    Big gap under door
    Tiffany L.

Hubby and I stayed here for 2 nights. Everything started off great. The staff are very friendly, the room was clean, and the towels were soft. Unfortunately, the reason for the 2 stars is for the AC unit, and the gap under the door. The AC unit wouldn't stay on, so it made it hard to sleep. The gap under the door is very concerning for me as a solo traveler. Someone can slip something under that gap and open your door. Thank goodness I wasn't traveling solo this time around, for this reason.

    Poorly maintained furniture

This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've had, especially for a Hyatt. The room was clearly neglected. The wood furniture was chipped and damaged throughout, not minor wear but obvious deterioration. The headboard looked heavily used and worn down like it hasn't been updated in years. The couch had multiple visible stains, which immediately made the room feel dirty. Combined with old carpet, the entire space felt unsanitary. The bedding was just as disappointing. Two half-size pillows and one regular pillow for a bed is unacceptable. The sheets were thin and cheap, and the down comforter provided very little comfort. The walls looked like a rushed patch job with mismatched paint, making the room feel unfinished and poorly maintained. Even the basics didn't work properly. The TV remote was difficult to use and barely responsive. This property is not living up to the Hyatt standard at all. It feels outdated, poorly maintained, and borderline run-down. There is absolutely no excuse for stained furniture, damaged fixtures, and low-quality bedding. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone expecting a clean, comfortable hotel experience.

Very unpleasant I had to pay $500 to stay here for two nights the staff was very unpleasant and unhelpful my room was really it was like damaged none of the amenities were available they do not take cash for snacks and somehow my card keeps being declined for no good reason it's been a nightmare and I paid $500 for this I could have just stayed home and had a much better time and I don't know who works at the night but she is rude as hell and it's ridiculous I'm not happy and I wouldn't waste your money coming here it's not that great

We stayed here for 2 nights and our experience was good. The front desk staff was friendly and the check in process was breezy. The room was spacious for 2 Queen beds and a sofa (and I think it is a pull out couch but can't remember since we didn't check it out or needed it). The microwave and fridge is by a small counter with a sink. It also has a little desk and chair too for any work you want to do. The bathroom was decent and clean and the shower/tub and toilet is in one room with a door while the sink and dresser is right next to it, which makes it very convenient and you don't have to wait for someone to be done with the shower/toilet in order to use the sink. The beds are very comfy and clean. The dresser with drawers is quite dated and scruffed up though. It should be updated cuz it makes the room cheaper in quality and looks. The pool area is nice and has towels for guests to use. We used it 2 nights and the first night we had the pool to ourselves but the second night was full of people and kids. There weren't any towels available when I got there, so I went to front desk and asked for some. They also refilled the towels straight away once they heard that. I gave them props for doing that right away cuz they really cared about their guests. The free breakfast was very good! Much better in spread and quality than some hotels, for sure. It has sausages, scrambled eggs, potatoes, wraps and various breads, bagels. Has fresh fruit, yogut, hot oatmeal, boiled eggs, various milk types, juices and coffee and assorted cereal. Definitely a nice, good spread and they keep everything filled and refilled quickly. There's a lady who also helps keep the area clean and tables cleared quickly. Kudos to the staff for that, both the back and front staff! 2 things, though, I would suggest the hotel to consider: 1. While the closet has sufficient hangers, I find the room is lacking hooks to hang towels or your clothes, esp in the bathroom where you want to hang your towels. Some wall hooks would make it more convenient for guests. 2. The towel rack in the bathroom/shower is all rusty underneath. REALLY should change it cuz not only it looks terrible/gross, it isn't sanitary, health/safety wise. Overall, it was a good, clean hotel, has friendly staff, good breakfast spread and location is safe and clean. I would come back here again.

This is a solid place to stay, though a little on the high side as far as price. Olivia and Gabriel were outstanding, as was the breakfast crew and housekeeping staff. Just four knocks: 1. Bathtubs instead of showers. No thank you. I don't want to die falling out of a narrow tub after showering. 2. Huge gap under the doors. I don want to get a contact high when the Jamaicans in the next room are passing the dutchie on the left hand side. Plus door gaps in scorpion rich Arizona mean you might get a midnight visitor or two. 3. Powdered eggs at breakfast. Perhaps a delicacy at a correctional facility but not what I would expect from a $250 a night Hyatt property. And 4. The carcinogenic chemical cream cheese caulking paste is not only unpalatable, but disgusting. Pony up the money for some Philly cream cheese.

    Stains galore.

The sink still has toothpaste stains. The box spring was torn and had some ever so wonderful stains. Never again y'all. I'm really just writing this review for myself so that the next time I need a hotel in Mesa I make sure to go to my own page. I wanna say the original prices was $250. Thank the lord for the AAA discount cause that would've been robbery! Norma do not stay here. It was gross. Don't get shiny ball syndrome because it's near bass pro. The end.

The location was easy to find and conveniently located near a center with various restaurants, a grocery store, and entertainment options too. We were in town for a soccer tournament and this room worked perfect as it was myself and my spouse and our son who stayed on the pull out sofa bed. We had a short stay however I can see with the kitchen amenities it would be nice for longer stays. The outdoor seating was nice and the soccer players made themselves comfortable there at night. The pool area was nice and had nice views of the golf course next door. When I mention a couple snags - the shower was very nice it had both the waterfall over head option as well as a standard hand held shower head. There was some gross build up on the face of the shower head. When we were nearing the area from our Southern California drive we called and asked about early check in options and they advised to check back around 11a-12p. When we got there it was within that window and they seemed rather irritated about this ask. They noted that our room was being sanitized and would take up to an hour. They had a nice seating area in the entrance lounge space so we sat there. We took in the beverage station which was a great option, however we waited about an hour and a half before we finally began to ask for updates. The manager seemed over upset that we had been advised about early check in options. It all worked out and we got in a little earlier than standard check in. The next morning the breakfast was nice and there was various options beyond the prototypical continental breakfast.

There was also a small shop at the entrance selling snacks and chargers. Check-in was a bit slow as they had difficulty finding my reservation. However, the receptionists were always kind and helpful. The 2 queen bed room was spacious and included a microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, hangers, and an iron. The bathroom had communal soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There was a note on the sink stating that other toiletries were also available upon request. I wished there was more toilet paper was included as there was only one extra roll. There was a sufficient number of towels for the sink and shower. However, I found the shower to be difficult to start as the shower pin was stuck. The shower knob was also labeled backwards as the "H" was on the side of cold water instead of hot. The bed and pillows were soft and supported. The bedsheets were clean but could have been thicker. I enjoyed the easy access to outlets and lighting from the convenience of my bed. The TV was large and there was a decent number of channels available. Breakfast was simple yet executed well. The omelets were light and fluffy. Potatoes weren't always served but it was a good day when they were. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. Sausages were juicy and bacon was crispy. There was also fruit juices and coffee available. Other items included cinnamon rolls, cereal, oatmeal, and made to order pancakes. I would have loved healthier items like fresh fruit but the spread was more than sufficient for me. Although others enjoy actual dishware, the disposable plates and utensils made it easy to eat on the go. Would stay here again when visiting Mesa or Gilbert. Some make this complaint because they can hear muffled talking next door at other hotels. Here, it may as well be no wall at all. Without hyperbole, this is the worst I've ever experienced. I could hear my neighbors talking as clear as day - as though they were in the room with me. It immediately felt like I had no privacy. That's enough on its own to never come back here again. Besides this, the room smelled heavily of cleaning products when I came in, the paint was peeling in the bathroom I stayed in and the shower head and faucet were loose. Also - I think my laptop has a bigger screen than the room TV. But it all worked fine. The room itself was clean, the staff was nice enough and they did have a pool and jacuzzi on site. If the room were more soundproof I'd happily give it a 3 or maybe even 4 out of 5 star rating as a business hotel or a place for travel where you need a clean comfy bed to sleep in (my bed was actually quite comfortable as well). But the paper thin walls are a deal breaker. That Priceline categorized this spot as a 4 star hotel next to Hilton, Hyatt, or Westin is baffling.

I booked through Booking.com with a "pay at the property" option. However, one night was charged to my account prior to arrival, which was unexpected and confusing. At check-in, there were issues with my payment method. The front desk told me they "only accept real bank cards" in reference to my SoFi card. This was surprising and came across as dismissive, especially since it is a legitimate bank card and had already been successfully charged prior to arrival. After asking me to wait, I was then told the card had declined, which did not appear to be the case. We offered an alternative card, but were told that was not an option. The situation felt inconsistent and could have been handled with clearer communication and more flexibility. Additionally, on the morning of checkout (11:00 AM), we stepped out briefly and returned at 8:45 AM to find that our room keys had already been deactivated. When we asked about it, we were told it was because we were checking out that day, even though it was still well before checkout time. This created unnecessary inconvenience. Overall, the main issue was not just the policies, but how they were communicated. A more professional and guest-focused approach would have made a significant difference. We hope the hotel can review these processes, as the property itself has potential.
