First day taking a class at this location. It was a great workout!! I'm Very impressed with the cleanliness and the variety of equipment here. I've never seen a boxing gym with this many boxing bags. The staff were friendly, upbeat and patient since it was my first time. I will definitely be coming back for more classes! Highly recommend.

Pretty dated 24 hour fitness in the area, but then again it seems like there haven't been many…read moreremodels of other 24 hour fitnesses either. Most equipment is obviously well used but seems to be on their last legs. I can sit here and nitpick all the minor details that would normally give any business a poorer rating but this place is just old and worn. Do I think whoever owns this location should considered some updated renovation and maybe some updated machines? Yeah, I'm sure everyone would agree it'd definitely would be a plus and might entice new members to join but I'm still able to get the workout I need in regardless. I will shout out the staff though. I do see them making some effort to maintain a sense of cleanliness rather than let it go to shit so s/o to them.

When I first signed up, part of my goal was to lose weight but mostly I wanted to get out of my depression and start being active again. The guy in charge of memberships convinced me to do a personal trainer for a month for over $300 and told me multiple times that I'd lose 10lbs in a month if I did. I thought it'd be worth it to get more comfortable with the gym at least while I'm still new to it. Little did I know that the gym would close down after my first personal training session. The second closest fully "24 hour" gym to my house is almost 40 minutes away and I lost my motivation quickly, because I only go to the gym past 10pm. It took over a month for them to reopen and in that time I was charged over $300 for ANOTHER personal training month that I had no idea was also recurring. I'm struggling in college and don't have that kind of money to spend, and went back to ask for a refund on the day I was charged. They told me to talk to a manager, which I did, but then they told me he wasn't actually the manager and to come back when the manager was there. (I went back maybe 3-4 times and the manager was always on vacation?) I have no idea why they couldn't refund but I spiraled after that whole experience and ended up GAINING 10 lbs and losing the motivation to even go out of my house, instead of losing 10 lbs like they said.

But for me what really made the gym stand out is how awesome the people that work there are. Both Tristan and Robert (who both help manage the location) were extremely accommodating to me when I first started showing up and weren't at all pushy about trying to get me to sign up permanently, which to me is a good indicator that they actually truly care about servicing their clients and not making them feel like a "number". All in all, I would definitely recommend this gym to any fitness enthusiast- especially those who like to work out at both the late and early morning hours

I felt uncomfortable walking around trying to find someone to help me, and I texted at 6:37 PM that I was there. A trainer eventually approached me and was polite, but the overall experience felt disorganized and uncomfortable. When the manager came out, the focus seemed to be on how I entered and whether I rang the doorbell rather than the fact that I had a confirmed appointment and did not know their process. After I left, I received a phone call that felt more focused on explaining why the situation was my fault than resolving the miscommunication. This gym may be a good fit for others, but based on this experience, it was not the right fit for me.

There is a wide range of instructors, but my faves are Anthony, Rena, and Eunice. I used to be a member of another Pilates studio, and the classes here have gone above and beyond that. While I haven't used the other resources at the gym, they seem to have a good amount of cardio machines and weights, a basketball court, pool and sauna.

If I could put a zero to the review if I would…read more Whole situation was because after I was told by LA fitness when I got injured. my membership was freezed/canceled still had charges from the bank and I reported cancelled. Turned out they had two accounts of me. This is my updated review "I just learned that 'Christian' is the General Manager of this location. Honestly, as amusing as is this, explained a lot. As a small business owner, this entire situation is mind-blowing to me. Mistakes happen in every business. Billing errors happen. Miscommunication happens. What should never happen is a manager speaking to a customer with disrespect, constantly interrupting them, blaming them, and refusing to take accountability. If one of my employees treated a customer the way I was treated, they would be facing serious consequences immediately. Not because a mistake was made, but because of the attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for the customer experience. What I experienced felt less like customer service and more like a membership collection machine. I called because I was physically injured and unable to use the gym. I was told by another employee that I was not being charged anything and that everything was fine. Based on that information, I believed the issue had been resolved. Months later, I discovered I had continued to be charged. Instead of taking responsibility for the misinformation, I was blamed for not checking my bank account often enough. The most shocking part was being told that I should have been checking my bank account every day. As a single mother running a business seven days a week, I found that response insulting, dismissive, and completely disconnected from reality. One bad employee can hurt a business. A General Manager can define it. I hope the Regional Manager reads this review because this isn't just about a billing dispute. It's about how customers are treated. accountability was nonexistent, empathy was nonexistent, and the focus seemed to be on collecting fees rather than resolving a legitimate concern. I genuinely liked this gym and intended to return once my shoulder recovered. Instead, I canceled my membership and will never return. Christian didn't just lose a customer--he permanently changed my opinion of this location and the LA Fitness brand. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with LA Fitness in Chino." I suffered a serious shoulder injury and have been going through physical therapy. Since I was physically unable to use the gym, I called to freeze or cancel my membership. The employee who answered looked up my information and told me I wasn't being charged anything and that everything was fine. Based on that information, I believed the issue had been handled. They had two accounts of me based on where I lived and the number I changed. No further questions or concerns. Months later, I discovered I had continued to be charged approximately $40 per month. As a single mother working seven days a week, I don't review every transaction every day, and I trusted the information provided by LA Fitness staff. Afterward, Christian called me to discuss the account. Instead of listening to what had happened, he repeatedly interrupted me, spoke over me, very rudely and said it's illegal if I record. I didn't. and became argumentative. The conversation felt more focused on defending the charges and convincing me to keep paying than understanding why I had originally called to freeze my membership due to a legitimate injury. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of accountability. I was given incorrect information by LA Fitness, continued to be charged, and was then blamed for not catching it sooner. When I asked Christian what he would do if he were in my situation, he told me he would check his bank account every day. That response was dismissive, unrealistic, and unhelpful. I never asked for anything unreasonable. I wasn't trying to avoid paying. I simply wanted to temporarily freeze my membership while recovering from a serious shoulder injury. Instead, I received misinformation, continued billing, and poor customer service. LA Fitness may have a good gym, but customer service matters too. Also anyone knows how to deal with this situation let me know. This Christian had promised me a $40 refund and then he took it back. If I want to freeze I have to pay $10 anyway which was also okay. But his attitude poked me and I feel humiliated so I decided for that I would pay for the fee and walk away forever. Also, this is the gym that's in for your money. Please be careful.

You are going to spend more money and have more issues at another gym. Trust. The pregnant manager goes around and sanitizes and vacuums--that's not going to happen at other gyms. Staff is super nice and friendly. The gym does run its A/C. Thank you for not being cheap because I don't know who wants to workout in a hot and stinky gym. Members keep to themselves--reasons why I have left other gyms. I'm giving it a 5 (but really a 4.5). I wish they had more/better equipment. They really need machines similar to Gold's Gym. Gold's has more leg machines but their stuff is always broken lol. Fit 19 has some repetitive and hardly-used equipment. I love that you can go into the studio and access all the kettlebells/weights/bars/mats This is usually restricted in other gyms. They often do not let you use weights in the studios at other places. The turf area is nice as well and is always kept clean and organized. People don't leave weights all around the gym--like at other gyms. The equipment is rarely broken like at other gyms with higher price points. You'll be lucky if LA Fitness' cardio machines are working. The spin bike room is so nice compared to other gyms as well. There's a lot more bikes compared to other spin rooms. All in all, you get what you pay for and in my opinion, I'm getting more than what I pay for--$10 a month. The manager was so rude and dismissive when I tried to ask a simple question, acting like helping members was an inconvenience. The gym itself looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. Several machines were either out of order or clearly worn out, and the ones that did work looked unsafe to use. For a place that charges a membership fee every month, you'd expect the equipment to at least be maintained. On top of that, i  was told i couldn't use the three-day free pass because I had been a member back in 2005 at a different 24 hour fitness. The manager insisted it stated that on the pass, but when I looked it up myself, it said you just couldn't have been a member within the last six months. Being turned away over something from nearly 20 years ago made no sense. What made the situation worse was how his attitude completely changed once he realized we weren't going to sign up on the spot. He became cold and basically turned us away, saying we couldn't even work out. He even suggested we go try another location and "maybe they'll let you do it there." Overall, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Between the poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, outdated equipment, and the way we were treated, this was one of the worst gym experiences I've had. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location unless some serious improvements are made.
