My 2015 Subaru Forester was making a strange noise. We took it to Janko Import Cars for a diagnosis. I wasn't sure they even worked on Subarus because that brand wasn't listed on the web site. Jan has decades of experience in the business and always takes the time to show me exactly what's going on, and discusses my options. When I needed a car working by a deadline I once found him in the shop by himself on a Sunday with parts neatly laid out on a table putting my engine back together. The mechanics were all home for the weekend, and he was there at 10AM Sunday making sure my car got done in time. Jan, the president, is hard working, experienced, and extremely knowledgeable, especially about Mercedes cars. After calling and confirming in the morning if they were free, they told me to come right in that morning, serviced my car thoroughly and charged reasonable labor rates. Also, unlike many other independents, this one only uses OEM parts. His wife Liz is sweet but he is a bit more "old school" in his approach to customer service so if you are particular about that and getting exact appointment times, he may throw you off. But, as I was waiting for my car, I also heard him offer a ride to help one of his older customers to pick up her car. It is rare to find an auto maintenance and repair shop that is experienced and fairly priced so I will definitely be back! read more

I called this place about three times to have them put on a door lock actuator for my BMW. The first time I called the owner/manager (man with accent) said that I needed to order the part and they could put it on. I eventually ordered the part and called to make the appointment. The guy who answered said to just come out there first thing in the morning and that it will only take about 2 hours. Now I should not have trusted that (i.e. not making an appointment) because the work is not just something you drop your car off for like an oil change, but nonetheless I followed his instructions. I called a third time to say that I was coming the next day to have the door lock actuator installed and if they had Wi-Fi so that I could work. I get there that morning for them (man with accent) to tell me that they cannot installed the actuator and it's a body shop issue, and it's an all day thing, blah, blah, blah. I am like REALLY! I called you three times and never once was this said. The man with accent always comes off as rude too. Maybe they do good work (I wouldn't know since they gave me the run around) but their customer service gets 0 stars! BTW - I eventually took my car to Autotek (300 Circle Lane, Raleigh, NC) and they did an awesome job! Save yourself some money, get some professional service and go there instead. read more

I was worried looking for a repair shop for my 04 E320. Never owned a Mercedes, its a 04 but its in mint condition except for a idle problem. Just by chance coming from another shop that brushed me I see Jankos so did a u-turn. Just needed a oil change but I mentioned the idle problem. This man got in my car and away he went! Tell me who does that! He gave me the run down on what the problem is and what to do about it. Some reason though its not done it since this morning when they changed the oil. I have complete trust in this man he treats you like family. Nice to find someone you know cares. I am his customer for life, no one else will touch my car!!!! Forgot to add. Only had this car a month. It ran great for 2 weeks. Just serviced the car lot said. Every word was a lie. Janko took his time to drive it his self I guess he knew how worried I was.
