I was blown away by the stock in Hyperspace. I wish I had taken pictures to post but alas, I'm not much for doing so. There are more vintage toys and more variety than I had even hoped for. I am a huge fan of Dallas Vintage Toys and routinely look for similar stores when I travel. This is the first I've found that is comparable. Posting on behalf of my son. For what it's worth, I can vouch for his words. I have heard the staff treat him as he describes, despite the fact that he is (or was) a regular customer: "I really would like to enjoy this place, but they make it really quite hard. I'm a regular customer, and they have an excellent selection of transformers, my main hobby. They are really the only ones in the area that have such a wide range of stock. They are also quite high priced, but every once in a while you can find a treasure. I know that they are running a business, but that isn't really an excuse to treat a regular customer as poorly as they do. They actually got really mad at me last time I tried to make a deal on a couple items to get one or two bucks off. Just earlier today I tried to do trade a g1 transformer, and I couldn't get them to do any kind of trade that wasn't downright scamming me. That was really frustrating. If you like toys and video games, check this place out, but don't expect the kind of premium respect and kindness that you would think for the premium prices. By the way, if the staff are reading this, a massive portion of my money has gone to you guys and I literally only get paid through allowance money. Excellent go to place for all things throwback in the gaming realm! Came in looking for older Nintendo products and was very pleasantly surprised by the selection Jim (the owner) had; Jim was very nice and also extremely helpful when it came to looking for what I wanted. I purchased a GameBoy SP and a game, Jim did not have a charger available so he threw in a universal charging cable free (normally like $10)! What a wonderful store experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner and almost immediately found what we were looking for. Not only did we walk out with our original desired product (an old GameCube system) but we also walked out with a few other knick-knacks (comics, magnets, sports cards, etc). Just returned from going to Marty's for the second time. My son wanted a purple game cube, Marty had one. Made sure it worked. Awesome price for it! He was so fair! We don't know much about the game, but knew we needed a memory card for it. Asked for two cards because we were also buying two games. Marty said we only needed one because they hold lots of games.
