We recently bought an RV and needed a flat tow setup installed for our Chevy Equinox. I contacted…read moresix different shops, but Cavallaro's immediately stood out. Although they were the furthest from us, Laura asked all the right questions, did thorough research, and provided a detailed, clear quote. From the start, they made us feel confident we were making the right choice. Leading up to the installation, Laura was always available and responsive to our questions, which made the process stress-free. The base plate installation on the car was done flawlessly--it looks as though it came that way from the factory. John was extremely thorough and walked me step by step through how to hook up the tow bar. As a first-time tower, I really appreciated the time he took to answer every question and make sure I felt comfortable and confident. I would highly recommend Cavallaro's to anyone looking for a tow setup. They are fairly priced, excellent communicators, do impeccable work, and are genuinely great people to work with.

Even though I purchased this car during the COVID-19 pandemic, the transaction was easy. While I wasn't able to test drive the car first, I worked out an arrangement whereby I had a 4 hours and and up to 100 mi from the time of delivery to return the car if I wasn't satisfied, and receive a 100% refund. Turns out that I discovered that there was a defect with the transmission (Torque Converter and ECM)--I notified the dealership and they got right back to me. After some easy research, I was able to determine that the transmission was covered under an extended manufacturer's warranty and was repaired with new parts and a reprogramming of the computer.

This review is about the sister dealership (Roc E-Z Auto) and the only reason it's getting to stars…read moreis because Ralph was a sweetheart and was very patient with this entire series of issues. I bought my car in November of '24... was extremely happy about it! And then the check engine light came on 6 months later... I took it into a mechanic that is highly trusted and was told that I had multiple leaks and that my ball joint was one good pothole away from my tire flying off. They said for everything they found wrong with my car, it should never have been sold to me. Now. I trust my mechanic. But I wanted to be sure and I got a second opinion. Cue me taking my car to ridgeview motors. They said they have never seen my car before (mind you. This place is a sister company to Summit view and Ridgeview. Same owner) at that shop. And even the mechanic at Ridgeview told me the car never should have been sold to me. Fast forward to after all of that got done and paying out of my own pocket. Check engine light still hasn't gone off. So I had a diagnostic check run on it... and the code coming back is a catalytic converter bank one code. I call them AGAIN and ask what was going on. Because at this point I'm irate that I bought a $12k car that I'm ending up spending the equivalent of my down payment in repairs on... I told them I wanted to speak with the owner because this is ridiculous. Ball joints and a cat converter don't go within 6 months to a year on a freshly inspected car! And since it was outside of the requirements for me to enact the lemon law, I wanted something to be done for the fact that I was sold a faulty car! I went into Summit View and asked to speak to the owner or whoever was in charge and Steve (the manager at the time) told me that the owner would get in contact with me in a few days. It is now December of 2025 (6 months after I was told the owner would get in touch with me) and I have not heard a single thing from the owner. I was also told that the owner would refrain from contacting me for as long as possible just so that everything that's wrong wouldn't be covered by a warranty and he wouldn't have to pay or fix anything. With the amount of money I spent in repairs already, I'm contemplating suing this location or even the owner directly because I was sold this car under the implication that it was able to pass inspection and I wouldn't have to do anything in terms of repairs which is a form of fraud! This is beyond ridiculous and I absolutely do not advise anyone to buy from Roc EZ EVER...! Honestly contemplating going to another dealership, seeing if they'll take my car, pay off the rest of it, and get me a new car that isn't riddled with problems... never again will I buy from here again.

After two weeks of not hearing from them, I called and they said it had just arrived. The next appointment available for installation was a week out. They said it typically takes 90 minutes to install, so I decided to wait while it was installed. It took 4 hours. The mechanic who installed it apologized for the delay, and said it took longer because the schematic he had did not match the vehicle. The next day we made a 7 hour trip, and then returned the following day. We heard a rattle coming from the back of the car, so when I got home I looked under the bumper and found quite a mess. The rattle was due to the wheel-well and rear bumper cover not being reconnected. The wiring was very sloppy, with wire ties not trimmed, poor crimps and the wires hanging down without being attached to pre-existing wires. I went back to Brad's the next morning so they could see the poor workmanship and correct the problems, which they took care of in about 5 minutes. I asked to speak with the manager and suggested that I should be compensated for all of my time and trouble. The total bill for the hitch, wiring and installation was $775. The manager offered a $45 refund of the amount that was overcharged due to a error she found on the Curt website which incorrectly stated the retail price. If I had not had trouble and complained, I would have paid $45 too much, not to mention the very long install time and aggravation. At this point I researched the price of the hitch available from reliable resellers such as Tractor Supply, UHaul and others who all listed the delivered retail price of the hitch for $145 less than what Brad's charged me after the $45 refund. The installation of the hitch was $110, and the installation of the wiring was $135. Buyer beware, do your research first!
