My family of 6 went in tonight to get donuts! We all are grown and live in separate places but wanted to grab a bite together. We made it clear when walking in that although we would all be paying under 1 tab (to make it easy) we did need each donut ordered to be in separate bags not one box. The original girl in a pink shirt (don't know her name) was incredibly rude. She visibly rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath. She then grabbed a box to put our donuts in and when reminded we need them in the single donut bags she again rolled her eyes and just walked away, not continuing with our order at all. However, Sam was the best. He stepped right up to the plate, got each of our donuts and then checked us out all while mentally keeping tabs on what each of us wanted. If it weren't for Sam we would not go back, he did great and was very friendly. The girl in pink however should be fired, customer service is everything! read more

I call the store with a recorder no answer twice with several employees. I left a message then the owner Robert called, I asked how long do you keep your donuts and his reply was up to 24 hours and his employees finger touch throughout the day to be sure that they are still soft. I said that after 8 hours they should be thrown away not sold as fresh. I said that each tray should have the time/date/name of the donut so the employees are sure for fresh donuts. But Robert didn't say that they do that. NO he only said they do that after I repeated it several times that shows me that was not true. Robert wanted to give me a replacement donut. On the next time I come to the store. Hold it a minute he still wants to keep donuts up to 24 hours. Give me a break. His employees don't finger test for freshness instead of using a tooth pick or something like that. I understand from Robert was everything is good with customers reviews, which is a 3.6 stars having 192 reviews. In my opinion that is not that great. A 4 or 5 is great. But if you don't care about selling donuts up to 24 hours and hope that your employees do a finger test to see for freshness you'll never have a 4 or 5 stars. He really didn't seem to change anything because he thinks everything is going so great. Robert said if you don't like it you can always call the franchise office and complain to them. That's pretty despicable because if I was the franchise office, if you have to refer Customer to franchise office, I would eliminate the owner because obviously if he has to have someone else do his fixing of problems then he's the problem. If you want great Donuts that are fresh I would definitely go to Dunkin' Donuts. read more

Donuts are creative, just like the name; the design of the places is awesome, and prices are reasonable, especially for what you get with significant portions. The donut choices and the names are awesome, and so are the donuts, but they are very close to being too sweet to my taste. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Alright we understand we coming in at 5 on a Sunday meant that not all donuts would be fresh. But, I was craving one and we wanted to try a few. Not one donut was fresh. the Nutella and caramel apple pie donuts, have the Nutella and the apple filling at the top, when I tell you that you could touch the Nutella and apple filling with your finger and it didn't even budge. Almost like a slime that's been left to dry for a week. My husband tried the homer, that's his favorite donut of all time and he spit it out. Said it tasted like someone had put a matchstick that had already been lit, straight into his mouth. A sulfur taste he couldn't get rid of. The blueberry streusel wasn't bad but not something I'd go back for. Not that I would go back at all. $40 for 8 donuts. Not one came home with us. Not all donut shops are created equal. being a cake donut freak, i tend to be shy when trying new places bc i don't like being disappointed. i will begin my review by stating that the place is clean and quiet (1:35pm) & our server was sweet, friendly, and helpful. the available flavors all looked so tempting, but we couldn't try em all, bc CARBS. we ordered 1/2 dozen (6 if you don't math) and were pleased with 4. the red velvet and blueberry streusel were reminiscent of a bad date - dry, flavorless, and boring. the peanut butter cup, twix, & snickers were every bit of tasty deliciousness. all of the cake donuts had that slight crispy edge, but the chocolate flavored ones left no want whatsoever. so sweet-tooth satisfying and yummy! we had a lemon filled raised and although i wish that it also had some type of dreamy-creamy filling, it was not disappointing one bit or bite! all this to say: hurts donuts was definitely first-kiss quality and make-out worthy! well worth the drive imo. read more

I just bought a couple of my favorite donuts and a cappuccino and kept it rolling. It's a little bit average price and very open space and I sat around long enough to see that at 3 o'clock. This place gets popping on a Tuesday! The guy who served me was very nice and was apologetic that there was no chocolate for my mocha so I chose the caramel macchiato instead. All was good to me. The workers are always extremely nice and patient while you choose from all the options. The shop is very cute and welcoming! Note there is limited seating but most folks buy donuts to go. Went in for a dirty dozen and came out with more! It was hard to choose my dozen because the variety is all so appetizing. The best value is definitely the whole dozen but I had to add a giant apple fritter (with real pieces of apple and delicious glaze on top) and a bavarian custard filled donut. There was consistently a small line at the counter but the young ladies working there were extremely quick (if not more than a little brusque). They have a few tables in the light, airy dining area and everything was very clean. There's a separate area for self serve drinks. There's lots of parking out front and they're easy to get to, off of Parker Road. I would definitely indulge my sugar cravings at Hurts in the future. read more

Unfortunately this establishment has really gone downhill. I used to drive all the way from downtown but no longer. No matter what time of day I come they are dry...and my favorite donut is never what it used to be. One of my favorite donut shops so far. The first time I tried I ordered Jesus and snickers. And the specialty coffee is good too. A guy made my coffee the first time and it was on point. The second time a young lady made it and it was just alright. It's probably a hit or miss. On certain days they have gluten free. I've called in once before to see what they had available. And the lady on the phone named all the gluten free donuts. So that was nice to know before going in. They also sell mills, water and sodas in a fridge. I'm looking forward to trying other flavors of donuts.Especially the gluten free ones. The store has no seating inside because corona. And the little truck outside is a great advertisement for the business. For sure going to mark as one of my favorite shops so far. read more

The mint ones had strong flavor and the caramel ones satisfy a sweet craving. Hurt's Donuts aka the Keto Killer. Man what a time to start Keto. I've been trying to stay away from donuts for some time but had to try this place. These donuts are delicious and so unique. I love the flavor combinations and names. Whoever designed and named these donuts is a genius. Also the decor of this place is awesome!! Tried the German chocolate, blueberry strussel, and the salted caramel. All of them were excellent. I would rate this place 4.5 stars. Stopped in for a special treat this afternoon and we all loved our donuts! I was impressed in how big it was inside. Usually donut shops are tiny and don't offer much if any seating. Hurts had several tables inside and additional seating outside. We were in around 1pm and the case was fully stocked and they were bringing more out the entire time we were there. They also have a large window so you can watch them top the donuts. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They had a selection of coffee, soda fountain and milk. We all enjoyed our donuts - though my husband and I couldn't finish ours in one sitting. However, my boys had no problem finishing theirs!! Can't wait to finish our donuts. We'll definitely make the trek to visit again! I personally tried the Blueberry Streusel, peanut butter Oreo and apple pie. My personal favorite was the apple pie, followed by the blueberry. Okay so let's start by saying this is our 3rd time here since there opening - which is to say a lot considering we drive down from Elizabeth. He LOVES the maple bacon bar and most of the ones he's tried. I read tonight they launched the Gluten Free donuts and had to go check them out!! My two donuts were best GF I've had since being diagnosed with celiac. A bit steep on cost per donut & cannot be combined with 1/2 dozen but definitely worth the drive & cost as a treat once in a while... as GF single donut is 150% more then the regular ones. Based on his reviews x3 and my experience this time. Tonight's work crew were not as chipper as they have been in past but otherwise they are a solid 4 - knowing it cost much more then any donut store around - regular or GF. read more

Hurts is located next to Artisan Pizza, across from Takoda Tavern. They have a big space with a huge variety of donuts, normal Coke fountain machine, and a cooler of drinks as well. Much like its neighbor Artisan, it's modern and pleasant inside. While you don't typically "dine in" with donuts very often, you wouldn't mind doing it here! With Hurts, the star of the show is the sheer variety of colorful donuts, and they somehow managed to keep things rolling for their official opening day. While I'm sure the morning was nuts, I came by later in the day and was pleasantly shocked to find a fully stocked donut display case ready for the steady flow of people coming in for Hurts' first day. For some reason, there are VooDoo Doughnut fans out there. These people might like terrifying music and unpleasant, often crowded dining experiences. Hurts is like the fun, happy version of VooDoo. The donuts are equally fun to look at, even better tasting (IMO), and the ambiance feels like a place where you want to be. While I picked up a Homer (Simpson-style donut with pink frosting) and a Bart Simpson tonight (butterfinger), there are so many great ones to treat yourself to - strawberry cheesecake, key lime pie, peanut butter cup, and so much more. They're good in your mouth. They're good for Instagram. We've had a bunch of new food spots open in Parker this season, and we're happy you're here, Hurts. I have tried multiple weekends and every time I get there they are sold out and today they told me over the phone that they weren't able to hold donuts so I did my best to get there as quick as I could and they told me they were sold out but that they could've held some off to the side after they told me on the phone they couldn't. I have never been so frustrated after a 30 minute drive in my life. UPDATE: manager got back to me today and was very apologetic about the situation and I was able to come back In and get 6 free gluten free donuts and I actually got them! Well I think I know a GREAT Donut when I see one. One of my jobs back in the day was that of a Donut Creator. I learned the old school hard way, that means you get to eat your mistakes. That said when you walk into Hurts Donuts in Parker you're immediately greeted by a genuine warm smile from a Team member and the smell of Fresh Made donut delights. Their cake, and raised donuts abound, but they also have Maple Bacon Bars and Awesome Kolache Cheddar. Chocolate doughnut with frosting and m&m's. It was pretty good but I didn't finish it as it was dense. The doughnuts were cute. Sprinkles and a frosted elephant. Pink sparkles. They were popular.
