Plus side, initial service was fast and friendly but no water delivered (had to ask). The crab cake appetizer (market price $16.95) was good, two fairly large crab cakes - not too much filler, served with a tasty mayo sauce. Dinner arrived, the hit was that the filet mignon was super tender but came out very rare, not medium as requested. But they took this back and it came back charred on the outside but perfectly cooked inside, still good and served with salad and baked potato. The chicken club sandwich was good, wine was passable. The fish and chips however were very terrible.... frozen (Groton ?) fish sticks is not what we were prepared for so that was a massive no thanks. And, the menu was awesome with great selections from veal parm to prime rib, pork chops Angus streaks, salmon, etc. About 18 choices in all. I selected the prime rib rare and Beloved went for the grilled salmon. Both dishes arrived precisely as ordered and we found both to be totally delicious. I also was impressed with the price of $25.95 for such a good cut of prime rib, a regular bargain compared to what I am used to paying for the same elsewhere.
