Our dishwasher was not draining properly causing a Fault Code. We were able to get serviced the very next day with Sunrise Appliance Repair which was great. The line was snaked and dishwasher began operating properly again for a COUPLE of days. After the same problem kept reoccurring, I am now doing my best self-help with it until I decide to trust someone else. My feeling was that the line needed to either be actually cleaned thoroughly or replaced, the airgap definitely needs to be replaced, and the dishwasher motor area likely needed to be cleaned out. The service given was the bare-bones minimum effort a repairman could offer. The price quote was the same as others, but I would be willing to bet someone else would have at least dealt with the airgap. Arsen was that tech, super knowledgeable and worked efficiently, explaining everything along the way. Reasonably priced, especially given that instead of being able to order the one failed part (freezer fan motor) an entirely new assembly needed to be purchased. She offered to send a tech out immediately, but I ask asked if she could arrange a time later in the day, 12:00 to 3:00. She did that, and the tech arrived right on time at 12:00. So I have a Samsung fridge that stopped cooling but the freezer still worked. So I called Sunrise and they sent a tech out. He figured out what the problem was in five minutes! It had ice built up between the fridge walls and cold air could not circulate through it to cool. Luckily he had the right equipment and had to steam out the ice. Took a while but he did a great job and got it working again. He also told me Samsung fridges are notorious for having this problem. He's not rude, he's just focused on the task at hand. He pretty much told me to let him do his work, which I agreed and left him to it. He quickly diagnosed all three of my appliance's. With my fridge, he told me pretty much I should get another one. He could have charged me lots to fix it but he has the customers best interest in mind.
