Broilers used to have another location closer to my house that unfortunately closed, and I'm still not over it. I seriously wish they would open another franchise nearby because I love this place so much I would probably eat it for lunch every single day. Then again... maybe it's a good thing it's not right next to my house for that exact reason. Their chicken and garlic sauce simply can't be beat. I don't know what kind of magic they're putting into their food or what their secret is, but it is so good. Everything is flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what you want when you're craving a solid lunch. This is definitely one of my go-to lunch spots when I'm in the area. We used to love this place but they got lazy and cheap! we ordered DoorDash from here and I ordered the chicken plate and she ordered the pita wrap. Right away when the food arrive we knew there was a problem. The Peter wrap came apart as soon as we folded the foil that wrapped. Not only that the pita bread itself was old and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. The chicken plate was a joke. They actually piled a bunch of shredded chicken that was super dry on top of extra lettuce to make it look like I got a bunch of chicken. But that wasn't the case and unfortunately, I got cheated out of some chicken. to make matters worse when you complain the DoorDash instead of refunding you the full meal, they only give you 10 bucks back after you spent over $45 for a dinner. This is a shame restaurants are doing this more often when they are skipping back on the food and the material when it's through DoorDash and then DoorDash does not hold them accountable. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by our recent ordering experience from The Broilers based on their yelp rating. We ordered chicken schwarmas and fries, they were still warm and tasty by the time they reached our house. The chicken portion was quite generous and their garlic sauce definitely added a lot of flavor, with some hot sauce it's even better. Visited this location of The Broilers on Labor Day, in the afternoon, and I was so pleased! There were two workers in the back with the food, and one up front, Tiffany, who really showed that she took pride in her job. She was cordial, welcoming, walked out food to customers, continually swept and cleaned in between customers, and thanked me for coming. What else can you ask for? The food was all fresh and lovely! Tabouli was moist, flavorful and also had appropriate textures. Pilaf was piping hot and fresh, hummus was awesome, and I have to say that the pita has drastically improved since past visits. Before, it would come out rolled in a foil, then if you did not eat it right away, it would harden. Today, my pita was brought to me warm and flat. It tasted better as well! The pickled radishes, tomatoes, fresh romaine, peppers, and garlic sauce all make a tantalizing explosion of flavor happiness in your mouth! This is one of my to go places if I want some quick Mediterranean food . My favorite is the Haav shawarma. I see some people don't seem to like it however for the price I think it's pretty good and lots of options for vegan to beef livers to chicken. They have indoor and outdoor seating . The staff is pretty friendly and the line moves pretty fast . As for the ambiance I guess it's ok nothing too special . read more

I haven't been in a while but the dressing seemed like it was missing something today and my pita bread was hard by the time I unwrapped it from the foil and opened my garlic sauce. I've been to Broilers before & usually enjoy the food, but today's experience left me genuinely confused. I ordered a Greek salad and simply asked for the tomatoes on the side nothing complicated. I was told that the owner, Tommy, doesn't allow any side items anymore. What?? No substitutions, no customizations, not even separating ingredients within the same dish? The part that really doesn't make sense is that they do give salad dressing on the side, so clearly side items can be done. Why draw the line at tomatoes? It feels arbitrary and unaccommodating, especially for folks with dietary preferences or sensitivities. The food was okay, but the lack of flexibility and vague "no sides allowed" policy left a bad taste in my mouth. A little customer service and common sense would go a long way. read more

Craving a salad for dinner. Husband introduced me to broilers years ago since he used to work for them many moons ago and we've been going together on and off over years. Loved that he knows the ins and outs of the menu so he would always order for me. Surprised to say this is my first time at this location. They now have a self ordering kiosk which was what we used when we ordered. My husband got a chicken and beef plate. I ordered half a beef salad. Our order came out fairly quick. Large portioned and everything was so delicious and very filling. Plenty of sauces was given. The beef was so tender and flavorful. Everything always comes out so delicious when we get broilers. Prices has increased over the years but the food quality has stayed the same IMO. Cravings were satisfied!!! The workers were very nice and the place was clean. Let me start by saying that the food is very good. We eat there at least 3 times a month!! Fresh and tasty. The one thing that I dread at this restaurant is the poor air circulation in the restaurant. We always love to eat inside but after we leave the restaurant our clothes, hair and everything smell greasy. I think the hood is not working properly. I am familiar with restaurant equipment. I never leave bad reviews, but I have also never been treated more poorly as a paying customer. I came in and purchased a large salad and a chicken plate to go. I got all the way home and they had left out my salad dressing and given me two whole wheat pita ( and I thought they gave two per order). After going back, I went up to the female employee working and said that they had forgotten my dressing. She placed the dressing container down aggressively and just looked back at me. I asked her questions about the pita and she just acted like I was trying to get free food. She became super condescending and when I told her she was being rude, she told me that I needed to leave the establishment because I was being rude to her. She then told me I was entitled. I paid $30 for this food and had to make two trips to their store, only to be treated like a criminal over pita bread. While the food was just as good as normal, no paying customer should be treated this way, especially when it was their error in the first place. read more

It's a shame how far this restaurant has fallen. Today, I stopped in for lunch. The pita was so stale, after it was cool (not straight from the grill) it was so hard, it was inedible. The boyfriend and I came to the Broilers in December 2019. I was craving hummus, mostly a cilantro hummus. My dude informed me that the Broilers has pretty good hummus so I took his word for it. We arrived around closing time and I got the chicken plate. The dude got the beef plate. Everything was very flavorful and tasty. However, the hummus was so underwhelming! It was so runny that it was not hummus. It had good flavor but I really like the good thick hummus consistency it has. We also got dessert which was pretty good. Semi sweet, crunchy and delicious. I can never say the name but it was good. The staff was friendly and nice. It was pretty good Mediterranean food "to go" but I prefer the mom and pop ones which are more authentic. What a disappointment this place is. The food is always cold or they run out of items. I sent back falafel 3 times because it was cold as bricks. The cook on the 3rd time just put it back in the fryer to heat it up. It was soaked in oil and burnt tasting. Unfortunately I had already tipped them or I wouldn't have. The soda machine they said was broken sounded like out of co2. There was a very limited amount of bottled drinks offered. Also no receipt was offered. So I really have no idea if I was even charged correctly. The workers were nice and the order came pretty quickly. It was really nice to sit out on the patio and have lunch. Split the meal. The entire meal tasted fresh and delicious! The chicken and beef tasted really good. It came with rice pilaf, garlic sauce, hummus, salad and pita bread. We also ordered the falafels. That was something different to try and it was all good! I had a terrible experience at your NW Clovis store. I placed an order over the phone and showed up 49 minutes later to it still not complete. On top of that the cooks and staff were talking smack about customers including myself in Spanish. I can fluent in Spanish so I understood it when they called me "China".
