Brand new 2026 Raptor, spent well over $100k to have the car brought to Arizona etc in perfect condition with no rock chips or any damages etc. i did a complete inspection piece by piece before bringing it to Hyer Quality Detail for a detail. All for them to scratch it while cleaning and ruining my leather. Dealership quoted me $2600 before tax just for the lower section of my seat. Hyer denied that this was his staff (as most owners would) but i know this wasn't there before the detail. Ultimately ended up in him saying he has a guy who can repair it and make it look like new but that's beside the fact that this is a BRAND NEW TRUCK with 0 MILES on it. And now I'm sitting here having to worry about getting an aftermarket repair on my brand new truck. Not very happy. I've recommended my own employees to this shop too and tons of friends. Unfortunately it's looking like this is no longer a trusting option with all their recent employee changes etc. they're not what it used to be. I tend to avoid paying for detailing, except when brand new, but had recently purchased an older Benz that needed a refresh and had a year old BMW XM that I DID pay to have "profesionally" detailed, Ceramic coated, etc. when I bought it a year ago. The BMW, unlike past experiences, never seemed that thoroughly done and despite the cost was more like a quick ceramic coating with zero paint correction, and never looked as I hoped. That was "another well known local detailer", to remain unnamed. Instant availability at HQE, booked both cars. STELLAR. Even my random odd extra requests "absolutely, can do that too". Kept adding more, done. BMW is back to PERFECTION, flawless PPF, flawless tint, and even knocked it out of the park with slick glass feeling every surface...and even matte PPF'ing my interior screen. The Benz? Old and didn't need much, but SMELLED better, fixed almost every imperfection, and refreshed on point. I would avoid doing business with a shop that has been incredibly deceptive and dishonest. I met with Jackson to discuss applying ppf to the front bumper and hood of a toyota supra. After agreeing to the quote that he gave me, I made an appointment to get the car wrapped 2 weeks later. On the evening before the appointment, I received a call from Jackson saying that the price had to be increased due to the size of the hood. Feeling deceived, I canceled the appointment. I got a call from the owner shortly after and he made the excuse that Jackson was a new employee that did not know how to quote prices correctly. Based on their social media, Jackson has been employee since at least December 2024, so the owner lied to me. I find it hard to believe that an employee who had been working there for well over a year could not accurately quote a car that they supposedly worked on many times before. The least they could have done was adjust the quote and inform me shortly after my initial appointment with them instead of the night before the car was supposed to be wrapped. Don't waste your time with a shop that will try to squeeze you for more money at the last minute. I was fooled by the overwhelmingly positive reviews that do not accurately reflect how unprofessional and shady this shop is. Check the 1-star reviews before giving them a second of your time. read more

I brought in a new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4xe for ceramic coating. I did a lot of research and Hyer Quality Detail had the best price I found, and is 10 minutes from my house. I got the bronze package which comes with a three year warranty. When I brought the car in it has a few hundred miles and since it is white they said it would not need paint correction. The paint does have some orange peeing and I believed this would get resolved in their prep but did not. The ceramic coating looks good except there are fine line scratches in the piano black pillars and chrome. I asked before the ceramic coating was applied and was told they would be polished. I brought the car back for an inspection and first wash and they said they would look at it but ended up giving me the car back in the same condition. The ceramic coating isn't bad but I'm going to have to take the car somewhere else to get polished properly and this corrected. I just purchased my wife a 2022 E450 and am going to have someone else ceramic coat that vehicle. Not a bad job, but not what I would use if you are ocd about your car like me. read more
