I had to put Jarret's visit off twice because the lake flies were so thick, we couldn't open a window for even a second. Fortunately, he had some flexibility and could accomodate our schedule. He did a expert job and the windows operate like new. He also addressed an intermitent leak at our sylight. We were building/installing a new custom door and ran into trouble when we discovered that the door was warped, so we called Jarret for help. In addition to the warp, there is a difficult transition between the inside of the house and the porch that was a challenge. i.e. not a transition that a regular threshold could solve. Jarrett built a custom threshold and trimmed out the door in a way that conceals all the problems. We were impressed beyond words. Jarret is detail-oriented perfectionist. An excellent choice for complex projects. We give Jarett our highest recommendation.

They are cupping and lifting. Throughout residence, they are not adhering to the subflooring. They sound hollow and move like floating floors. They have splintered edges and gaps between planks. They did not install a transition piece from hardwood to cement in the mechanic closet. They did not install caulking at patio door where hardwood meets door frame. The caulking around the tubs and exterior doors extremely sloppy with gaps. Tape denotes where the hardwood floor is not adhering to subfloor. Hollow sounding with the hardwood giving to walking throughout residence. Floor touchup marker was used to cover large area of scratches. They didn't protect the floor when they were installing hardwood. Worked inside of home, and the interior of my furnace is hardened with sawdust. See photos.

They answered our questions and were very responsive. Their service and communication was great. The floor system looks really nice - we love it and we've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Some perks about this type of flooring: (1) The stairs have a great no-slip texture. (2) It looks much better than a plain epoxy or paint finish and easily as nice as the carpet we had previously. (3) The flake flooring in our basement is much warmer than I expected; certainly warmer than the ceramic tile we have in the bathroom. (4) It's easy to take care of and the pattern in the flake doesn't show dust/dirt easily. (5) We quoted new carpet for other bedrooms in our house and that confirmed the pricing on the flake flooring system is reasonable, especially considering the durability of this flooring vs. carpet.
