UNit went out Friday night came right away on Saturday and was flexible with my Saturday schedule, even though for us it was kind of an emergency because I have a small infant, we had already made plans for brunch with a friend from out of town, and they worked with us. My unit went out when the temperatures were still dropping significantly at night. Not only did the technician replace the amp that went out, but I also had a smart thermometer/thermostat that I wanted to have installed but had not made an appointment for he was able to do both very efficiently and I would say in about an hour and a half. This also included allowing me to paint behind the new thermostat so that the wall paint matched. I feel like this appointment was one of the most efficient. Requested service close to 8PM on a Saturday night since my kitten got stuck between the dishwasher and the cabinet through a hole that no one knows ever existed. The customer service lady helped me connect with the HVAC technician Alec and he generously offerred to help even outside of regular business hour for free. Alec showed up within 20 minutes and quickly took out the dishwasher and helped us caught the kitten that was so scared (she has been stuck in there for 8 hours). Paul was excellent! Came and looked everything over. We didn't really figure out exactly what was causing the problem but we got it working. My system is so old it's hard to even find troubleshooting advice online, but Paul pieced it together and systematically went through and checked things until it was running again. He didn't try to up sale me but did offer to put together a quote for a new system. That'll give me something to save for. Had issues with no flow to two of my rooms. Requested someone to come out and verify that my system and ducting were all good to go.
