It was exciting reading the 5-star reviews and seeing photos of the beautiful apartments. We contacted SkylinePMG to inquire, and they worked with us and our move-in schedule. From that moment on we felt like family. The property managers Kay, Bruce, and Kash really care about their tenants and take amazing care of us and the property. The building maintenance crew are very quick to respond to any issues: Either a major appliance needing repair or a minor faucet adjustment, you can count on a fast response and quality work! Two-plus years later in this wonderful apartment we've called home, we have always felt taken care of and a welcome part of the community. This is a place where your neighbors say "Hello" and you have the chance to make good friends - like the members of The Cat Sitters Club, which we formed using posts on the Community Bulletin Board. We've also enjoyed the maintained Community Garden in the courtyard that was started by the property managers for the tenants. The garden has produced fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs. You get so many benefits from living here. They even installed charging stations in the parking lot for electric vehicles after they saw a need. If we weren't retiring and moving out of the country, we would never leave El Dorado. If there's an apartment available, try your best grab it before someone else does!

I scheduled a tour and was clearly told over the phone that someone…read morewould be present to show us the apartment and that I would be able to ask questions during the tour. However, when we arrived, they tried to send us on a self-guided tour, claiming that this was my request -- which is simply not true. I did have questions, as discussed in advance, but there was no one available to help. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or trying to resolve the situation, the staff chose to blame me and offered no real help. This level of miscommunication and lack of accountability is frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend based on this experience.

    We stayed at Trestle on a short term lease while doing renovations. The property is well kept and…read morethe staff is pleasant. It is a good location. They have a few nice amenities, but we did not find much use for them. I would not recommend them for a few reasons: - Poor Onboarding Experience: I had to fill out a mountain of paperwork online using a very flaky website that did not make it clear what documents were needed or completed. And they make it sound like if you make a mistake they will not let you move in. - Noise: Building 1 is in front of a busy bus stop so you will hear beeping from the bus at all hours. There are also cars honking constantly when people make U turns at the nearby intersection. In the other hand there is no train noise even though it is adjacent to Caltrain. - Safety: The visibility of traffic when exiting the parking lot is very poor due to cars parked along El Camino right up to the exit. This makes leaving the complex very dangerous since you cannot see oncoming traffic on a busy road. The city repainted the curbs due to complaints, but on the wrong side of the exit which did nothing. It is a minor thing but the gates to the parking were frequently broken and the front doors were not very secure due to frequent deliveries and the doors being propped. - Mediocre Quality: The finishes in the apartment were cheap. There was existing water damage on the paint when we moved in. The appliances were a bit flaky. - Overpriced: We were paying a premium due to the short term lease and having a pet. We accepted that and those were the main reasons for choosing Trestle. However two issues came up that lowered our opinion of the company. First, when we needed to extend our lease by a month they offered a rate that was almost 2x so we had to find someplace else to stay. That was unreasonable given we were already paying an elevated cost and it cost nothing for them to extend our lease. Second, we cleaned our unit thoroughly before moving out and accepted we would pay something for the normal wear on the walls where furniture scratched the paint. Instead we got a large bill for full cleaning and full repaint.

We had a couple…read moreof smaller issues when we moved it and it is easy to report to their online portal and the maintenance guys came and handled everything. The pool area is amazingly beautiful and always really clean and welcoming - great place to practice yoga by the pool side. We had some family issues going on when we moved in and Charlie was UBER helpful and supportive in helping our move-in go smoothly. He's super patient, kind, polite and helpful. Charlie really is the face of Sofi Belmont Glen! Thanks, Charlie for all that you do to make your clients feel welcome and supported!

If I've ever needed maintenance, I know their response will be taken care of quickly and professionally, The complex grounds are always beautifully maintained. The gym and amenities (pool, cabana-style chairs, bbq, and fire pit area) are always clean and well maintained...everyone can just enjoy using them. My friends and family can't say enough about this place. What's unique about the design of the complex is that it's thoughtfully designed with its tenants' comfort and enjoyment in mind. The important key to all of this lies directly with the Property Manager, Charlie. I can't say enough about him. He's professional, knowledgeable, and takes the time to get to know his tenants. He not only successfully manages everything, he anticipates and tailors things to make each individual feel this is home as well as a community. He exemplifies what a property manager should be. All of this is why I've stayed here as long as I have... and I'm extremely picky. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a "home" not just an apartment.

I could tell he was very busy but he still took the time to expand on some of his answers that I still had questions about. He didn't hurry me or try to rush me out. He is really kind and polite. He's really done a great job since he's been here. Galina the leasing agent is the one who gave me the tour and helped me with all of the paperwork. Every time I've gone into the office she always helps me out and if she can't she gets the person who can. This is a nice sized community and she sees so many people daily and every time I see her in the office or we pass outside she always greets me by my name. I wouldn't expect her to remember my name but she does and it's a nice personal touch. The maintenance crew David and Fidel are the absolute best. They are fast to respond whether it's a big or little problem. They always have a smile when they come in. They do great work and fix it right the first time. The apartments are spacious and get great natural light. Plus there is plenty of storage space. Each building has a laundry room with nice machines and the price to wash and dry is good. The price and the machines are so much better than the laundromat. The hallways are kept clean. They did landscaping improvements and there are nice places to sit outside. The 2 pools are wonderful in the summer. I looked at a lot of apartments when I was moving and I'm so happy I chose to live here. Nice apartments and amenities and the staff are top notch.

    In December, I wanted to move to Madison Belmont and paid for an application fee and a holding…read moredeposit fee but I had to cancel. Galina Kravtchenko said that she would return the application fee and deposit in 5 to 7 business days. So that meant I would get it back around Christmas. Christmas came and I did not receive neither my deposit nor my application fee. When I tried to message her, I got an automated message that she was out of town. So I continued to message and she still out of town until after the first week of January. Until then, I reached out to the Belmont team and told them what happened and they told me that I wasn't on the lease and stopped responding to my messages and calls. Galina did not contact me until the 12th saying she apologizes for the delay, that she was out of office and that she doesn't handle the processed by the corporate office and that she would be back in office on the 22nd. So I contacted her on the 22nd. The first one was an automated message and then she blocked me. All my massages show up in MAILER-DAEMON now and she's nowhere to be found. I didn't see anything in the application that said they would keep my Deposit. She told me that she would return my deposit and she lied and I have proof of it too. My case was rare, but if they're willing to do this to a person that isn't even living there, I can only imagine what the people there are experiencing. Steer clear away!

    It is said that company's value of how they upkeep their buildings is held high and taken care of…read morequickly and promptly yet 2bLiving does NOT MAINTAIN THOSE STANDARDS. Once 40 Tiffany Ave was acquired from Gaetani in late April early May this building has NOT been properly mopped or vacuumed by 2bLiving Management. I cannot believe I say I MISS Gaetani Management due to quick response of cleaning and maintenance issues like fixing water heaters and laundry room issues. I had to tell management they can use my call box to buzz them in due to the lack of clean common areas like lobby, hallways and laundry room. Yet they DO have access and CHOOSE to not PROPERLY CLEAN. a job in which 2bLiving accepts and takes PRIDE in. UPDATE: It took TWO whole days for management to bring a cleaning crew to pick up the glass which is DANGEROUS AND HAZARDOUS out of the fire escape. Not only did they complete their job POORLY they still left glass on the stairs and on the 2nd floor fire escape. Not only did they prioritize cleaning the bulletin board and the few amount of glass they did clean. They DID NOT MOP OR VACUUM. Cleaners were on site with only a broom and a bag for the glass. What kind of cleaning is accepted by 2bLiving? Management also FAILED to mention to myself that the cleaners would need entry to my apartment. Which I never gave permission to any manager via email or text. That is UNPROFESSIONAL. There was NO manager present and the PROPER entryway to where the issue initially started would've been apartment 9. I believe if this matter would've been taken more seriously by a company in SAN CARLOS we wouldn't be in this situation in apartments in SAN FRANCISCO. Not only is the lobby dirty, management is aware of the broken water heater which they FAIL to change. They are aware of the broken washer and dryer stealing money from tenants and FAIL TO CHANGE. Notes: THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST TO EVER MANAGE 40 TIFFANY AVE because they DO not have the time to set foot on SITE to FIX ANY ISSUES AT HAND. Instead they would like to charge the tenants for usage of lights in common areas and water usage LOL. Their PRIORITIES ARE ALL IN THE WRONG PLACES, ONLY IN MONEY NOT IN THEIR TENANTS. Also their manager was quick to respond to me about a yelp review instead of properly handling the issues with glass on the fire escape. Which still led to a POOR job and trash of glass left outside of the building by YOUR cleaners. LOL
