Lovely and intimate spot. Tre was wonderful for service. Really enjoyed how quiet and calm it was before it got a little louder with another group. Small snacks available but sparse

What a special addition to The VIN. We had such a nice time relaxing in the dark and "chill" ambience of the cave. The service was great, and the wine options plentiful. The way you serve yourself was so neat. We really enjoyed this aspect of it. I do wish they had more snack options, but other than that we loved cave society and hope to be back. It's reservation only which kept it nice and quiet for a romantic evening together.

What a cool place to go for a glass of wine, on a date or even a business meeting. After you check in in the lobby, you're escorted to the secret hallway that will take you underground to the cave. from there your seated and the staff explains to you how it works. Use the card you were given upon check-in to access any of the wines available. You serve yourself 1 ounce or 3 ounce or a 6 ounce pour. Staff is very attentive, but also they don't hover-they do offer a few charcuterie options if you need a snack. I had the Siraz and my husband, the Pinot we were both impressed! It was his birthday and the manager treated us to a champagne toast!!There were glasses priced from 18-150 a glass! This is fairly new to the general public. I'm afraid once it takes off they'll be a waiting list often. It seats about 20 people so you want to book online at OpenTable. Add it to the love list

This was my first time at Tycoon. I have been to Volstead and really liked it. They are similar,…read morebut Tycoon feels a little "fancier". The decor is very plush. I love the bar. I can't wait to go back and sit at the bar. Our waiter Shawn was great. Very calm, helpful and available when we needed him. The Lavender Lemonade is a delicious cocktail and a great way to start the meal. The Fat Cat Fries has so many flavors going on. They were good. I LOVED the Blistered Shishitos and Crabmeat Dip. The naan it was served with was warm and abundant. I do not like when you order a dip and hardly get any chips or bread for dipping. Tycoon covered it! Our friend had the French Onion Soup and liked it. The Steak Frites (substituted with broccolini) that our friend got looked amazing. My husband had the Wagyu Sliders and really enjoyed them. I had the Mediterranean Primavera with blacked chicken that our waiter recommended adding. It was very good. They have a nice wine selection. Not a huge list, but good.

So I have been wanting to try Tycoon for quite some time now. I decided to make reservations there…read morefor Valentine's Day, which was probably my first mistake. I made my reservation on Resy. A couple of days later I get a call from the restaurant saying they needed a $25 deposit over the phone, in case we cancel. I have dined at a lot of restaurants but never have I made a deposit upfront, they would just have a card on file and charge it if there is a no show. The lady on the phone (Chelsea) said we would only have 90 minutes at our table, which is standard for most restaurants. Nevertheless we paid $25 and kept our reservation, since Valentine's Day is busy time I figured this was the reason for all of this. Upon our arrival we were seated right away, and as soon as we sat down the hostess let us know that they would need our table by 5:45pm, because that is when the next reservation would be there. Right off the bat I felt rushed. I hated the table we were sat in, because we were so close in proximity to other people. Tycoon is very pretty inside, but if you are not seated in one of their spacious booths, the other tables are so close together, you will definitely hear other people's conversations. Let's talk about the food, I ordered the Lavender Lemonade as my cocktail and that was really good. For our appetizer we had the Deviled eggs, and I was excited because I love Deviled Eggs, but these were just okay. I didn't love how over stuffed they were, I just felt like it was too much. For my entree I had the Chicken Parmesan which I thoroughly enjoyed. I thought my meal was flavorful and the pasta was perfectly cooked. My husband had the sea bass and he loved his food. To end the night we shared their Dessert Trio and that was delicious, aside from the Creme Brûlée because that had no taste. Their service was good. Our waiter was nice and attentive. I definitely didn't feel rushed by him, but the same hostess stood near waiting for me to take my last bite of pasta so she could take the plate from the table. We were watching the time the whole time to make sure we got out of there on time. Overall I was disappointed. I get that Valentine's Day is busy day for restaurants but I don't want to be rushed through a dinner that should be enjoyable.

Martin greeted us as we sat and took our drink order. As we looked through the menu, it became hard to decide what to get, but something about their burger kept calling out my name, so the burger it was. Martin brought out our drinks and the espresso martini was delicious. I love that they had their own spin to it, adding hazelnut, because it's good to be a little different. I also love that they weren't batched, because you can definitely tell the difference. The foam on top of an espresso martini is one of my favorite things about the drink, and it was so foamy and velvety! The burger, man oh man, that burger slapped hard! Since it was a smashburger, there were two patties on the burger that were seared amazingly perfect on each side. The one thing I really appreciated is that the middle of the patties were still juicy and moist, and it was nice to get both textures in every bite of the burger!! My dad got the burger also, and agreed that it is one of the best burgers he's had in a long time! As we wrapped up our dining, my son wanted some dessert, so he decided the chocolate cake. I looked at the price and was like wow, that must be a good piece of cake, but whatever! And when the cake came out, we understood why! The cake was big enough to feed 6 people, and I love how light the cake was. Some chocolate cake can be heavy and chocolate forward, but this one had some great balance, and loved the chocolate fondue they had on the side! Great experience here, loved that it was in hotel, parking was super easy, and then there's some other cool spots in the hotel for grabbing food and drinks also!

And as it turns out, apparently the manager changes way too often and with that inconsistent food and drink drinks. This is just one complaint but it's a consistent complaint. I hear over over it to sit at the bar for food. Hope it gets better and consistent. Survey the staff, they know what as consumers want.

Now reading reviews post visit, I was surprised to see so many people expressing dissatisfaction…read morewith this lounge due to wait times for access, limited bathrooms, and stacked dishes at vacant tables. I can only assume many of those visits were later in the day when the airport is significantly busier, because my experience was the complete opposite. I had a little under an hour in the lounge with a flight arriving at 7:25am and departing at 8:50am. There was no line to check in and we were granted immediate access. Located in Terminal D across from Gate D12, guests must present their AMEX card and boarding pass for entry. The cardholder receives complimentary access, while additional adult guests are $50 and children are $30 each. If you spend more than $75K annually on your AMEX card, you receive two complimentary guest passes. Personally, I do not think paid guest access is worth it for a short layover, but I can definitely see the value during a longer one. The lounge itself is quite large, though maybe not large enough for a busy airport like Dallas considering the number of reviews mentioning wait times. During my visit, however, while there were plenty of people, there were still a few spare seating options available. Their lounge had a good variety of booths, dining tables, lounge chairs, workspaces, and even small private office areas for calls or meetings. The entire space felt clean and organized. The food was continuously replenished and stayed fresh throughout my visit, though nothing was particularly spectacular. It reminded me a lot of the complimentary breakfast at a Hyatt or Hilton. Still, it was absolutely appreciated after an early flight on an empty stomach. I did enjoy that they offered healthier options including fresh fruit, fresh pressed juices, and wellness shots. I also noticed staff regularly cleaning tables between guests, and the bar area seemed popular with travelers enjoying complimentary morning cocktails. The bathrooms were clean, modern, and had full privacy doors with no awkward gaps, which is an upgrade from the typical airport bathrooms. Overall, I had a good experience and would absolutely return during future travels through DFW.

Wow, just wow..... I never expected to walk into a bar and find an attentive bartender like the one…read morethat I had and even came by the table at least five or six times. Usually you have to go to the counter but this lady was on top of things. This works for it to visit on December 15. 2024 I was looking for the Washington Redskins game and surely enough it was on the television and she pointed to the back where there was a table by itself with the Redskins plan so we sat there looked through the menu. I noticed I had crawfish but it's december, who has crawfish in december? I asked her about it and she said that because of the abnormal season last year that they are large this year and that they probably have about 5 lb left. I ordered 2 lbs because of the price you told me was $8! Now crawfish these times are getting ridiculous outside of Houston which I noticed are like 9 10 $12, it's okay I don't need crawfish that bad I'll just wait till I get back home. They came out and they were a good medium spicy. Definitely wanted more but had to save myself for dinner later. Had the whiskey and Sprite and I was thinking if it's under $6 it's recently priced a bar and when the tab came to find out it was only $4! Definitely very reasonable prices here and service. This place will probably fit about a hundred people and it seems like the patrons seem to mind their own business and don't start routiness as you might find in some other places. I noticed all the good reviews here and they are pretty much on point with this, definitely worth coming back to! Parking is ample

Being the first Sunday of the new year, I was equally surprised and disappointed the only Sam Adams was the Oktoberfest. This time of year, I expected to see the Winter Lager. Unfortunately, the keg had run out. As a second choice, I went for the Yuengling Lager. Something seemed wrong when .the glass was filling up with foam. Eventually, the bartender was able to get the glass properly filled. I went for the classic cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Given the choice of mayonnaise or mustard on the burger, I went with the latter. Half way through, the bottom bun started to tear. Fortunately, it had held by the time I finished the burger. The sweet potato fries tasted great as I chose salt instead of sugar. Fortunately, I had the beer to quench my thirst caused by the salt.
