Not only am I very disappointed with the diagnosis process and…read morethe repair that did not address the issue that I called them for but also with the failure of their management to address my concerns. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this company…read more The tankless water heater descaling service is a SCAM! My water heater kept giving error code of blockage, and I had to reset it every other day. The tech Anthony recommended descaling. I was charged close to $900 for diagnosing the water heater and descaling it. It only took him 5 min to set up the descaling, the rest of the time was just waiting for the heater to flush itself. My water heater gave the same error code the same night. I called Plumbing Express again. Another tech came, he said he couldn't find anything wrong, he said maybe due to strong wind. He just hit the reset button, which I knew to do it myself. I called Plumbing Express again. This time they didn't come, and gave me $2,000 quote to repair the piping and all that. I debated for a long time between repairing and replacing the whole system (my system was only 5 years old). I decided to call another plumbing company for second opinion. They came and found the inlet water filter being extremely dirty and blocked. They cleaned it, and now my water heater is working like new again, and the new plumbing company charged me less than $100. Cleaning the filter was supposed to be part of the annual maintenance descaling that I paid Plumbing Express to do, which they obviously didn't do and I paid $900 for. They even mis-diagnosed and wanted me to fix the whole plumbing system for $2-3k. It is insane! Another issue was during the first appointment of fixing my water heater, I also asked Anthony to look at my shower faucet because it didn't control temperature very well. It was working fine besides the temperature part. He unassembled it to look inside. He said the cartridge needs to be replaced. He had to look for it and would call me back. Anthony put the shower faucet back. The same day when I used the shower, I turned the faucet and it fell off. It was very obvious that Anthony assembled it incorrectly. He came back and couldn't put it back because the parts inside broke already. He said he would call me back about replacement quote. Never called me back. I had to call office multiple times. After that, they said the faucet is too old, there is no replacement part, I would have to replace my entire master shower system. Not only Plumbing Express didn't fix my shower faucet, they completely broke it. They turned a simple problem into something they would cost me tens of thousands of dollars to fix. Now I'm still living with my faucet broken off and still trying to figure out a way to fix it without breaking my bank.

The guidelines are not…read moresuggestions or recommendations, they MUST be followed, according to manufacturer documentation. The first tankless hot water system Dupree installed failed bc they did not install an air intake vent as required. They replaced that unit and ran an air intake vent. The unit never worked properly and during a video call with a tech from the tankless co., they instantly saw that the fresh air intake vent was going the opposite direction of the exhaust vent. Guidelines state vents MUST run parallel and exit at the same side of the house within 24in of each other. Dupree installed the intake air vent at the easiest location, out the back of our house just above the basement. Our exhaust is on the roof, 2+ stories above the intake vent. They are NOT exiting on the same side of the house and are they are NOT a max of 24" apart from each other at the exit points, as required. This VOIDS our warranty with the manufacturer. Most importantly, It is DANGEROUS. Page 34 of guidelines state "DANGER: Failure to properly vent the water heater to the outdoors as outlined in this Venting section will result in death or serious personal injury. To avoid the risk of fire, explosion, or asphyxiation from carbon monoxide, never operate the water heater unless it is properly done and has adequate air supply for proper operation as outlined in the Venting section." Josh from Dupree said this is how Dupree installs tankless systems all the time. If we want to have Dupree install the vents to be in compliance with guidelines, we will have to PAY them bc we are outside of our 2 year warranty with them. This is not about their warranty, this is about installing operating systems as required by the manufacturer. Dupree wants us to PAY them to fix their mistakes. In addition, they ran the intake vent close to our dryer exhaust vent. So, our tankless system has been sucking in dryer lint. WE ARE NOW FACED WITH HAVING TO REPLACE THE UNIT AND HAVE VENTS PROPERLY INSTALLED DUE TO DUPREE'S ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE AND DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMER SAFETY. It is appalling that they could not bother to read manufacturer required guidelines not once, but twice, when installing a tankless hot water system in our home.

The hot water heater stopped working again 2 months ago so I called them to service, the gentleman that serviced the machine the previous time was professional and courteous. I learned that they no longer serviced the area. I called three plumbing services out to help fix the hot water heater and was told by all three that the hot water heater was installed incorrectly which led to no hot water and heavy vibration to the equipment. The last plumber called the manufacturer to validate the incorrect installation of the unit. This instillation error caused me to have to purchase and install a new hot water heater unit.

Reliable should be called NotReliable. My mother's unit stopped about 3 weeks ago and it took a week and my grandsons great great grandmother's unit went out as well and they won't arrive to her for almost two weeks for repairs. Both were purchased through Reliable so pleeeeeeeease BEWARE. They don't deserve ANY star for their services and customer etiquette is non existent. Another Update: August 17, 2026 My AC has completely gone on out me on yesterday with health issues, an elderly parent in their 80's here, and a toddler grandson. Reliable states that I'm in a rural area and although the feel is like 110 degrees outside, my thermostat reads 98 degrees, we have nowhere to go. All representatives I speak to advises that we're suppose to wait from Sunday Morning on August 16, 2026 until Wednesday August 19th from 8am-12pm to actually breathe. It's okay for us to pass away from heat exhaustion in our home but illegal by law if in a vehicle. Ive politely begged to speak to someone higher and was not allowed. I've called 3 times with no real resolution for this dire situation for my elderly parent and toddler grandson. I also work from home. BEWARE, DO NOT get fooled. I was also advised that I'm in a rural area but keep in mind that they sent a technician out to get me to buy this awful service in that same rural area the very next day with no problem whatsoever. If heat exhaustion occurs, I must sue. I pay on time each month and get regular scheduled maintenance in which they recently completed. Update: Received a call from them after the review stating someone will be out to fix the ventilation in the rooms and their insurance will get back with me soon. 1:30pm Worst service I have ever seen. Spoke with someone almost two weeks after my system installation due to the system being put in my home improperly and flooding my floors walls and ceilings and no one has reached out to me to assist with any accommodations other than a restoration service. I have loud dehumidifiers hooked up to increase my electric bill (not on a generator), I work from home so the noise is a problem, no type of compensation for this huge inconvenience to come home to after returning from a trip to see my home like this with children, hardly any air coming through the vents in my children rooms causing it to be extremely hot during the day and night, and no responses via email from the one point of contact I was given 5 days ago. Floors coming up in bedrooms and hall floor with odors of mold and my kids and I have terrible allergies. I have never seen such worst customer etiquette in my life. I thought I would have cool air in every room and to move in to my next renovation project when returning home. My floors just have never been right since the flood to my home.

TE Certified Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

    (599 reviews)

Exceptional Service from Beginning to End…read more I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Isaac Adkison of TE Certified and the exceptional service he provided from our initial consultation through the completion of a significant plumbing repair at my home. I contacted TE Certified after discovering a concealed hot-water leak beneath the slab of my home. From the very first visit, Isaac stood out because of the thoroughness of his assessment, his knowledge, and the amount of time he took to help me understand what was happening and the different options available to address it. This was a major repair decision for me, and rather than rushing me toward a particular solution, Isaac carefully explained the advantages, disadvantages, uncertainties, and long-term considerations associated with each option. Over the days that followed, I had many questions--and I mean many! Isaac answered every one of them with an incredible amount of patience, professionalism, and detail. He never made me feel as though I was asking too much or taking up too much of his time. When I needed clarification about specific items on the estimates, how the proposed reroute would work, the existing plumbing, freeze concerns, accessibility, restoration, or the potential for future issues, he consistently responded with thoughtful and knowledgeable explanations that helped me make an informed decision. What impressed me just as much was his honesty. When there were things he could not know with absolute certainty until the walls were opened or the existing piping was further evaluated, he said so. I greatly appreciated that. I never felt pressured or given false assurances simply for the sake of making a sale. When I ultimately asked Isaac what he would recommend as the best long-term solution for my particular home, he gave me a clear professional recommendation and thoroughly explained his reasoning. That gave my family and me the confidence we needed to proceed with rerouting the hot- and cold-water lines to the kitchen through conditioned interior space. On the day of the work, that same level of professionalism continued. After locating the plumbing manifold beside the refrigerator, Isaac made an extremely clean and precise opening in the drywall, preserving the piece so that it could be neatly replaced afterward. As the routing plan developed, he initially proposed one solution, but when I expressed concern about how it would affect the appearance and countertop area of the kitchen, he listened to my concerns and was completely receptive to exploring an alternative route I suggested. He evaluated it carefully and determined that the new lines could instead be routed behind the refrigerator and stove and through the lower cabinetry to the sink. The result exceeded my expectations. Isaac, with the assistance of Reeves, completed the work with tremendous care and attention to detail. The new lines were insulated, neatly routed and securely installed, and the workmanship throughout was exceptionally clean and organized. They protected the surrounding areas while working, treated the home with care, and left the kitchen looking virtually unchanged despite the extent of the plumbing work that had been completed. You would never know from looking at the finished kitchen that such a significant reroute had taken place. Most importantly, after the new lines were installed and the water was restored, Isaac checked the water meter to verify the result. The meter was no longer moving. After dealing with the stress of a concealed leak and having to keep the hot water shut off, seeing that meter remain still--and knowing the leak had finally been resolved--was an enormous relief. Another thing I greatly respect is that the project remained at the best-case estimate I had authorized: $2,915. There were opportunities throughout this process for the scope or cost to increase, but Isaac remained transparent about the work that was actually necessary and completed the agreed-upon repair accordingly. There is a difference between someone who simply knows how to perform a trade and someone who combines technical expertise with integrity, communication, patience, problem-solving, respect for the homeowner, and genuine pride in his work. In my experience, Isaac demonstrated all of those qualities. I also want to recognize Reeves for his assistance in completing the work so carefully and efficiently. Together, they did an immaculate job. As a homeowner, especially when dealing with a costly repair in an area outside of your own expertise, it is incredibly important to feel that you can trust the person advising you. Isaac earned that trust. He did not just repair a plumbing problem; he helped me understand it, thoughtfully walked me through a difficult decision, listened to my concerns, and ultimately delivered a solution that I feel very confident about. I am genuinely grateful that Isaac was the plumber assigned to m

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.
