Terrible all around service, you are better off finding another Doctors office that actually cares about their patients.

Hi Dr. Tu. This is bitter sweet but I wanted to let you know about your employee who was the…read morereceptionist on the phone on December 3rd. She was very unprofessional and she laughed at us with her coworker and didn't try to hide it and then hung up on us. Maria and I both left a voicemail. Hopefully she didn't erase it. She also gave us a name but I'm almost positive it was a fake one. She wanted me to come, and pay for a visit because I told her that they made a mistake last time and only gave me a 90 day prescription when you ALWAYS give me a one year. She wanted me to come down and pay for another visit (of almost $100) and wouldn't understand that it was a mistake. She even had the gall to say that doctors have a right to do it. So I said in the 10 years he never did it and it was a mistake but she insisted I come to the office, wait, and pay. She kept doubling down to come to the office and said I could not talk to you but she would leave you a message. I didn't believe she would hence the reason I'm writing this review. So I went online and got a prescription and my meds for half the price of going to your office and spending half a day there. I went there because of you but your employee and the girl that worked with her that day on December 3rd left a bad taste in my mouth. If you like, you can call me and I will take this review down. Please talk to your employees because they are costing you business with their attitude and they seem to not care that they are hurting your business. You deserve better human beings working there that have compassion for your patients. Not someone who is just there for a paycheck and wants to make life miserable for other people. Unfortunately the other people are your patients.

Now let's talk about the staff including the assistant nurse, I have never seen such unprofessional people! I'm considering changing Doctors, I feel bad for Doctor Tu, but I can't deal with all the stress!

I have been a patient of Dr. Jack Wu and Dr. Angela Cherlin since 2014. I work as a nurse and work…read morewith doctors on a daily basis. Both doctors are courteous, professional, and do not rush my appointment. The office staff is kind. Often, I have to be squeezed in or make an appointment last minute and they try their best to accommodate since I work 12 hour shifts and it is hard to make an office visit except on my days off. I am excited for them to move to another newer building as the building they are currently in has bad parking and is not renovated so it will be great to see them when they move to the brand new office! The office staff is good about calling me back as well regarding insurance related referrals or letting me know a follow up result, which I am very thankful for as some other offices can forget about their patients in their hectic schedules. They do very well with following up! Which is important because I imagine if you have abnormal tests or results you would want to them to make that a priority so you could get appropriate care or follow up as needed. I do my annual physicals with the doctors and usually only come for something like evaluation if I have a horrible lingering cough that has been around for 1-2 weeks. The doctors will prescribe antibiotics if it is appropriate. My husband usually visits for the same reasons. The wait time could be improved as my appointment times sometimes stretch out to 30-1 hour waits. I understand some other patients may have many questions and both doctors are nice enough to answer them thoroughly. I often cannot complain about the wait time as they have squeezed me in several times when I desperately needed to see the Dr! Overall great doctors! :)

Do not recommend. In…read moremy family's experience, medications were prescribed and continued far longer than they ever should have been, with little transparency about risks or long-term consequences. Only after consulting other doctors did we realize how inappropriate the situation was. Watching a loved one deal with the aftermath has been extremely difficult and could have been avoided with proper care and oversight. Patients trust doctors to act responsibly and communicate honestly. That did not happen here. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for care.

My dad have been feeling sharp pain in his heart. We were very concern and took him on a sunday to…read moreAp Urgent Care. We have been several urgent cares before and it's usually very packed and especially busy during the weekend. The wait time can be a few hours just to see a doctor. This urgent care is located right next to the Fwy. So it's very easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. I was amazed how empty and there was only 1 person in front of us. It took only 5 mins to check in after filling out all the medical paperwork. In less than 5-10 mins, a nurse already called us in to take my dad's health readings and immediately had a heart machine to monitor his heartbeat. In about 5-10 mins the doctor came in to check on my dad. Afterwards, it just took a little longer to wait for misc paperwork. I was amazed in less than 45 mins, we were in and out!!!! The facility was cleaned. They even have a security guard on site for our safety. The staff could also speak Chinese and overall they were professional and friendly! I highly recommend this urgent care vs going to an overcrowded facility which will take a few hours of wait and the more wait seeing the doctors and taking care of other misc items before you can actually leave!

I explained that our water heater had leaked and caused mold, and shared photos as evidence. The water heater is right next to the fridge, which could create contamination issues. She repeatedly cut me off and said, "Why are you showing me this? I'm not a plumber." She was dismissive and hostile, refusing to consider our home situation in the evaluation. What bothered me most: * Poor communication and disrespectful attitude. * Ignoring important information about environmental health risks. * Lack of empathy or explanation for why the info might be relevant. If your child's health could be affected by home conditions, be prepared to insist that the doctor listens and documents your concerns. This was the worsted urgent care in La, my neighbor reminded me before: don't go there. But we still tried, because we thought the bilingual language hospital is more flexible for communication but the fact shows me, that's wrong decision unfortunately!

From check-in to checkout, the entire process was smooth. The staff were kind, attentive, and made me feel comfortable right away. I expected the referral process to take days, but they handled it quickly and kept me updated. When I needed medication, the prescription was sent out without delay. It's rare to find a clinic where everyone genuinely seems to care about helping patients. Their efficiency, professionalism, and friendly attitude turned what could have been a stressful situation into a very positive experience. I would definitely return and recommend them to family and friends.

They keep saying: "oh, we're busy right now, we'll calling u back." It never happens. All lies. Zero calls back. Worst one, the NP was yelled and didn't even want to listen to the complain, and hung up. Waow! What a service! Super epic. They called, inform about "something" that wasn't a clear instruction, and wanted us to check with a neuro specialist. How to communicate with the next doctor, if the instruction I received wasn't clear? If u inform something to someone, and someone communicate it to someone else, and it became unclear what do you want, cannot give response back, get the hell out pls. Do it yourself. Don't care what u want anymore. When I asked, "nicely"... their response was: oh, we're VERY busy right now, we WILL call you back. PRETT!! "Liar!" And the NP was saying: "don't u understand that we're VERY BUSY!!" "You need to listen to me!" (When she's the one NOT listening!) (After I called 3x and waited for them to call back like almost 8 hours???) Don't u think I AM NOT BUSY MA'AM? I was "too busy" waiting for your response, just to ask, what do u want from the neuro? From the kidney doctor? What the hell u want? Explain it nicely, not so complicated ma'am "busy-in-the-world." I'm sure the doctor is a nice person, but NOT the ma'am NP! She's a fucking bullshit!!! Not a profesional at all. They tend to hanging up their phone OR just blocked u into a busy line, so when u called them, NOONE (like literally noone) will pickup the phone OR listen to your voicemails. Their phone is broken, just like their heart is broken. Probably, just come to their busy office, and see how "busy" they are blocking people's phones call to make a very QUIET room. Wow!! Applause to their profesionalism. That's how they got their profesional degree. Just blocking people's phone, and do prescription till their patient's kidney is broken.
