I had to find a place for our 99 year old mother earlier this year which is no easy decision and Hyde Park Assisted Living has turned out to be a very good facility for Mom. The rooms, though not fancy, are new and clean. I've found the staff to be friendly, caring and supportive of Mom. When something is brought to the attention of the administrator she takes action. Mom likes "the girls" as she calls the staff and although she doesn't do every activity, she does some and that's because of the encouragement she gets from the staff to be active. Most of the time when I've been there for meals, the food has looked pretty good. I usually visit several times a week at different times of the day and have never seen anything that would be of concern to me regarding cleanliness or the care of one of the residents. read more

This place is not run well. Four different House Managers and various staff since November 2023. My…read moremom was a residence from 11/2023 until she was hospitalized on 4/1/24 in bad shape. Their first contact with me was 4/5/24. She was discharged 4/15/24. They reached out a total of 3X. She did not return there! There are a lot of problematic issues such as: most staff not being familiar with the medicines being dispersed, not mentioning physical therapy & memory care are contingent on your insurance, monthly calendar displaying activities however, the Woodkrest location didn't have any! One staff per shift (a difficult task for one person to tend to the needs of multiple at-risk residents!), the residents sit in their room/in the living room everyday, all day! You must call before you come, no transportation to take residents to appointments, outings, etc. It's hit and miss trying to get someone to answer the phone, amongst other issues. I do not recommend this place
