The technician, David, didn't return a single phone call, the the techs would put right flake , and both visits ended without fixing the issue. No updates, no communication, no professionalism whatsoever. I had to chase down information myself just to figure out what was even happening. On top of that, David was rude and dismissive, offering no solutions or explanations. This company does not care about the customer at all. David was great to work with and very fast and swift service! We came home from a weekend trip and my wife overloaded the washer with all the dirty clothes. Our LG washer threw a LE code for motor locked. I reset it and it subsequently gave us UE code for being unbalanced and wasted A LOt of water every wash! Long story short, I found Hye Tech appliance as a listed servicer from official LG website. Called the number and David answered immediately. I told him the symptoms and gave us a very reasonable quote for diagnosis. Came in the next day and worked on our washer first thing in the morning! He found a baby sock stuck in the motor area and gave us another reasonable quote for fixing it. We gave him the ok and it's all done! Our washer was fixed in one morning. David worked his magic again with my LG 4-door fridge. The compressor died over the weekend while I was away (of course). David came over to diagnose it on the same day that I called (Tuesday). He needed to order the compressor, which was still under limited warranty, and warned me that he might not receive it until Friday. Excellent job! My LG washer leaked from underneath this weekend. After doing a basic process of elimination, we were still puzzled to what caused the leak. Hopped on the LG website for service and gave Hye Tech Appliance a call. I left a voice mail message at around 9am, got a prompt call back 20 minutes later, and David was at the house by 1:30pm. While he was here, he checked my washer and showed my how the agitator is broken, it needed a $2 part. It would be easy for a repair person to say my washer dryer set is so old it will need major, expensive repairs. But, not Davit! Davit, is very knowledgeable and was able to repair my LG LFXS30766S refrigerator. It took some time to get the right parts, several of which he was able to warranty for no cost. The cost for labor and refrigerant was high but that has a lot to do with inflation and he is basically the only person doing this work. Because he is an army of one, getting on his schedule can also take some time, but be patient because he will get it fixed and it will certainly be cheaper than purchasing a new appliance. He wore a mask and was very friendly. He also did not charge for labor after the initial repair did not solve the problem, so he has integrity and honesty, which is the most important thing second to skill in my book. Will definitely use him again if needed and would recommend him to my friends and family. read more

Thanks for nothing, Hye Tech. The compressor on my LG fridge failed in early July. I fiddled with it for about a week before giving up and calling Hye Tech on July 18. An appointment was set up for July 26 when the tech came out and told me that yes, the compressor had failed, the repair was covered under an extended LG warranty, and an appointment would be made for a tech to come out and fix it. After that, I heard nothing! Today, August 16, three weeks to the day since the original appointment, I called Hye Tech and was told "We can't help you. The tech is allergic to your cats. Call LG." Mind you, no one from Hye Tech had bothered to call or email me but wait, it gets worse. Per Hye Tech's instruction, I called LG, and as Gomer Pyle used to say "Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!" LG didn't know what I was talking about. Hye Tech hadn't bothered to bring them into the loop either. Anyway, LG couldn't have been nicer. They even facilitated an appointment for the repair. So, thanks LG, and again, thanks for nothing Hye Tech. It must be nice to have so much business that you don't have to give a damn about your customers. read more

My LG washer suddenly acted as if it did not have power, did the troubleshooting tips according to the manual, no luck. called Hye Tech and left a msg, they called me back within a half hour.
