I've tried others (in proximatety) in a real pinch- like wedding or something where I didn't plan my time so well- it is pretty obvious that A&T has a group of workers that work together and if you watch them they really seem to want to do a good job. OK(?) so it is just a car wash - but any job is worth doing well- the the crew here works like a team the manager owner has them doing work that many find not so important. The actual wash is thorough- even their basic wash. I must past three or four opportunities to get this task done ont my way to this wash and I keep A&T coupons in my glove box. The recent corporate wash systems are not comparable- A&T is homespun quality and value- Thanks A&T- keep up the good work!! read more

I ordered a mid-priced wash and was happy with it. The fragrant soap aroma in the final stage is my favorite part of this wash. Getting a free vacuum afterwards makes this car wash a great value. It's the car wash I like to visit when in the area. read more

they did a great job spraying my car down. Make sure you tip the guys that are spraying the vehicle because they are the ones that are doing the work!! I had a lot of mud and a ton of bugs on my front end and they got every bit of it clean so I tipped each of the sprayers five dollars each for doing such a great job !!! do not go to Tommy's across the street. They will scratch your vehicle. They do not spray the car down plus they are more expensive. but this place is worth a $10 tip, but make sure you tip the sprayers. Just drove 3 straight days from the west coast and the RAV4 was coated in bugs! The crew here at A&T cleaned my SUV up great. Wiped all water off and hit the tires real good with Armour All. She looks awesome, especially after the bug fest getting here. Great job A&T!! read more

I would never take the time to review a car wash but they really are good. I've never had a car wash come out as clean and my car tends to be pretty dirty by the time I get around to it. Would love to give more stars but I specifically asked the attendant if the underbody wash works and they said yes. They didn't define what that means so I will tell you what it means to me: underbody wash to me means that the underbody jets will shoot up 12 inches from ground level. Depending on if they are recessed or not that means they should hit anything located under 11inches on the underside of my vehicle. What actually was they only hit everything 8 inches and under. Weak. There's no points for second place, as they say. Looking forward to changing this review when they repair the underbody jets. read more

I have heard a lot about here. I went today to ask 3 questions. And time wasn't on my side so the first time I didn't remember getting my car washed first. So I parked and wanted to ask the guy a few questions. Bc if I didn't have time I would have to wait. The guy taking the money was an absolute a** and kept yelling at me and telling I have to get my car washed 1st ok I understand that, can I ask my questions. I thought I had to ask the detailer, bc he is the guy doing the car, after every question he would yell at me that I need to get it washed first. After the 5th time I said you are being rude you have told me 5 times to get it washed first I heard you !! and I will go else where!!! He was soo loud the detailer in the last bay came down to see why he was having an issue. Like I did something wrong. I was 2nd bay in. since moving over here a couple of years ago I've come to this car wash I few times very good drive thru wash but today I wanted inside an out because my daughter has been using car a few months and it was really in need the detailing all together was 25 no problem but no one wanted to do my car so I just sat while they took other cars then instead of sending me away saying it wasn't a good time or something the guy half did it like he was doing me a favor and i even gave him a 14 dollar tip for his work i dont no if this was racially motivated or gender or just lazy but I would not have been offended if they would have turned me away instead of taking 40 dollars from me my air conditioner hasn't worked since Thursday when I went ig he sprayed solvent on it smh he just didn't care I will never go here again and no other black woman should and i was last person of day so talked to no one but I wouldnt want it fixed I. feel so offended read more

There aren't nearly enough automated/machine Car wash's in the area so when I heard about this one I was pretty happy since my cars a dirty mess. The wait time and prices are low for something like this which is good. But when my car got out I definitely noticed some pretty obvious smudges and smears from the The back of the car i the trunk area also had a fair amount of dirt still on it which was dissapointing. Overall not great but way better than the majority of the self serve car washes in the area. read more

Updating review, after going here many years, I realized they don't keep up with the times of many car washes going with monthly passes, free amazing vacuums, and updated equipment (brushes rinsers dryers) I now recommend castle auto wash on fort and Goddard as the best car wash downriver. Need to step it up A&t and update, plus your interior cleaning has gone up significantly. read more

Paid $22 for an exterior and interior clean. Had a mysterious stain appear that I tried to get out with baking soda and vinegar (didn't work it actually made it worse) and now it is no longer there! Everyone was very friendly and I would go there again the next time someone spills Arby's sauce in my backseat. read more

There are not many full service car washes in the Downriver area. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across A & T. I am very particular about maintaining my vehicle. A & T definitely does an excellent job. The exterior wash is as good as I've gotten from a commercial car wash. They offer numerous options with various treatments. I have been through here many times and am always satisfied with the results. Their interior service is well worth the extra price. On a busy day you may have to wait for a bay to open up after your exterior wash to get your interior done. Once they get started the interior cleaning generally takes 10-15 minutes. They really do an outstanding job on the interior. They are much more thorough than your average commercial car wash. You get the full attention of one individual and they really get the interior looking sharp. It well worth the extra time and cost. The only reason this isn't a five star review is I am not impressed with the tire shine product they use. It is a liquid product and inevitably drips onto the rims after the application. I am always forced to wipe excess product off of my wheels when I get home. If they would switch to a gel based product that doesn't run this place would be five stars all the way. read more

First you can't beat $15 plus tip for an excellent exterior wash, hand dry, and someone else to clean gosh knows what from the inside. The interior was cleaned in 15 minutes and this guy was hustling. Every sticky kid hand print and half eaten snack was removed. When I left with my car my forgotten earrings and a handful of change was neatly left in the cup holder. Two gripes: 1) the ashtray was not even emptied of the many wrappers that were clearly garbage and 2) no one looked happy or was very friendly. I will go back and I would recommend it. There don't seem to be many car washes downriver who do interior service as well. I looked on-line, found this place and decided to try it. My Escape, although a newer vehicle, was very dirty on the inside. This place was busy and for good reason! They charge $5 for exterior wash and $15 for exterior and interior. Money well spent! The young man who cleaned my vehicle spent 50 minutes doing it and it was immaculate. I thought I was going to get a minimal quick clean on the inside, but no. I tipped him well and will definitely return!!! read more
