I stayed here for work conference and had a great experience. The hotel itself looked really new and modern. It is conveniently located in the town center so there are ample restaurants and businesses within a half mile. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. We had catered dinner by the hotel one of the nights and I was pleasantly surprised that the food was really good for hotel food. There is a nice pool, a really nice patio deck sitting on a lake, and a fitness room. They also have a full bar. The conference room we were in did not have a properly functioning air conditioner so we were a bit uncomfortable. Request a room with a lake view. read more

We had 2 rooms for 3 adults and 2 children for one night. The rooms were great. It was very clean and the whole hotel was nice. The phone in one of our rooms wasn't working when I tried to call the front desk for help/something to clean up a mess our youngest child made. They promptly came up and fixed the phone and cleaned the floor and for that I would give 5 stars. The maintenance guy and housekeeper were very pleasant. The pool was nice and the water was warm. The outside patio area was very nice as well and had some outdoor games to play. I actually would have left a 5 stars review because I really enjoyed this hotel and it was great for the kids to play in the pool and get some energy out while on our long road trip. I did 4 stars because at check out we discovered someone had charged a beverage to our room. We did not. We asked if there was a video because we definitely did not buy an $11 Tito's. The woman "removed" it but still charged us $1. I get that it's only $1 but it just feels like on principle it's wrong. We did not get a Tito's, why are we paying for someone else's drink, even if only $1. Check your bills at check out to make sure no one charged your room. read more

Stayed here for work purposes for two nights. My hotel room was quite large with a seating area, a king size bed, a large screen tv, a mini fridge, and a desk area. The bathroom was quite large with a large walk in shower and a medium sized vanity. The shower water was nice and hot but the pressure could have been a bit better. Overall the room was very clean and comfortable. I felt safe as a single woman coming and going from this hotel. The staff were very friendly and pleasant to interact with. Tyler taught an excellent class today. He has multi levels of instructions/classes. I was supposed to interview Tyler after the class, but Ernie and I were tired and hungry. I'll interview him at another time. He was about to start another class in about 1.5 hours. I am sure he needed his rest. Four day stay. A great hotel in a very convenient location lots of food choices within a 5 minute walk. The staff is outstanding even with COVID they make every effort to make your stay pleasant. The property has parking that is gated off that you can access with your room key. The breakfast in the morning is grab and go with other limited options to order (see menu in photos). They have the bar open weeknights until 10pm wine, beer, and liquor are all available. The gym, patio, and pool areas are also open. Ice is available on the 2nd and fourth floors. Parking here is free and I am a huge fan of hotels who do not try to make profit of every inch of its square space. so I was happy that the parking was free here. The place had very friendly staff and the lobby was super cute. They had a bar as well as they have breakfast every morning, I am just not sure of how much the breakfast is. The grounds are breathtaking, the view at the backyard staring to the Gulf of Mexico is amazing, theres plenty of siting back there and even a fire pit to just sit there drink some wine and enjoy the view. I didn't see the gym none the less I liked the other parts of the hotel. The room is also some amazing thing They have it nicely set up as a little office space and bedroom with a mini living area, it was well decorated and well planed, the space was very nicely used for sure. It is slightly annoying to have to take the parking pass to the car after check-in. - Room (5/5) Quiet, standard HP room. But, the lakeview puts it over the top. Quick work trip to Jacksonville brought me stay at this Hyatt place. I'm a globalist member (Hyatt's highest reward status), and this has been one of the best Hyatt places I've stayed in. There is a good size parking lot for guest to park in right across from the hotel, you will need a key card to access. I find this very beneficial as it is right next to a fogo de chao and many other dining options. Christina checked me in and provided me with everything I needed efficiently. The room is your typical Hyatt place room- walk in shower, king bed, sofa couch, large flat screen TV, desk, dresser, mini fridge and closet. It was up to date and very clean. The sheets were super soft and bed was comfy. AC/heater worked well, not noisy I don't take advantage of the free breakfast but it is offered from 0630-900. Great location! Clean hotel! Wonderful customer service, steaming hot and delicious breakfast, an excellent all day menu with drinks, a beautiful pool, and lovely patio with an overlook of palm trees and the lake. Can it be any better?! Located next to their town center, so plenty... PLENTY of stores and restaurants for exploration. I came here for a work trip, and was treated with so much kindness. They even texted me daily to ensure that I was ok and didn't need anything. Rooms are super clean, and beautiful. Large screen tv, clean linens and towels, a nice shower with amazing water pressure, and house keeping was superpurb. The only downside is that their WiFi was darn slow.. and the rooms are a bit humid--but hey, we're in Florida and they did just have a handful of storms. read more

We've stayed at this exact property in summer of 2023 and based on that good first experience; we Booked again in Spring 2024, using our points. First impression of the room was that it smelled badly. Also noticed The bathroom needed a thorough scrub down. The soap scum on the floor and walls of the shower is thick and dark enough to see with the naked eye. There was a brown substance on the wall next to the towel rack. The bathroom smelled like old dirty mop water; the room in general smelled like sweaty feet. I couldn't get the AC to come on. I requested an additional cleaning and for the AC to be checked, as we were told there was no other room to move to. We came back for the evening to see the same soap scum in the shower and gunk on the wall. But at least it smelled better and the AC finally worked. Room 319. read more

Gave a young couple a night's stay here for a short honeymoon and either housekeeping and/or management needs to severely reprimanded or replaced. I've never stayed in the hotel personally but my in laws choose this hotel whenever they come to visit as it is pretty close to where we live.They came down for my sons birthday and he stayed at the hotel with them for a few nights.Upon returning home to us,we noticed his stuffy that he's slept with every night since he was safely able to wasn't in his bag.I contacted the hotel to see if it might've been left behind on accident and thankfully they were able to get back to me and let me know that it was at the property safely with this cute email.The staff is always great to my in laws and the hotel itself is very clean and open,I love how big and spacious the lobby is.They've got a great deck overlooking the lake behind the property and located in a wonderful shopping area with plenty of options for food. read more

This is the most disgusting Hyatt Place I've ever stayed at. It was bad enough we arrived late at night but our room smelled of mold and mildew. I pulled the filters out of the air unit and they were clogged and what looked like baking soda poured in the unit. Next the shower glass hasn't been cleaned in months and had soap scum all over it. The sink and faucet were disgusting with some with fungus looking growth on it. I would never recommend this location it's in much need of a makeover. read more

But during the conf. planning, things were changing and shifting. We are supper thankful to their team for being super flexible and accommodating. They were able to have our needs met. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days, starting Friday-Monday 12pm checkout. I liked the fact that there's 3pm check in time , and 12pm check out, we checked out on our phones which was very convenient. CONS: 1.There's NO BREAKFAST, that grab and go foolishness consisted of, packaged muffins , cereal, fruit & coffee. We went to "Another cracked egg" down the street and paid $45 for breakfast instead. 2. There's no room service and an extremely limited menu for food I would say a good 5-7 items you can choose from, there bar is attached to this area which by the way the old woman that's a bar tender just HORRIBLE on Friday night. We met an AMAZING bar tender on Saturday she unfortunately only works one day a week at the hotel. The bar doesn't have a drink menu, so the rude bar tender will tell you "we got liquor it depends on what you want" like I don't know what I want I want a menu with fun drinks!. 3. The towels in the room are dirty so be super careful when using them, look at them really good. 4. There's no Turn down service, be sure to call the desk and they'll send someone up who speaks no English. 5.No late check out on a Monday afternoon, when it's completely dead, I found that mouth dropping, but we made it work. PRO: 1. The outside terrace is lovely, the pool is not heated but still a nice sitting area. The lake is filled with beautiful fishes! 2. 5th floor view is amazing, be careful when getting a corner room, there's a stair well right there so you'll hear it all. 3. When the AC does work it blow really cool and blocks out a lot of the outside noise which helps considering it's in a busy area. 4. The location is PERFECT there's a bunch of restaurants and shops to go to you can walk or drive. You'll drive at most 7-10 it's a great spot and a clean area. read more

This is one of the only places I'll stay when I'm in the Jacksonville area. Location is amazing (town center, walk or drive anywhere in the area, very convenient). Staff is super nice and helpful. Always clean - I'm a stickler when it comes to room and building g cleanliness and this Hyatt does disappoint in the least. It can be a little expensive compared to area hotels, but you are get what you pay for (it's not crazy and it's worth it). Love the view of the lake as well, one side is the hustle and bustle of the town center and the other is a serene man-made water view. read more

Hyatt Place is a modern hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of St.John Town Center and surrounded by plenty of places to eat. My family and I received a warm welcome from the front desk staff. The interior of the hotel is contemporary, To the left of the front desk is a spacious seating area including an area to charge electronics. There are also a few cozy/intimate areas to read or watch tv. To the right of the front desk, you will find Starbucks and the bar area. Next to that is the Breakfast buffet area. Because of COVID-19, Self-service breakfast wasn't offered. Instead, the kitchen staff served each hotel quest as they approached the serving area. The hotel offered a variety of breakfast items to go. From cereal and milk, fresh fruit cups, yogurt, to hot breakfast items. ( the breakfast quiche was quite tasty). After you pass the front desk and lobby, the gym is located down the hall to your right. The gym is small, however, the gym has all the necessary equipment to do a full work out. Including clean towels, water, and sanitizing wipes. Only three people were allowed in the gym at a time, safety measures because of the pandemic. My family and I stayed in a room with (2 queen beds and a sofa bed) very cozy. Room service wasn't offered during our stay, again because of the pandemic. However, we received clean towels and bags to empty the trash cans, the cleaning staff offered to vacuum the room, I decided to vacuum the floor myself. To prevent other people from entering the room during our stay. I absolutely loved the deck area lots of comfy seating and a perfect view of the lake, a great place to watch the sunset. Perfect size pool under five feet, the little ones had a blast in the pool. I was so delighted with the accommodations. Looking forward to my next stay in November :) read more

Stayed here with family and friends the evening of The Rolling Stones concert at TIAA Bank Field. Or the Gator Bowl, as some of us would call it. I was expecting Rolling Stones Central, but a family reunion took over most of the Hyatt Place. But what few Rolling Stones fans staying here made for a great time, as everyone reminisced about concerts past and how they were looking forward to the show. The Hyatt Place Jacksonville Town Center is conveniently located near I-295, and has several stores and restaurants within walking distance. There is also plenty of parking, including a guests only lot with a gate. Just scan your room key for entry. The rooms are nice and clean. With all of the amenities you would expect. Our room had a large bed and a sleeper sofa. And the bathroom with walk in shower was clean and spacious. The lobby area, rooms, and hallways are kept clean, and the staff is friendly. There is a dining area with plenty of seating. Breakfast is served in the morning, and features scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, and cereals. And plenty of coffee. Which leads me to my only gripe. Not so much with the Hyatt Place, but with some of the guests at the breakfast buffet. As I said, there were plenty of guests there, and it seemed like every time I would go to the breakfast buffet, there were four people standing there. Why does it take a person several minutes to fix a plate with eggs, sausage, and any other breakfast items. Just grab a plate, get your breakfast, and go. I am standing in line with my plate while someone is playing "Fifty Stupid Questions" with the cook. People are hungry! MOVE! I would recommend a second counter service area to serve breakfast if the hotel is completely booked. The choice and quality of breakfast was fantastic. I just cannot understand how someone has to hold things up. Just take a spoonful or two of scrambled eggs and proceed to the right. Other than that, the Hyatt Place is really nice. There is a beautiful patio overlooking a lake, and a outdoor pool. There are also plenty of rooms for meetings and special occasions. as well as televisions and a computer area near the lobby, with plenty of comfortable seating. And the staff is friendly and helpful. Especially with giving directions over the telephone. I had no problem getting here. If you are in town for business, or going to an event at TIAA Bank Field, I would recommend staying here. read more

People at the front desk are more than personable and go out of their way to help you should you need any assistance. Outstanding customer care! House keepers are beyond reproach. I requested extra coffee and upon returning there was additional coffee packets as requested. May seem like something simple but many hotels do not accommodate they will simply leave a message to go to the front desk. This hotel makes sure they go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction for all their guests. I am currently employed with a company that does quite a bit of travel. Excellent location if you are traveling through to go south/north on 95. This brand new hotel is clean as a whistle, staff was lovely from the moment you walked in! Stayed on the fist floor (the dog friendly floor) bc my 75lb fido was in tow. They charge a flat fee of $75 for doggies. Lots and lots of amazing shopping and restaurants in the area that you can walk to. Gets a bit busy on the weekends. read more
