Amazing and flavorful Indian food! They were very busy on a Saturday night. I ordered my food for pickup and it was ready in time. I ordered the mild tikka masala, garlic naan and mild Punjabi samosas. The tikka masala was so flavorful, it had a little spice to it. I would order the medium next time because I like a lot of spice. The chicken was really tender and the sauce was super creamy. The garlic naan was also really good. I loved the samosas as well. My friend and I ordered the Pani Puri, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Aloo Samosa. My first time trying Pani Puri was actually here and it was life changing. We ate here for dinner while staying at the nearby Great Wolf Lodge, and easily one of the most memorable nights of our family's lives. The wait staff was so welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed right away. They made us feel at home and happily answered all our random questions about the food, drinks and other options on the menu. We ordered the noodle dish for the kids, which was very flavorful, and not spicy at all. The kids ate it up immediately when it arrived, it was so delicious. As an appetizer, they recommended the Dosas, which was also super delicious and enjoyed by both parents and kids. My spouse and I also got a Biryani and a Chicken Tikka Masala for our entrees, and were super impressed and happy with everything. The dining area had a mix of booth, private and table seating, it was very welcoming and enjoyable. We were so impressed with our meal and experience, we opted to also get dessert, some mango popsicles and a mango cake. The waiter was so nice to the kids, he even gave them a sample of the mango smoothie/pudding. We were so full in both our bellies and hearts. This place gets my highest recommendations. Still loving coming back to this place after all this time. Tonight we had the onion samosa and garlic naan for apps. I also recommend the Gobi Manchurian spicy if you like it hot. I usually go for the goat biryani and I will again but I wanted to try something different so I went for the lamb chops. A bit pricey for the serving size but man were they yummy. This place is absolutely amazing! My husband and I just left there and we had the best dinner experience! We both ordered different types of Indian curry and some garlic naan! My husband also ordered some spicy noodles and loved them! Our curries were both flavorful and filling. It felt like a hug in our bellies!!! The waitress we had was super sweet and helpful. She helped me pick out my dinner by telling me some of her personal favorites. The place was nice and clean, and decorated gorgeously!!!! Everybody who worked there was nice and friendly, smiling and they all seemed focused and happy to be there. It was so nice to go here tonight and try some new food. There is ample space for parking out front, as well as a huge dining and bar area. It was really busy when we arrived, but the host was sweet and efficient and sat us almost right away. The house special mutton curry (forgot which one) was a bit oily and salty but with the rice and yogurt it balances out. Roti was nice pan fried well. Good dinner to end the night in North Carolina! Here is why; Please please please please make it so you can put in requests of Doordash. I am a local yokel and I have ordered Biryani Pot at least 4x. I was designed with a nut allergy to my dismay. I have to live with it. So I have to call in my order. Everytime someone answers and is shocked when I say I cannot have nuts safely and I want to check. They always get the chef and I have to repeat myself and they edit the meal to be without nuts. The other issue, the food is spicy even at mild. I am okay with it but it is spicy. I want to try a medium but I also don't because I started on mild and it is a 3/5 on any other places scaling IMO. That being said, the food is really good, they are timely and friendly, and they do not mess up the orders. Even once the delivery driver forgot part of the order and they immediately called me and driver to get it. The driver never responded but I was able to get the meal from Biryani Pot. It seems there is a drastic shortage of good ethnic restaurants in this area. So, we were happy to find this one. We also got an order of garlic naan. The portions were large and we had plenty to take home with us. I have enough of mine left to make two more meals. The staff is friendly. I was taken here for Father's Day since everyone know how much I like Indian cuisine. I wasn't disappointed. We ordered an order of Chicken Korma, garlic naan, and gulab jaman. All three were excellent. The naan maybe could have been a little crispier? It was still good. The chicken korma was delicious. Gulab jaman is my favorite. We had a great experience at Biryani Pot! Delicious food plus great atmosphere (loved the Indian music) and great service! I saw a few reviews saying service took forever... we were seated immediately, had drink order taken within 5 minutes, and food order taken within 10 minutes. We also got an order of papadam that a waitress brought out for free! I got the saag paneer (entrees have rice included but not naan included). This is my all-time favorite Indian dish and I was not disappointed! It was so yummy. Delicious creamy paneer with savory spinachy saag. My friends got the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Malai Paneer, both of which were really good. All of the entrees were huge for a great price - we all had lots of leftovers to take home! I also got a Mango Lassi which was really yummy - very yogurty and tart which I like. Our waiter was very polite and prompt. He was also knowledgeable about gluten - we asked if the papadam was gluten-free and he said yes, it was made with chickpea flour. We got the remainder of our entrees to go, and I asked for an extra order of rice, which he gave to us for free! All in all, I was very impressed by the service and the amazing food.
