish and chip Friday was a great deal (Haddock) with fries AND slaw. My food was mistakenly served to another table, and when they pointed out they had received the wrong burger, the server picked it up from that table and attempted to serve it to me. Fast service, good food, clean bathrooms! No complaints. I got the chicken fajita bowl, my friend got the chicken wrap, and their grandparents got wings and a salad. I thought my bowl was great, but the avocado they gave me was brown. The grandparents in attendance come here all the time and love their wings, so they were happy with their order. First, it's not about the $. It's about the misinformation and bad attitude. At happy hour, we ordered a half pound of the peel srimp for $9.99. They were big and great. We asked Zach, the barkeep about them, and he said they were excellent. He was correct!. Then we asked him about happy hour beer prices. He said dollar off domestic drafts, making them $3.75. What about the Twisted Tea? I asked. No, that's not on happy hour pricing. OK, give us a Miller Lite and a Sam Adam's (Yuengling was also available). Eventually, we ordered another Lite and another Adams. We enjoyed ourselves until the bill arrived. We were charged the menu price for the shrimp ($9.99), but for only one Lite beer ($3.75). And charged $15 for two Sam Adams. I'm confused, I told Zach. You only charged us for one Lite but $15 for the two SAs. Well, he said, Sam Adams is a craft beer, normally $8.50, and happy hour pricing is a dollar off. Then he said, "I only charged for one Lite to help you out." Isn't SA a domestic?, I asked. That's a craft he replied. Now there is a dispute in the beer industry as to whether SA is still a craft beer due to its sales volume, but I've never seen it classified as a craft at other bars from Boston to Florida. BTW, Yuengling is sometimes also classified as a craft even, though it's often one of the cheapest domestic beers to buy at an East Coast liquor store.) We order ed the grilled avocado with chips, firecracker shrimp, mahi tacos, and the brussels sprouts with the bacon on the side. Such a disappointing experience today with our to go order. Called in a simple order of wings and French fries and was told it would be 15 minutes. My husband goes to snag them, but when he arrives there are all kinds of issues. Not only was the food not ready but they hadn't keyed in the sauces we wanted. It took nearly 15 minutes from the time he arrived to the kitchen being told about the sauces, and another 5-10 before he was given the order. He was at the restaurant for nearly 40 minutes waiting on this order. And no time did the staff apologize for the wait or even acknowledge the issues. Ok, so things happen. Restaurants get busy. But then he gets home and we open the order and it's really not good. The parm and garlic fries are soggy and cold, with no seasoning and just bits of Parmesan sprinkled on them. They also came with this really disgusting butter garlic dipping sauce. It didn't help. The worst part were the wing flavors were a huge letdown and not spicy at all. We ordered the mesquite dry rub, gold rush and Thai ginger flavors, and they were honestly so bland and boring that at first we thought the order must have been wrong. They have a strength listing on their menu and they should have at least had a kick at level 3/5, but they tasted more like just regular mild wings.
