Great spot for authentic Indian dishes. The menu is massive. This was our first time dining in. We've had take out from here and it was good. We walked in on Friday around 5. This was the perfect time because there were not many diners, but by the time we got our food the restaurant was packed. The host smiled and was friendly. We were seated, I noticed all of the tables and booths have the tables pre-set with pretty glass plates and washable gold utensils. It was really nice and pretty gold table ware. The only down side to that, is the fork and knife have the, I'm assuming the dishwasher hard water stains that look as if the utensils are not clean. I get overwhelmed when there are a ton of items on any menu. They do have some descriptive pictures which can help you decide. Overall, the food that we choose was really good. I had a great experience here. The staff sat us right away. I did come close to when they opened and it wasnt many people there, but there was a couple of large family groups (7-8 people) but they still were able to keep up with our table with no problem. Our food came out fast and it was ALOT we could have definately shared it but it was soooo good and flavorful. It was even better the next day. My neighbor recommended this place and said it was the best Indian cuisine in town. I have ordered it several times and have enjoyed it each time. We made it to the restaurant at around 1030 and the closing time was 11 45 PM. But they said the kitchen would close soon and we need to order soon. Which we did, but then they kept coming back and told us they are out of biryani and then finally said kitchen is closed. We were able to eat what we ordered initially, and i understand the need to wrap up but you can't keep telling the customer that you have certain items and continue to come back and say sorry we were mistaken. I usually avoid Indian restaurants as they often don't meet my taste standards, but my wife enjoys Indian food. For our wedding anniversary, we decided to dine at Nawabi Hyderabadi House in Concord, North Carolina. We ordered goat paya with parota, non-veg thali, two masala fried fish, quail, and I also ordered a Black Label. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was subpar, with over five to six waitresses who seemed to be students without proper training or experience. I had to repeatedly ask for my drink even after the food arrived. The waitresses were inattentive, busy checking their phones and chatting among themselves. Dirty glasses and dishes were not cleared, and no one bothered to pour water or check if I needed another drink. The food quality was equally disappointing. The goat paya tasted like steamed meat with basic spices, far from what it should be. The masala fried fish was nothing like the menu picture, with a thick layer of raw masala on top. The non-veg thali had cold chicken and mutton curry. When I asked about the difference between the two chicken appetizers in the thali, the server's response was unhelpful, indicating a lack of knowledge. My wife was upset, and we decided not to return. However, last Saturday, we had an impromptu get-together with five families and decided to order takeout from Nawabi Hyderabadi House. We called around 8 PM to order Baby Corn Kothimeer appetizer, Chicken Monagadu, medium tray special chicken Vijayawada boneless biryani, medium tray veg biryani, and chicken Hakka noodles for kids, specifying medium spicy for all dishes. The person who took the order said she would call back with the price, which she did at 8:15 PM, and asked me to collect the food after 50 minutes. I left home at 8:55 PM and arrived at the restaurant at 9:10 PM to pick up the food, which was ready at the bar counter. I paid and picked up the food, but the trays were not hot or warm. When we opened the food at home, it was not even warm. I called the restaurant to give feedback, but the girl who answered argued that the food was ready by 8:30 PM and blamed me for picking it up late. I tried to explain that I was told to come after 50 minutes, but she didn't accept my feedback. She handed the phone to another guy who defended their actions, stating that my check was closed at 9:30 PM and the food was ready at 8:30 PM, hence it was cold. He promised to call back in 2 minutes, but I am still waiting for that call after three days. I don't understand how all the food was made within 15 minutes and why the restaurant didn't care enough to keep it hot or warm. This experience was frustrating, and the lack of customer care is unacceptable. I would recommend avoiding Nawabi Hyderabadi House if you want good food and service. Go somewhere else. read more

The atmosphere is clean and well lit. The service is beyond exceptional. They definitely keep up on what you need to enjoy your visit. Being used to traditional Indian food, this is a bit different. Everything is 'biryanis' which means 'with rice' I think. They have a pretty big selection to include both lamb and goat. We tried the butter chicken, Goat Dum Biryani, and Veg Dum Biryani all of which had excellent flavor. Also, they have Thums Up here which is a popular cola in India. Try it! Both items were very tasty, though I will say that biryani could be slightly more flavorful when compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. Biriyani menu is elaborate, ordered kofta biriyani and gutti vankaya fried rice but kind of disappointed with the taste. Portions are good but they charged 2$ extra on each for both the rice items as the rice bag prices increased it seems. Walking into the restaurant, there was nothing but garbage all around the entrance, gross!!! We visited this place when it first opened and we had excellent service and excellent food. We just recently went to go visit the place and we have the absolute worst experience. The waitress that sat us felt like she just did not even want to be at her job, we only got one menu while we sat down and we finally got another menu after five minutes of sitting. The water was not free and you have to pay $.20 for a bottle of Sam's Club water. My husband food came before mine and had maybe seven or eight pieces of chicken and his chicken tikka masala the non we ordered got the wrong order. The waitress refused to correct it because it was not how her system would work if we wanted to get the correct order of naan we would have to be charged for it even though that's not what we ordered. My husband's food arrived at the table. 5 minutes before mine did which I thought was pretty odd because I just got fried chicken rice Szechuan style.
