My exhaust was the first thing I've had done and I'm scheduled to get my struts and breaks fixed a little later! I just want to start off with how much they are working with me to get these things done. I'm not rich at all and if I had a stable job I would have loved to take them up on there offer with the credit options. But luckily, they know how to prioritize what needs fixing and scheduled me out for when I'll have the money to have those things fixed. Secondly, I want to point out how fast they got the job done! Julie had told me to bring it in so that they could diagnose the problem for me and that they could schedule me next week if I decided to get it fixed with them. Well, sure enough I bought it in on Friday morning, that same morning they were able to tell me what was wrong and the same day they ordered the parts and got it fixed! I literally got my car back at 3pm and genuinely did not expect that! I saw a sign in their shop and it said that they value their time, well I guess they also value everyone else's time too! I don't want to get into the free things that they did for me because I don't want anyone trying to come rip these lovely people off, but I do want to say the things that they did for me, that they had every right to charge me for, has let me know that I'm dealing with some really good people and has made this place my go-to spot! These are good hard working people who respects the customers that comes through their shop, no matter if you have a lot of money or not! The prices are absolutely doable and they don't pressure you if you can't do everything right then in there! Lastly, I just want to point out that I am a single black woman and the reason I bring up my race and gender is because we all know it matters, especially when it comes to mechanics! But Temstad didn't make me feel judged nor taking advantage of whatsoever! They were so welcoming and knowledgeable! Not only did they triple check my car but they explained every decision & priority to me. I really love that they weren't condescending because I don't know a thing about cars. They simply just explained it so I can understand the what and why! Like I said, as long as Temstad is open & will have me, they will now be my go to place!

I dropped the truck on the way to work and got a confirmation voicemail that it was done by lunch and I sincerely appreciate the shop taking me in on what could've possibly been short notice. I spent 1k on a part that needed to be replaced and mechanics at roc auto decided to go to the junk…read moreyard and get a defective part for about 300$ and put it on my vehicle and act as if it was brand new. I was told to comeback of the part continued to make noise. Which was very confusing because why are you taking my money and sending me home with my car after 7 days of alleged maintenance...only for me to still hear the loud noise coming from my defective axle which is attached to the differential. The number I was given to call back went to voicemail so I got a second opinion from another more honest and reliable mechanic ...who showed me exactly where the problem was....the mechanics at roc auto were irritated that I got a second opinion while I had both them and my new mechanic on a three way call...It's really a shame that these mechanics at roc auto conducts business this way...I would not recommend them to my worst enemy They make the rest of you mechanics look like scammers who take advantage of working class citizens.....thanks a lot You have been warned don't let them take your money
