From start to finish, our entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel staff were all extremely kind and engaging, offering helpful tips and suggestions. We had nothing but positive interactions with the valet and the front desk. The staff that work at the on-site restaurants were also lovely. Our ocean view room was clean and spacious. It had all of the amenities we could hope for and the shower had wonderful water pressure. My only request would be that there was a shelf in the shower to put the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as we ended up having to put them on the floor and bending over in the shower while pregnant is not an easy task. The linens were soft and I appreciated the opportunity to earn food and beverage credit or Hilton reward points if we opted out of having our room cleaned each day. The blackout curtains in the room were also wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony each evening and listening to the live music that was performed each night down by the pool. There was ample pool space with plenty of pool chairs, both in the sun and in the shade. Access to the beach was extremely easy. While we were there, we also took part in morning yoga, access to the complementary aquatic activities, a sound bath under the full moon, and the infamous luau. I also booked a prenatal massage at the spa, which was absolutely divine. Access to the Courtesy Car to drop us off at nearby restaurants for reservations was extremely convenient. We appreciated the complementary reusable water bottles and the local snacks and beverages that were restocked in our mini bar. All in all, it was an absolute incredible stay and the next time we find ourselves in Maui, we will absolutely be returning to the Andaz.

He was friendly, communciative, and went above and beyond to help me plan out the proposal, not just his part, but the entire flow, giving me restaurant recomendations and details that only local would know. We had some challenges that required last-minute changes to the plan, and he was incredibly accommodating and worked with us to make everything flow smoothly. The actual execution was also amazing, with entertaining and fun, different kinds of magic that kept us captivated right until the moment of surprise reveal. In comparison to some other brands such as Aman, Four Seasons Maui felt below average given its price point. The resort itself felt small and a bit old. The service felt very below average and inconsistent. One employee would tell you the sun umbrellas at the pools near the bushes are not adjustable while literally 2 mins later another employee came and adjusted the sun umbrella next to me and also mine when I asked. When we went to the adult pool we were told by one employee that we needed to be on a waitlist. After 3 hours when we finally got notified that it was our turn and went back we noticed other guests just literally went and grabbed empty benches and staffs were just setting the benches up for them(no, they didn't even know there was a waitlist)... Our canoe experience at the last day of our stay got canceled due to high wind and the concierge never notified us etc. Many employees gave me the vibe that they don't really care. They just gave me fake smiles and robotic responses. Maybe Amond would take better care of us...if he is still alive... The view was very amazing. We even spotted whales many times.

Contrary to what people say about the pool temps, I had no issue and thought they were perfect. Also, never heard the construction the whole time and I was in building 6 in the corner closest to the construction. I would definitely come back.

The room itself is updated and in great condition, but the premises are lacking.. Pros: quiet area near Kihei, good for families looking to hang out by the pool, large pools, water slide. Cons: small fitness center, no water in fitness center or filler stations anywhere on premise, pool across the street requires a separate key card that must be checked in and out each day, pool gates are locked until pool opens which forces you to walk around the entire property to get to places like the lobby or fitness center early, limited/no special events like live music, activities, etc. jacuzzis where down for maintenance throughout the duration of our trip. Only 1 restaurant on property with a menu on the smaller side.

After booking a $3500 per…read morenight the Villa on the montage properties, the nice folks at private paradise villas decided to cancel our reservation after three days of having our contract and left us without a spring break. Not only deduct they cancel as our reservation but they gave us no reason why other than the fact that we are traveling with six children who are all super responsible, have a love for the ocean, and a great respect for all properties. When we got the notice of cancellation, again, after we had canceled our other properties., They offered no explanation Even after we agreed to talk to the property manager or the owner to figure out exactly why they canceled our reservation. I can't help but think that somehow they are discriminating against our religion, we're having mini siblings it's kind of what we do. Because they said that we had too many people on the reservation even though the place fits eight-which is exactly what we had. Now her vacation is ruined and I would employ you to run as fast as you can away from that shady outfit.
