Visited today with a pretty buggy front end from traveling for two days. No line so I was able drive right up. Unfortunately the staff was inattentive and rushed me through. Headed to the gas station and then noticed the front end still covered with bugs. Went back and explained the issue but they still rushed me through. No extra effort, no concern. Still has bugs. They have gone to hell. I'm going to have to find a new car wash or just start doing it myself. Either the wash leaves the grill or tailgate dirty. In the past it has stripped a tail-light lens cover off and has scratched my paint several times. They used to be easy amd convenient, now they are just risky and disappointing again and again. Go through the normal wash with people. They are worth it. I used the automatic wash on Oct 12, 2022. It did a terrible job! My sprinkler could have done a better job... seriously. read more

I have been coming here for three years and they have done a good job washing my GMC Sierra pickup. I have been several times in the past few months and the wash job is terrible, to put it nicely. I took my GMC Yukon through three times in a row and they still didn't get the back hatch or the front grill clean. I told the people working my concern and they totally missed it two more times. Very poor service, no manager on site. After three phone calls a manger called back and used the excuse of the staff being tired and busy, so I guess it's acceptable to do a poor job washing a vehicle, even though I paid full price with a tip. The manager said they will try to do a better job next time, TRY... really. Also did not offer to wash the vehicle again or try to make it right. read more

Went through the automatic car was, paid the highest amount just to be disappointed. The whole right side of my car was not washed at all! Huzzys used to be so good. Emphasis on used to be. Wouldn't recommend going here honestly. read more

Excellent wash and great value! This is the only place local I've taken my car since moving downriver 4 years ago. The staff I encountered have been friendly and they have a "dog wash" inside where you can bath your dogs. I didn't get a chance to use it the one time I tried as they had just closed it up when I arrived. The worker offered to open it up for me since they closed the dog wash part a little early, which was super sweet of them, but I understand cleaning it must take awhile and didn't want to create a new mess just before close. I still appreciated their willingness and will be back to check out the dog wash again soon and update with experience! read more

First off, I've been going here for 18 months - which is normally how long I take to really know what the bizz is going to be about. June 2016, they were jammin! Great workers and the right soap, rinse and wax mix! They "have" been 5 star since October 2017! Something happened in October...the soap, rinse & wax mixes have been off and today even the front bumper brushes for the first time were not doing the scrub job right...which means I have to finish the job when I get home! Come on Huzzy's, I "used" to love you. Tweak your shyt. After I give you another chance in a couple weeks, I'll report back on here. read more

I have two toddlers so I severely needed an interior clean but many retailers quote over $100. I needed a good vacuum, shampoo, and overall clean. I could skip the rest and Huzzy's had options for me ranging from $10-$30 and a more intensive clean for $80. I got the $30 clean and went into the waiting room with my two crazy toddlers. I found some Sprout TV and eventually the attendant came back. Our car was feeling brand new for $30 plus a $10 car wash and a tip. It's well worth it especially in the winter when I don't want to vacuum and shampoo outside in 20 degree weather or really just anytime. They do a much more thorough job than I would do myself and the results are well worth the price!! read more

I purchased over $50 in Huzzy tokens in 2020. When I attempted to use these tokens at their Flat Rock location where I had made the purchase, these tokens did not work. As an elderly senior, I do not subscribe to elder abuse nor grand theft fraud. A client from work was flying into town at around 3 p.m. and I called over to a familiar car wash at around 11:30 a.m. that I have been using for 10+ years now, Rainbow Auto Wash (on Allen between King and West), to see if Paul the manager had any recommendations for an auto detailing location. Utilizing his resources, Paul was able to get into contact with Eric at Huzzy's and get me in right away for a thorough cleaning. Paul and Eric communicated amongst eachother to ensure that my vehicle was "red carpet ready" in less than 30 minutes. The staff over at Huzzy's did a phenomenal job on the vehicle and exceeded my expectations. The client was relatively pleased with how well the vehicle was maintained both on the exterior as well as the interior. I cannot thank the staff at Huzzy's and Rainbow enough. read more

Wow! Been going here for years and suddenly they refuse to wash my car because my running boards won't go up. Really?! I was told they get caught in the tire cleaner & it keeps breaking. So the owner won't let those vehicles through. Well, I don't think running boards are the real issue here, do you? Try upgrading your equipment. They're going to lose quite a bit of business. I recently went here to use their dog wash. The area was very clean. The machine charges $10 for 15 minutes of washing and drying. I took my smaller dog, a 15# jack russell mix because I was skeptical that this machine could handle my 60# gsd in 15 minutes and boy was I right! The shampoo is alright, just stopped way too much, it leaves your dog feeling clean but not smelling good. I know that this is probably for profit and economy sake but there was no conditioner, which was really annoying since I wasted at least a minute waiting for it to change to something besides plain water. I got her mostly dry right as my 15 minutes were up. Due to previous experiences with the owner and workers, I didn't bother complaining or wasting the time on the machine hunting down someone to fill the conditioner. I found that pet supplies plus does 5 washes for 25$, they give you towels and brushes and have multiple shampoos to choose from, including a conditioner option, and they're full of product that is properly diluted and have no time restrictions. It just seems Huzzys is charging too much for sub par cleaning services, including their car wash and when they did detailing, and they're trying to get away with using as little product and time as possible. read more

I had the full detail job done on my car. I will never go back. There was so much dried dirt still on the outside I had to scrub it when I got home. Then they only washed half my windshield inside. I called and complained and they asked if I wanted to bring it back so they could fix it. Well... No... They had it for 9 hours. Should have done it right the first time. read more
