Before I say anything about the food, the atmosphere was amazing. We were greeted even before hitting the door by the owner and the team at the smoker. This is a family business, and we definitely got the feeling that we were welcome. The food blew me away. I've been lucky enough to taste brisket at some of the best BBQ joints in Texas, and Mega is on par with any of them. The trip tip was tender and full of flavor, and the hot links nice and smoky. We were also able to try a house made jalapeno and Jack sausage that will blow your mind. Did I mention the sides? Brisket chili beans, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Every single side dish was on point. I don't like my potato salad with a bunch of other stuff mixed in, and this one didn't miss. Hold up. Ever hear about Alabama sauce? Why hasn't anyone ever told me about. Alabama sauce? This concoction was delicious. A bbq sauce that's mayo based? Sign me up! You need to try it. Only thing better would've been a cold beer to wash it all down, bu then again, I probably wouldn't have left. Thanks again for the hospitality. Visiting from out of town…read more I rarely buy bbq because as a Pitmaster the best bbq for me comes from my backyard. Well, you made me feel like I was in my backyard today. This is real deal bbq. Brisket was fantastic and the flat was almost as soft as the point (google brisket flat and point if you don't know). Ribs were a perfect bite off. Tri tip was cooked was cooked to my satisfaction and the flavor was great. I ate all my Cole slaw (trust me that means something) and the beans were fire!! Everything was pleasantly smoky. I looked for something to complain about, but I got nothin. I'll be back next trip Smoke on!

The lemon bars were wonderfully rich, buttery and moist in the center with lightly crisped edges. They make the perfect dessert and are definitely great in the morning for breakfast! Her cornbread is also as amazing! My husband, daughter and I had to each get our own! The cornbread is not overly sweet and is very moist. It's the perfect in color as well- golden yellow We definitely always get her lemonade every time we see her at her events. They are sweet, delicious and very refreshing especially on hot summer days. I like the bits of purée fruit in them. The popping boba in them makes them even more fun to drink! My relatives used this business on multiple occasions. During the most recent use of their…read moreservices, the owner was more concerned with assessing the value of my family's property and land rather than moving things back to their respective places. He commented multiple times that they would be able to sell their property for hundreds of thousands of dollars and downsize to a smaller home. This was completely inappropriate, especially given that he was only there for the purposes of moving furniture. He also promised that he would come back to complete a job that he had been paid for, and then called later asking for additional money. When told that they would not be having him back to finish moving the furniture for an increased fee, he told my three 80-year-old relatives "good luck with moving the furniture ladies." Would not recommend this company's services to anyone due to the aforementioned predatory behavior and complete lack of professionalism. *edit: I wanted to to add that my relatives followed up with a different moving service based out of Tulare and they were quoted and charged a third of the price that Jimmie wanted to charge them for the same job; $600 instead of the $1800 that they were quoted by Jimmie prior to him attempting to increase the fee for service.

In your is sent to your email. You can also add eggs, bread, chocolate, coffee, mushrooms and other high quality goods and the cost is just added to your bill. If you need to go on vacation you can easily pause your box for a set amount of time and resume when you wish. The veggies are very fresh and high quality. You receive a wide range of seasonal produce. This week there were collard greens, mandarins, navel oranges, onions, gold potatoes, beets with greens attached, leek, cabbage and shallots. This is a tremendous service; they have even started offering home delivery for an additional fee. If you recommend someone there is a reward system in place. Great!

Ooooby Fresno is a Community Supported Agriculture service…read more CSAs allow you to have direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally by regional farmers. When you become a member of a CSA, you're purchasing a "share" of vegetables from those farmers. As a CSA, Ooooby has been around for many years under a different name; they are now called "Ooooby" which stands for Out of Our Own Backyard because all of the produce is local. Some of their produce comes from as far away as San Benito or Monterey counties, but that's about as far as your produce is going to come from, which I think is really cool. You can can choose from a variety of sizes of boxes - Small, Medium, and Oooober and choose whether to get your box every week or every other week. You replenish your account the week before a delivery is due. When you know you'll be out of town or need a break, you can schedule a "pause" and you won't receive or be billed for that week's delivery. Before, each box came with set contents and you are notified of the box contents and add-ons for the week on the Thursday before your delivery. At that point, you could swap out one or two items if you know, for instance, that you don't like beets. (Side note, if you don't like beets, try peeling them, cutting into quarters, drizzle with olive oil and lil salt and roast them - they are delish!) Ooooby also posts a list of the produce and other products that are offered that week and you can add additional items to your box. These are called add-ons - I LOVE add-ons! because the extras include a bouquet of herbs or locally roasted coffee beans or teas or Enzo olive oil and Mama Mia par-baked pizza crusts - so yumm!! When your box arrives, there is a sheet, on one side listing the items in your box and a note from Ooooby about what's going on right now, and on the other side are two recipes that use box contents and a tip or note on how to care for box contents, for instance, how best to keep parsley in your fridge.
