Best Appliance did a good job of communicating once the freezer door was at their office. They called several times to make sure the appointment was scheduled. They even called to say they could squeeze me in a day earlier if it worked with my schedule. Their technician, Jay, arrived about 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment block. They took their shoes off before entering. They laid down fabric and things to protect the floor. They finished replacing the door in about 20 minutes. Super efficient! read more

Our dual fuel slide in range by Kitchen aide displayed and error code indicating a fan was not working and needed replacement. The part would have to be ordered. Before Eric left he checked the orfices on the gas burners and attached the downdraft duct that was not securely attached and asured us everything was working properly except for the oven of course. The following week Eric and Charles installed and tested the new fan and it is working great. I appreciate the professionalism and expertise Eric displayed. Best Appliance came out to my house and told me I needed a new Sealed System (compressor, condenser, evaporator, etc.) on my SubZero freezer. I told them I had just installed a new Sealed System several months before. They insisted and wanted over $3,000. I had just paid $1,500 for the new sealed system. I had another company come out and told me everything was fine except for the Control Board. I installed a new board and it works fine. Their sales pitch about a new Sealed System is a scam. On 8/16/24, a service person named Casey came to my house and fixed a leak from my subzero frig that was creating a pool of water. I asked about paying him and he said it's covered under the warranty. Okay, cool, I guess. Later that day, I get two emails from best appliance. One says my receipt is attached (and there is no request for payment) and the other has a link to e-ticket (also has no mention of any money there). Fast forward EIGHT MONTHS and best appliance sends me a letter in the mail about a final notice for payment that is overdue. They threaten to send me to collections if I do not pay. I never received a single email, call, or letter requesting payment over the 8 months but now it's overdue?! What in the literal F?!?! I write them an email back explaining the situation but get no reply. Today, I decided to call them and spoke to Dan, one of their managers. Dan claimed they sent me two texts requesting payment. FALSE!! They sent me a text asking if I wanted to subscribe to best appliance texts but there was no mention of any payment due and no, of course I don't want to subscribe to yet another company potentially bombarding me with texts. I forwarded Dan the "receipt" and e-tickets emails I received on 8/16/24 and he said that wasn't even the correct job number and it was for a completely different customer. I paid my bill over the phone with Dan. Wow! All around, absolutely terrible! Expect some disorganization, poor record keeping, potentially leaking your information to the wrong customer, and you may receive threatening letters from them (8 months later) if you do business with them. Dishwasher still had problems stopping intermittently after the service appointment. I called back to let them know they needed to come back out to look at it again. It took several days for them to return my call, but the manager himself called me back to get me on calendar quickly (next day). The 2nd repair guy (Frank) was also very punctual, which I greatly appreciated. I had requested he call ahead to say he was on his way, which he did, but bc it was from an unknown #, my phone sent him straight to voicemail, so I missed it. (That was my bad, but luckily I was home, so no harm no foul.) Frank was able to spot an issue with the part on the back of the middle rack. It was not sliding up and down easily like it was supposed to, causing a misalignment, so that the middle rack was getting in the way of the door closing smoothly (or staying closed during cycles). The part has been adjusted to get us by for now, and a new part is being ordered. Thank you, Frank, for being so diligent with the troubleshooting! Jay their service repair guy accidentally broke the left bottom rail of my freezer while replacing the defroster. No big deal. But then after, their Service Manager made excuses over the next 3 months of why they couldn't fix it. Said he couldn't get the part from Bosch. B.S. Dennis to the rescue again! Our Thermador dishwasher was displaying an error code and when I looked up the code on the Thermador website, I was directed to call for repair. Best appliance is listed as one of their recommended service providers in our area but I was hesitant. I had a very negative experience with another technician that Best Appliance sent out to our home to repair our dryer just 7 months prior. Rather than write a bad review here, I sent an email to the company explaining my frustration and disappointment with the service provided in November. I never received a reply to that email and decided I would take my service elsewhere going forward. I called another trusted service provider in the area (who ultimately repaired our dryer in November for a more affordable rate than quoted by BA) and asked if he could repair the dishwasher. Over the phone he told me he wishes he could help me but it wasn't his area of expertise and that I should use one of the Thermador recommended providers. So I reluctantly called Best Appliance. When I spoke with the intake representative I asked for someone other than the service man that came in November and I asked for the person who had previously provided service on our kitchen appliances. She told me it would be a longer wait but that she would send Dennis. The minute she said the name I remembered him and agreed to the week long wait (the reason I am removing a star from this review- they should hire more people like Dennis for shorter wait time). So glad we waited. Dennis is patient and thorough and always very knowledgeable. He is respectful of our home and conscientious about the cost of repair. He helped me process the value of doing the repair versus replacing the appliance. In the end we opted to repair and he had us operating as normal in less than 45 minutes. The service person asked me immediately to initial for the inspection upon walking in the door, and the minute i signed it, informed me that the stove was much to old and most parts would not be obtainable. They clearly knew this ahead of time, but opted to wait to share this. I see in reviews further down, that some techs have called ahead and let their would be customers know this and gave them an opportunity to cancel the service call. I called regarding a small freon leak in my refrigerator, and a water leak from my ice maker. I was told that they would have to upgrade my system to the "new" freon. When the tech (Dennis) arrived he proceeded to suggest that not only would he want to replace the freon and all the copper components, but he would also want to replace the thermostat, the cooling fan,. etc. What I had been given as an "estimate" over the phone increased radically with his visit. I asked if he was going to check what the ice maker water leak would entail. He said that his paperwork said nothing about the water leak. I indicated the water stained hardwood floor at the left front of the freezer. He then looked underneath with a flashlight and said that there was something on the back that was probably the cause. He then opened the freezer and turned on the ice maker. I told him that the water supply was off and went downstairs to turn it on. When I returned upstairs, he had the ice maker partially apart and water sprayed into the freezer compartment. He said that the maker itself was the problem and added it to the estimate. After his departure I was thinking that it made no sense that a leak inside the freezer would ever reach the floor, nor had there ever been any evidence of a leak inside the freezer. I emailed the tech Dennis) and asked about this on Aug 13th. I received no response. I tried again after the weekend, and no response to this date. I have hired Best Appliance to repair my refrigerator now 2 times over the years. They were recommended to me initially by the store where I purchased. Both Christina and Reagan, the phone staff, have always been, kind, patient and reassuring. My first introduction, in 2019, for repair, was an extremely knowledgeable man named Dennis. He identified and addressed my fridge problem immediately. Because of his skill, knowledge base and efficiency, I noted his name in my contacts to request in the future. The future arrived two weeks ago when I heard a whining sound from a 5yr old fridge. I called Best Appliance and requested Dennis, but was told he was too busy and they sent another from their staff. He identified my Freon needed to be replaced and did so. However, a 1/2hr after he completed this 2 and 1/2hr task the fridge exhibited a new non-stop knocking sound. It was loud and annoying to say the least. I called back Best and requested Dennis. I suspected because this knocking sound developed right after the Freon exchange, something had not been properly addressed. Dennis dropped by and identified the sound due to prior service person putting too much Freon in and identified an open line that should have been capped off. As a result, there was frost accruing inside the fridge mechanism. Dennis decreased the Freon level, capped the open line, recharged the unit and thankfully the knocking sound ceased :) I highly recommend Best Appliance and encourage anyone calling to request Dennis. He is extremely skilled and very knowledgable for which I am very grateful. We had a Sub Zero refrigerator installed on 1-3-23. When the installers from another business put in our new refrigerator, they told us they could not get the water & ice-maker working. They reported the information to the business they work for & we were referred to Best Appliance. We were initially given an appointment for Best Appliance to come for the repair on Tuesday, 1-10-23. On the morning of Wednesday, 1-4-23, we found the refrigerator was not cooling, the freezer was not working & meat was beginning to thaw. We were in panic mode as we had hundreds of dollars, if not a thousand, in meat now defrosting in our freezer. We were able to move our appointment with Best Appliance from Tuesday, 1-10-23 to Friday, 1-6-23. We had to purchase a new garage freezer in the meantime or throw out our freezer full of meat. Raphael came first thing yesterday, 1-6-23, and determined the refrigerator was still in demo mode as it had been a floor model. Raphael was awesome. We appreciate him coming out & figuring out there was nothing wrong with our refrigerator. It just needed to be changed from demo mode. This appliance repair company is the worst! Anyone would be better served by ANY other company. I used them in June 2023 for a dishwasher repair. I had never used them before. They came out however missed the arrival time window. Tech was slow and dismissive. Diagnosed problem as a module and ordered the part. He stated they would call when the part came in. I waited a couple weeks and had not heard anything so I called them and again and was met with apathy and excuses. The part finally came in and I had to wait another week for the repair. The tech again was later than the agreed arrival time. He looked at the part and realized that he had ORDERED THE WRONG PART! So this process had to start all over with no apology by him or the office and again just total apathy. I asked the tech if they don't check the parts when they come in to make sure it's correct and he said that they don't have time for that! Yet they have time to drive to your house to realize they have the wrong part! It makes no sense to me. Just very poor business and no management. So I had to wait again for the part to come in. When it finally did and they called for the appt. I had to wait another week for the appt. I asked because of the hassle and mistake before if they could expidite the service call they said no. So I spoke to Dan and he again was not apologetic or concerned and just said no. So they fixed the dishwasher and I was determined to never use this company again. However fast forward a year later now the refigerator bins under warranty were not operating properly. Because it is a built in refrigerator and due to the model the other two companies I really like and have had great service with, which are Lake appliance and Microwave Oven and Appliance Repair could not do it. So I reluctantly called them. They came out with the same apathy and long wait times etc. but did replace two of the soft close refrigerator bins. However one of them was still not closing properly. The technician said that I will now have to call the manufacturer! Really?? So I let it go. Now on this Monday I called them because of a leaking refrigerator in my rental property. Again I called because that it is a refrigertor and due to the manufacturer my options were extremely limited. I made an appt for that Wednesday and made all the arrangements with my tenant. My tenant stayed home from work to be there. Well they never showed up. I called that evening and left a message with no return call. So I called that morning and spoke with Dan who said he had no record of me calling and scheduling an appointment. So he said he would call me back that the girl that took the call Christina was on break. So he called me back 45 minutes later to let me know that I was flagged so my appointment was cancelled! He said do to the dishwasher repair issue. I told him that they had already been out to my house for another repair 1 year after that. Dan just said that they could not service me. Thank you Dan and Best Appliance for doing me a huge favor! So this company does not even have the decency to at a minimum let me know they were not coming or to let my tenant know as they had her information. It could have been deliberate (very possible) or a mistake as this company is not well managed at all and doesn't know the first thing about good customer service. As usual no apology again for wasting my time or my tenants time. Now I have lost 4 business days in getting the refrigerator fixed. Their attitude is that they are doing YOU the favor by taking your money and you should feel lucky if they choose to take your money. Wow! This company and their attitude is rock bottom! So be warned fellow consumers! Unless you fit their agenda of not expecting good customer service they will do the same thing to you. The attitude of this company is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. I can guarantee you they do not appreciate your business!!! There are too many other companies out there that do. We had a problem with our Thermador freezer (worse customer service ever). So they had Best Appliance come and check it. The service person told us compressor was not working and the fan was hitting the ice at the back of freezer and making noise. So, after ordering parts, the came and changed those. But now our ice maker stopped working. So, we told them and they said they ordered parts. They came and changed that too and we were told it's now working. But after a day or 2 nothing. So, we called them back but this time, they told us to go and call Thermador. I'm like you messed up. Either come and fix it or you call Thermador and explain what needs to be done. An employee called back later that morning, and was friendly and helpful in scheduling an appointment for the following morning and explaining what would happen and the name of the technician coming. Spent $139 on the service fee, but our fridge still leaked, and we were told over the phone if they sent out a technician again, they would charge us additional for the parts and labor and that's on top of the $139 we already spent. We decided to hire another River City Appliance and they sent a guy out and fixed it, and the problem had nothing to do with what the Best Appliance guy thought it was, nor was it anything related to other problems he thought it might be. And River City needed to send their guy out again, they would deduct the parts and labor from the $125 service fee they charged us the first time instead of on top of, which was much more reasonable. read more

I was relieved to learn that Best Appliance is an authorized servicer of Bosch apppliances whether under warranty or not. Casey came out right away and very quickly identified the problem as a faulty inverter. He made sure the part was ordered and came back within days to install it. When the door to our built-in microwave broke, I dreaded calling the home warranty company because the last time they dispatched a contractor the service was less than desirable. To my pleasant surprise, Best Appliance was assigned our case and I could tell right away from the call to book the appointment that we were dealing with a professional company. Our appointment was set and as promised, Jay called before he arrived and was here within the service window. Jay was confident, competent, and courteous. This is the worst Bosch repair company. This person Dan, claims to be the general manager is the worst. He has zero, if not negative, customer etiquette. He doesn't want to listen to you and after conversation slams his phone. I purchased a home with Bosch appliances. I bought a refrigerator separately to match my kitchen appliances. 16 months down the ice maker starts giving issues. After searching, this company comes up as nearest Bosch repair agency. Call them up on 3/24/2023 and scheduled an appointment to have a technician to come and look at it. They guy arrives on time. Without anything tells me that the control board is faulty and is a known issue. Gives me a parts and labor quote of $535.69. I pay the amount by check and ask to get scheduled immediately. A day later Dan calls me to schedule a repair time for the Saturday of same week. I tried having a conversation with him that the appliance is fairly new and Bosch should backup their product. Is the anything he could do as a certified agent. This conversation went south and sour faster than speed of light. His tantrum and accusations were so intense that I was lost of words. Slams the phone on me. I call Bosch and explain my grievance, they agreed to pay for parts. Call this company, got Bosch to send them paper work and everything. Dan promised me a refund on parts of just over $200. Technician does the repair. All is good for 2 days. Same error. Called them and now they want more money. Unfortunately, I get Dan again. Uncomfortable conversation. Slams the phone on me again. I call Bosch again and they were happy to foot the whole bill for the ice box swap out. Ask them about known control board issue, they told me they was no such issue. I have to pay for first repair. I take it as fair. Call them back again and got all paperwork sorted out. Technician arrives 1 whole hour late from the schedule window. No call from this company to update me that the technician will be late. Moving forward. After a few weeks no refunds sent to me. I call their accounts team. Spoke with Kelly on 5/5/2022. Kelly tells me that she need to speak with the general manager Dan and will send me the check same day if nothing else. Otherwise will give me a call same day. Nothing in my mailbox no call back. I decided to call them back on 5/22/2023. Guess who I get on the phone, Dan! Demeaning conversation. Tells me that he notates everything and he has no notation on the transaction. I should stop taking him down the rabbit hole and there's nothing to talk about. After a very difficult conversation, he agreed to talk to Kelly when she is back from vacation next week. Will update here when or if they call me back next week. I am going to call Bosch and update them on my experience with this company and I suggest everyone who deals with this difficult company to update the vendor so we are not stuck with this company being the only company to provide repair services to these brands. read more
