I was hoping to leave Anytime a great review, however the experience been less than desirable - and I should have chosen another company to replace our HVAC system. Anytime does not return calls nor messages once payment has been made. Bruce, our "Comfort Advisor" was very communicative until financing was approved. I left 3 messages for him during the install and never received a response. He said that he would send over a revised proposal prior to install for me to review. However, I never received it. This is where I should have stopped the project, so shame on me. I actually received the Proposal 4 days after installation began. I was told that there would be dampers installed in our new duct-work, however we have none. A 3-Ton system was installed when we had a 3.5-Ton prior, without any explanation as to why. The installers did not originally install the UV Light and Media Filter that were part of the original deal. If it weren't for me asking about them, it wouldn't have been included. The installers left my crawl space floor covered in loose sheet metal screws along with a large box of trash that I had to breakdown and dispose of. Finally, there were no follow-up calls made to see if the system is running as expected or simply how the experience was. I called the main phone number to discuss this and was told that the Install Manager, Paul, would call me to discuss. It's been two days and I have yet to receive that call. Disappointing, to say the least. After spending tens of thousands of dollars, you would think "service" would be a top priority for them. I am now regretting my decision to go with Anytime Heating and Air and will certainly NOT be using them in the future. read more

tried to give this company a chance but their attention to detail and overall business ethics makes me unwilling to do business with them again. They do not operate in good faith and have cheated me on both simple maintenance jobs. Looks else where, read on if you want details The first chance was this summer. Their Tech proceeds to only do half the maintenance on my unit then quotes me 350$ for capacitor. Since I was not on site but my wife was we did do the part replacement. When I came home I noticed the half done job, and questioned if they even replaced the part. The tech manager was quick to assure me they did replace the part but he will send a new tech out to finish the maintenance. I was satisfied with this and gave them another chance. This fall they came back out to only again do half the job required for a full maintenance. Also, the quoted me an additional 4k$ job to replace parts. Funny this is one of the parts was the same part replaced in the summer. This tells me either I was right and the manager was lying and the part was never replaced to begin with or the company likes to take advantage of their customers to only change more money to their victims. This review is for the plumbing services we received December 2023. We had someone come to our home December 2023 to fix the garbage disposal and was informed that the disposal was on the low end of quality even though the guy who previously installed it (ALSO from this company) said it was of great quality. We had to get it repaired by the second plumber only for it to STILL LEAK the very next month. I held off on writing this review but I'm so pissed- I'm tired of being taken advantage of. And the plumber started off nice the 1st day, but the next day he came into our home and brought such a negative attitude. He didn't speak upon entering and he didn't even throw away the old faucet just left it on the counter and left...how rude. So we basically got scammed by this company TWICE. Update as of 7/26/23 DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Still having ac cooing issues. In the end, I had to find a solution to my continued problem which turned out to be a failing zoning board. This company does not know how to troubleshoot or diagnose a problem. They only seem to fire the parts cannon at it. If you have a clogged filter or dirty coil they can sell you a new unit, but don't expect them to be able to resolve more complicated issues. read more

Update to the business manager response: I have no voicemails and no one from your company has contacted me. On Friday, when I left two messages for Joe, I provided my number. Also, on Saturday, when I spoke to the Emergency line, I provided my correct number. No one has tried to call me and there are no messages. The field supervisor should have been sent to my home for no charge. I paid in August and still had the same issue months later. I shouldn't have been charged. Ask your field supervisor why he removed my batteries. You have proved the point of the other HVAC expert I spoke to regarding these issues. He stated you all intentionally sabotaged the service. Clearly, removing the batteries is proof of that. If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm so frustrated with these people. In August 2023, I contacted Anytime Heating, Cooling & Plumbing for an A/C condensation leak. When the technician arrived, I told him to go to the attic. He said "I've been doing this for a long time, I've seen this before I don't have to go to the attic". He went outside to the unit and claimed I needed 1 lb of refrigerant. What does refrigerant have to do with a condensation leak? I waited months before repairing the drywall and had the drywall repaired in November 2023. Months later in March 2024, I turned the A/C on and a week or two later, the condensation leak reappeared, so clearly the technician in August didn't know what he was doing and hasn't been doing it long enough. By this time, it's now April and I called another HVAC company and they suggested contacting the folks who came in August. I called and spoke to the manager, Joe, about my reoccurring issue. He quickly commented he knew exactly what was causing the problem and would send his "best" technician to insulate my attic and perform a thorough inspection of my units. His "best" technician came with another guy and placed the insulation in my attic then said he would go back to the office and tell Joe the condensation line needed to be "wrapped". While he was at my home, he also removed my thermostat batteries saying they weren't needed. I quickly replied if they're not needed why is it designed with a battery compartment? If the batteries are for backup, then why was my panel blank? He moved some wires and took out my batteries. My thermostat is not hard wired so the batteries should not have been removed. He performed an inspection of my units and told me the capacitor was close to being out of normal range and if I didn't replace it, my unit would shut off. Hindsight, I should not have allowed them to replace it. They came to my home for a condensation leak and they were barely addressing that issue. Now, I've come to realize a capacitor part is roughly $14-30 and they charged $364. Their labor is quite expensive. I didn't hear from them for over a week. After almost a couple of weeks, I called Joe to inquire about "wrapping" my line and he commented he would send someone back out to "wrap" the line. He came and left two or three times because he didn't bring enough. At one point, he dropped litter in front of my home and left it. In addition, he wanted to know the location of my hot water tank. I asked why since the hot water tank was not relevant to resolving the condensation leak. He replied "it's protocol to take pics of hot water tanks while on a service call". I adamantly communicated he would not be taking pics of my hot water tank, his only job was to fix my leak. On Thursday, May 2nd, I arrived home to a very hot house. It was noticeably hot and I quickly realized my A/C was out. I went to the thermostat and the panel was blank. I removed the cover and installed the required batteries. The panel began to display data. Clearly, the batteries did not need to be removed and his "best" technician should have known this. I called Joe twice and he didn't return my call. I contacted the weekend emergency on Saturday. A technician returned my call and said he would speak to Joe and call me back. He did not. During these events, I was communicating with other HVAC experts and each one of them stated back in August the technician should've gone to the attic and initially checked the pan followed by other check points. He didn't do any of it. I'm having another company service my unit and wholeheartedly regret calling and using these people, but more importantly, paying their overinflated prices. After all of this, three visits to my home, my A/C which was working fine just having small leaks is now not working and my drywall needs to be repaired again. They should be the ones paying for the repair of my drywall. As one HVAC expert mentioned, it seems they are either not knowledgeable or they intentionally sabotaged the service. Either way, I wouldn't recommend them. I don't understand how this company is rated highly on Google, but based on my experiences, they are the complete opposite of their reviews. read more

Technician tried to scam me. He told me my AC unit fan was not spinning, I later found out that he unplugged the circuit box outside. When I plugged it In, the fan began to spin. He also charged my card for a repair when we agreed to the trip charge only. I called the office, and I was told I had to wait for Monday to correct. I called on Monday and was issued a refund minus the trip charge. Which I believe, as a courtesy they should not have charged me. read more

We booked a appointment with Anytime Heating Poor customer service. They hung up in my face after trying to scam me out of $60 dollars. The technicians will show up without calling and then try to leave quickly and charge you a fee with out doing any work. This is bad business practice to (not mention this fee over the phone) Their plan is to send you an email explaining all the fees and if you don't see it then is your fault. Bad business you cant just email fees without The customer acknowledging or signing of on it. This is that old read the small print scam. My initial relationship with Anytime started out beautifully. Within a year, it was ruined by a "complimentary plumbing inspection", that ended up costing me over 800.00. My home is under 7 years old, and never had any plumbing issues until this complimentary plumbing inspection. The technicians claimed to have knowledge of tankless water heaters. The technicians (notice that is 'plural') who serviced my expensive unit, failed to follow the procedure necessary for tankless water heaters, which was a simple call to the technical support department of the manufacturer. There is more I could say, but to the consumer looking for a reputable company offering services with YOU in mind and not just your wallet, I say you might want to shop elsewhere. You may see some good reviews below, but this company has changed management and you WILL BE SORRY IF YOU USE THEM. Summary: My NEW A/C system WITH Anytime MALFUNCTIONED and FLOODED MY HOME. THEY SAID IT WAS NOT A WARRANTY ISSUE AND REFUSED TO FIX IT. ESTES FOUND IT WAS A WARRANTY ISSUE WITH THE FAN IN THE SYSTEM AND FIXED IT!!!!!! Read more below. I'll keep this short, although I have a 40-page document prepared that was submitted to the state licensure board for negligent practices and I have sought legal counsel. Anytime installed a NEW a/c system in my home. Three weeks later the system LEAKED WATER CAUSING WATER AND ELECTRICAL DAMAGE TO THE ATIC and SECOND LEVEL OF THE HOME!!!!!!! Anytime came out to assess the problem and gave CONFLICTING ACCOUNTS of the reason for the leak. The initial invoice had no charge for the visit. However, after I questioned several aspects of the system functioning and install, a NEW invoice was issued for a $175 charge for the visit to check the leak (three weeks after NEW system install). It was a NIGHTMARE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE WITH OFFICE MANAGER MINDI BARKER. I felt she was just mean!! She stated after further review of the problem they found that the problem was NOT WARRANTY related, and I needed to pay. The invoice (still past due today) states I owe $175 plus late fees, with threats that it will go into collections. The REVISED invoice also notes a recommendation to get a new drain pan. A NEW DRAIN PAN IS CLEARLY ON THE NEW SYSTEM INSTALL WORK ORDER (they didn't do the work they promised). This would be an additional ($265). During the visit for the leak anytime states the water was needed vacuuming out of the lines. However, system was not blowing cool air, and still continued to leak after that. At this point I stopped dealing with ANYTIME heating and cooling. I was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED!! The system STILL WAS NOT WORKING AND CONTINUED TO LEAK. I sought legal counsel. I had one company refuse to touch the system because they said it was NOT TO CODE and I needed to contact the licensure board and county building inspectors. I finally called ESTES (wonderful) and they came out and stated the following. THE FAN IN THE NEW SYSTEM WAS DEFECTIVE. IT WAS 100% a warranty issue. IT WAS CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL WATER DRAINAGE. They ordered the new part under warranty and changed it!! I am happy that the problem is now fixed. However, I'm still uneasy with the system overall because ANYTIME has shown that they are incompetent in CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TECHNICIAN WORK. Double wammy!! This has been ongoing for three months!! I had to pay for electrical and water damage to my home. My tenant has had to take off work multiple times to be available for A/C work. The electrical bill at the house has been double the normal summer rate due to the faulty fan and the system working extremely hard to not get cool. I still owe ANYTIME $175 to NOT DIAGNOSE A WARRANTY PROBLEM for a newly installed system. MY drain pan still needs to be replaced ($265), which was on the install work order. I WAS ASKED TO CONSIDER TAKING DOWN A PREVIOUS REVIEW, AND I DID. I posted a bad customer service review on YELP, just after the install (but before I knew the system didn't work, because of my dealings with Mindi Barker in the office. The company refused to honor my service plan (DON'T BUY THAT WITH THEM!!) stating I would get 10% off servicing. They refused to honor the plan. After I posted the review on YELP, they decided to refund the service plan at $140, to rectify the problem ($70 less than the actual discount - petty)! THIS REVIEW WILL STAY!! read more

The A/C system in one of my rentals in Atlanta was not working. I had 3 heating and cooling companies look at the unit. Anytime Heating & Cooling quoted over $800 for a temporary fix which they say may not last at all plus stating that the system must be replaced, and another company quoted over $400 plus replacing the system for $2,200. Joe from J&R came out to service the unit and found it was low on freon. He added 1.25 lb of freon for $143.75 and found the equipment in good condition, with no need for replacement. The A/C is now working and the tenant is happy. The highest quote I got was from Anytime Heating & Cooling and they did not respond to me with the quote for a new system as they had promised. I think either their technician does not know what he is doing or the company policy is to get the most from their customers, I will not use this company again in the future. read more

We started using this service based on the recommendation of the contractor that sold us our house and they have not disappointed. We have had numerous visits from them and they are always on time, professional, and you can tell they know their stuff! I also like that how they tell it to you straight and don't try to upsell you on stuff you don't need. We pay for the annual membership which includes preemptive evaluations of your hearing and cooling systems before each season. Would highly recommend! read more

Our air conditioning went out this summer and now our heat went out this fall. Anytime came out for both issues and did an excellent job. I could not recommend them more. Stephen Charles and Charlie Battle were our technicians. Both were extremely professional, thorough, and nice. They both were very courteous and wore masks the whole time, which I greatly appreciated. Charlie even climbed in and out under the house in the pouring rain with no complaints. Scheduling service is a breeze, and the people in the office who do the scheduling are also great. When the technician is on their way, you can track their ETA online, which is also very helpful. I can not recommend Anytime more. I know they have my best interest in mind and that they will do a fast and excellent job. read more

My AC quit working in the middle of June, a season of immense southern heat, Anytime Heating and Cooling was the first responder to my last minute call for help. The outdoor AC unit functioned but the air was not cool. Their guy (i forgot his name) showed up and diagnosed the problem quickly. He said I needed to replace the capacitor for $220 and also charged me a $59 fee for coming out. Don't they usually waive that? A $220 component was about the size of a large mug. That thing costs $220? Oh well, the important thing is that the AC is running again. Electronic delivery of invoice. Paid the guy on the spot with credit card. read more

The fan in our downstairs HVAC system stopped working. We thought it was the fan motor, but the technician said it was a bad motherboard that was preventing power from going to the fan motor. He installed a new motherboard for $573 ($418 for the part, $55 for service call and $100 for labor). After replacing the motherboard, the fan started working. However, the condenser unit was now not working. He said it was the compressor and it would need to be replaced. It was too late that night to find out the cost of the part, so he told us he would call us in the morning with the prices. Late the next afternoon, Mindi from Anytime Heating and Cooling called to give me the price to do the repair (almost $2,700) and asked me if I would like someone to call me to give me the cost of replacing either the whole outdoor unit and AC coil or replacing the whole system. My husband and I figured that at $2,700 we might be better off replacing the system than fixing it now and having to replace it in a few years anyway. John called and gave me prices ranging from about $4,500 to $6,000 depending what we had done and grade of the system. After speaking with my husband, we had pretty much decided to spend the $6,000 and replace the whole system. However, there was something gnawing at my husband; something did not seem right. The condenser unit was blowing cold air to the outside, even with the thermostat turned to the 'off' position. My father-in-law worked on HVAC systems for many years and is therefore very knowledgeable. My husband spent several hours on the phone with his father troubleshooting the problem, thinking that the technician may have wired the new motherboard incorrectly. My husband found a diagram of the wiring of the motherboard online and everything seemed to be wired correctly. Just when he was about to give up, he noticed a wire nut on the wire leading from the thermostat to the indoor unit that was not there before. He removed the nut and found that it was wired incorrectly. Some wires weren't connected that should have been two wires were connected to each other that shouldn't have been. My husband rewired the connection and our AC is now working fine. We believe that this was done intentionally to make us believe that the condenser unit wasn't working. There was no reason for the technician to touch this particular wire at this location, as it is nowhere near the motherboard he was replacing. We know for a fact that there is no way this wire could have been connected this way prior to the technician working on the system, because our AC wouldn't have ever worked with it being connected that way. My husband spoke to Mindi at Anytime Heating and Cooling on 6/30 and explained all of this to her. He told her we expected to be refunded all of our money with the exception of the cost of the motherboard, which we found out has a wholesale price of $205.54 and a retail price of $320.40, not the $418 we were charged. We chose this business based on previous reviews on on another site. I am writing this review with the hope that someone else does not make the same mistake. read more

my tech person showed up on time, explained what he was going to do. changed the filters to a high grade filter. checked all the wiring. made sure all was working properly. Well mannered, answered all my concerns. I highly recommend Anytime HVAC. I get the same great service on my Air Conditioning units. When my A/C stopped working this past summer a technician came within two hours to do the needed repair. read more
