Steve is usually the person I work with, and he has always been fantastic to deal with. The team is incredibly transparent throughout the entire process and takes the time to show videos and pictures of anything they recommend for your vehicle. What I appreciate most is that they never use pressure or scare tactics to push unnecessary repairs. They're honest, straightforward, and truly treat you like family instead of just another customer walking through the door. I appreciated the provision of a nice loaner car, with no hassle getting it. I booked my appointment the day before and drove in early next morning, cautiously, with an engine overheat warning "pull over in safe place" flashing on my dash. They knew this. I arrived opening time 8am. No one contacted me the entire day(!) with a diagnosis/ cost estimate or update of any kind; I was not aware my car would be kept overnight. At 4:50pm, ten minutes before close, I telephoned and was told $2,400(!), it might take 3 days/ 2 nights in the shop. I asked for a detailed estimate and for the second time, gave my email. Still, an estimate was not sent.... That cost estimate was high compared to other mechanics. Standard customer service for an early morning "drop-off" (advance appt.): contact customer by 3pm that day, explain repair, provide a cost estimate for approval. Start work right away, priority to finish if a second day. That did not happen. Nobody seemed to care if it did. For a $200 repair, no big deal- but for $2,000/ 3 days in the shop, IT MATTERS. PRO A loaner car while being repaired repaired with OEM car parts skilled diagnosis of Toyota 24month/ 24,000 mile parts warranty CON left me hanging on diagnosis, repair cost no written description/estimate provided high price compared to competition (corrected at the end) no apology for dropping the ball on service In the end, the actual charge was $1,821.97 which was in line with local estimates, considering the use of OEM parts. I appreciated that adjustment. And it appears they did quality work. Time will tell. Will I go back? Probably not. Lacked valuing me as a high-dollar customer; too much time and drama.

Somehow I go at a good time because I bring a book to read and it is very rare I get any reading done of more than a chapter. For me this location is very convenient which is a nice plus. Know the law and what is required to pass inspection before you get a State Inspection done here…read more I took my vehicle in for a NC State Inspection. A technician removed the rear wiper, brought it to me in the waiting area, and told me the inspection failed because of a tear in the rear wiper blade and wanted to sell me a new wiper. When I told him that NC inspection does not include the rear wipers, he insisted that it did. He didn't back down until I asked him to show me the requirement in the law, which he couldn't do. NC Statute specifies only that all "windshield" wipers that clear the windshield in front of the driver must be in working order. No other window locations or wipers are addressed. This was clearly a case of trying to sell an overpriced rear wiper and justifying it by lying about the inspection requirements. Also, the technician had no business removing any part of my vehicle that I had not asked him to. In the end, my vehicle passed inspection. I added 1 star to my rating because the technician who greeted me and brought the car out when it was done was very friendly and polite.

The mechanic said they didn't even put that on the courtesy inspection because all of the focus was on the headlight. So who's telling the truth here? I just said the timing is fishy and left because they had a look on their face not knowing why I would be upset. To sum it up, I didn't have check engine light. 3 hrs later after I picked up my car from this place, check engine light came on. It could be coincidence but extremely suspicious. Only thing they put on the urgent list was tire tread, nothing about engine misfire. I chose this place due to good reviews but it was a mistake as I'm just going to take my car to dealership.

They quoted me $990 for the job. I wanted a second opinion so I called Firestone. Over the phone they quoted me $696.91. I brought my car in and when they looked at it, they discovered I didn't really need new rear brakes (6 mm of rubber left) and the rotors were just a bit rusty and could be re-surfaced. They told me to wait on the rears and do them later. I went ahead and had them replace the front brakes for just $180. It was such a relief to save all that money! Their service is excellent and I really appreciated their honesty. I highly recommend this Firestone location and will definitely be back when its time to replace my rear brakes.
