[[HIGHLIGHT]]I needed a space that would accommodate 40 people for my children's book release party, and after visiting George Coffee & Provisions upon my husband's suggestion, I knew I found the right place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The building looks like something you might see in Cape Cod or Coastal Maine - as I find the buildings in both places charming. This coffee house is all wood and painted white. It has clean lines and modest furnishings making it a perfect space to create what I wanted for my release party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also offer catering, and It's reasonable pricing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I booked the carriage room for 3 hours and came with understated decor that complimented my party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also brought my own cake. The food catered from them was delicious and honestly made the event perfect. And Jillian was our point person for our event was spectacular! [[HIGHLIGHT]]My event was everything I hoped it would be, and better. Stopped by on a rainy Saturday...[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has a really nice, spacious vibe with a cozy fireplace and sofas, plus a side extension and a bookable conference room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried a few different flavors: the salted caramel latte with oat milk was my favorite, the regular milk version was good too but oat milk was surprisingly more creamy. The toasted marshmallow latte was delicious, and the lavender latte was okay but I wished it had a bit more flavor. I also had the double chocolate chip muffin (gluten-sensitive) and it was really good. Coffee took a little time, but it was busy, so totally understandable. Their blueberry muffin is honestly amazing--one of the best I've had. As for the drinks, the Salted Caramel is the absolute standout. It's incredibly creamy and the flavor is perfect; definitely the best version of that latte I've found. I enjoyed a seasonal favorite that I thought was super unique called the French vanilla ghost pepper latte. The barista shared that it had some hazelnut and cinnamon as well. When describing the drink, it's a bit of a challenge but imagine a traditional latte at the tip of your tongue only to get a nice warm, tingly hug at the back of your tongue! One of my favorite coffee shops! It makes you feel like you are in a Christmas movie or magazine, plantation vibes. I have been here enough times to know they are consistent and that is one of the best and hardest things to accomplish so I give them props for that. The service is incredible every time, the baristas are so nice and friendly. The staff is even friendly on Instagram! I have tagged them and they always respond. I truly enjoyed this place. Stopped here after eating some hard eight bbq during a long layover. The coffee is top notch and you can definitely tell what they are doing with their coffee equipment. They bad a beautiful Victoria Arduino machine right in the middle of the barista station. Its nice to visit places that place heavy emphasis on the craft. Nicely done! It has been a while since I used to come here regularly, but great things don't typically turn bad. Absolutely love the atmosphere of George where it's calm, homey, and inviting. Plenty of seating and space as well as plenty of options for beverages and food. Their food is great and their drinks tend to be impeccable. Luke warm and took too long to deliver. If you are going to serve coffee just warm and not hot let me know. Otherwise, there is no benefit to even ordering it. Plus no pastries at 8am. I'm sure they were coming. Just not at 8am. So like warm coffee and nothing to go with it. Yes I could have asked them to warm it up. But ran out of time. I also thought it was a bit small of a serving for $5. They only offered one size. So if you want a small cup of luke warm coffee then it's ok. Not great. read more

I absolutely love George's--it's hands-down one of my favorite spots, and I don't mind driving 50 minutes just to get here. The atmosphere, the food, and the service are usually spot-on and well worth the trip. That said, I had a bit of a disappointing experience today. I ordered my usual coffee about 35 minutes before the kitchen was set to close, but was told I couldn't have it in a mug because they were wrapping things up. I understand the need to close on time, but it was a bit disheartening since I did order well within the timeframe. I just prefer a mug over a to-go cup because it lets the drink cool more naturally, and it's part of the experience for me. Still a loyal fan of George's, but I hope this was just a one-off situation. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

This place is spacious with outside and inside seating. I believe there is a way to reserve a private room(s) for celebrations. There was a private family-oriented event this visit. The extra bustle was too loud for me and my end-of-week-coffee-unwind. However, I can tell this is a beloved neighborhood spot as customers varied between solo relaxation, group studies, family time coffee sips and full on event parties at this visit. We stopped by here at the recommendation of family while visiting from Colorado. The staff was welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The cortado was delicious and my husband said they made a decent vanilla latte. The ambiance was amazing. So much seating and plants and sunshine. The place is super cute and people are great! The food is quite expensive for what I received. My poor breakfast taco has 2 tablespoons of eggs in it and very burnt potatoes. I have been coming to George's since they opened and the food is different each time. I would say to not order the breakfast tacos or avocado toast online. read more

Great addition to downtown coppell. Lots of seating options but they need to because it gets packed. Especially during the summer when no one wants to sit outside. Menu is great with espresso and coffee along with food options. I always get their lattes which I enjoy. Got some baked goods last time, scone and muffin. This is an extremely cute little place. They have some unique coffees and generally offer some level of gluten-free sweets and treats. It's much larger than it presents on the outside and there's actually kind of a quiet section towards the back past the restrooms where it's more of a work zone than a social zone. Have to say they made a great cup of coffee. We really enjoyed the place. read more

Umm it's really hard to make iced matcha latte taste bad or bland. But this place did it. I literally said, "My water tastes better than this matcha." We asked for extra pumps of syrup later so that I don't waste money down the drain. It ended up being sweetened milk and obviously still lacked the matcha flavor completely. The coffee was not good either, didn't have much of a coffee taste. I gave it 2 stars because the ambiance was nice. But I won't return again unless they make some drastic changes with their recipes and maybe even better train their baristas. read more

Love this spot! Staff is friendly, coffee and food is delicious, love how spread out everything is, with lots of outdoor and indoor space for everyone.
