I frequent this place normally everything is great, however I came in tonight getting my usual buttered chicken and garlic naan. The chicken looks fine and smells fine, however the naan is molded and completely cold. It's soggy, and looks/smells disgusting

I went for the buffet and it was pretty good. I had come from a long walk and happened to pass it and stopped in. If you can eat a lot the buffet was alright for 20$ but i didn't try anything made to order. I did see some stuff go out to other tables that looked good so i would suggest going to try if you like indian food but the buffet was just alright.

I had a taste for some Indian food so I decided to stop by on a Friday for lunch. I was greeted as soon as I entered. I told the waitress that I'd never been to this restaurant in person and I wanted to take my food to go. She left to grab a to go container. I walked the buffet but didn't see what I wanted to order. There was a guy that asked if everything was ok. I told him that I wanted Methi chicken and I didn't see it. He told me that I had to order it. I said that was fine. He took my order and told me to take a seat. He explained the situation to the waitress. He returned with tea and water. There are a variety of seating available between tables and booths. There are some nice decorations on the wall and TVs hanging with music playing. Since my order was cook to order it took about 20-30 minutes to come out. I will definitely revisit, I felt well taken care of. Awesome customer service! I do not have a picture of my food because I forgot to take a picture once I got home.

This place has four stars on Yelp and after a delivery experience, I think that's exactly the perfect rating! I'll start by saying everything was great with the delivery. Delivery driver was friendly and the food got here within an hour from ordering it. The restaurant has a huge menu so lots of options. I ordered butter naan and the chicken vindaloo. The portions are MASSIVE with respect to the vindaloo. The naan portion was standard. The naan was okay. It was a little chewy. The vindaloo was good, I think, but so extremely spicy I couldn't finish it and didn't enjoy it. That's probably a reflection of me and not of the restaurant. I like spicy food but this was just over the top, in my opinion. That being said, the food was beautiful and the portions were amazing and the chicken vindaloo is probably a huge hit if you like extremely spicy food. The last thing is I wish they provided cutlery or at least had an option to request it on the ordering site. I had a spoon but I would have loved to eat this with a fork!

    Bones from the lamb curry

Great flavor! First time I had them I was blown away. Second time I was given Lamb BONE Curry. Over half the container had bones in it and was very disappointed

My visit to Persis Biryani Indian Grill is the BEST experience that I have ever had with an Indian Restaurant! At this point in my foodie journey, I will have to say, PBIG has the BEST Indian food that I have ever had! Customer Service is excellent here! Staff are so pleasant and professional. A refreshing experience! Food is excellent! Every food item that we ordered was correct, hot and fresh. Very flavorful & delicious! I ordered Gobi 65, Garlic Naan & a Taj Mahal to start. The Gobi was requested at a Spice Level of 4. It was amazing! So tasty! The naan here is light & crispy. Really good! Not chewy. For entrees, we ordered Chicken Saag, Malai Kofta & Goat Curry. Spice Levels varied but I stick with a 4 for my Chicken Saag and it was great! I love the brightness of the restaurant due to all the windows. There are booths & tables. They do serve alcohol. We will definitely return, as this is now our go to Indian Restaurant! Cannot wait to try more dishes!

Goat Pepper Fry, side of rice, and Garlic Naan

I had high hopes for this place and finally tried it since I was coming by in the hours of dinner time. I though I'd try the goat for once. Prices changed from Whomever posted the menu 9 months ago unless that was the lunch menu. Goat Pepper fry was $16.99 not $12.99. Too good to be true. It was a small portion for the price and kinda expected bones as usual. The garlic naan was like warm and not buttery. The Double ka meetha/shahi tukda was just a plain slice of bread (Great Value) in sweetened milk. Pure sogginess and about 3 pieces of nuts and 2 raisins. The bread was nasty alone and wasn't toasted. I just spooned around for the milk. I spent to much on this experience.

For Saturday we decided to have lunch at Persis Biryani Indian Grill. We went around 12:00pm for the lunch and the restaurant was empty. We were greeted by our server and by reading the menu we asked for the food recommendations. For lunch we decided to order Medhu Vada, Paneer Tikka Masala, Lacha Paratha, Persis Chicken Biryani and for drink we ordered Sweet Lassi. The service was good and we got our order in 10-15 mins. The lassi was good. The disappointment was paneer tikka masala. The gravy was thick and there were no edible masala. The biryani we ordered was recommended by the server that this is the best biryani of the restaurant but it was also okay. The food can be made better.

I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu. We loved the make your own waffle and biscuit options. My husband made his cornbread waffle with fried chicken, eggs, pimiento and bacon jam, and I made my biscuit with fried chicken, eggs, arugula, gravy, and pecan crumble. They have two locations, and we visited the Rozzelles Ferry location, which was a great choice because there was more parking available. Just a heads up--both locations get pretty busy on weekends, but the line moves quickly, so the wait isn't too bad.
