I'd heard of Lagree but never really knew what it was, and didn't even know this was Lagree going into it, but it's basically a more intense form of pilates that uses a megaformer vs the traditional one. I'm glad I had a base of already working out and trying two other similar classes before coming here, so it was a little less intimidating. I think a beginner could definitely get the hang of this, but having a good foundation felt necessary to get the full benefits of the class and workout. And of course instructor direction and examples were a big factor in succeeding in the classes as a newcomer. I've had a handful of different instructors and have definitely found the one that is more my style and more motivating to me (shout out Ankitha), but I've generally liked all of the instructors enough to go back to their classes. Finding an instructor that works for you makes all the difference though when you're powering through a touch class, which these often are. I originally signed up for their first timers offer of 4 classes for $99. Other than that, without a membership classes run at $38 per, but they have a ton of different packages and memberships that could make classes range from $11 (if you went every single day) to $30 with a larger upfront cost. I ended up getting a class pack so that I wasn't limited or expected to attend a certain number of classes a month and have really liked the flexability. They have tons of classes throughout the day and week, so finding an opening isn't too hard.

I love how there's so much lighting in here and all the women here are super nice and inviting. I personally prefer lagree over Pilates since you can really focus on slower movements, which is when you start to shake like an earthquake. I book on Classpass!

They're also very friendly and welcoming to newcomers. I do wish there were more times as the schedule is a bit limited. However, there are some cool equipment that you typically don't see a regular gyms. I think there's a lot of promotions, so I would recommend signing up when they have a deal. They might also offer free trials for newbies before you commit too!

You typically run through 4 different exercises in 1 circuit and repeat it 3x before moving on to the next 4. Sometimes they mix up the pattern every now and then, so it might not always be a 3x4 pattern. You're on for 40 seconds, and rest for 12-15 seconds, so it's pretty manageable and time goes by FAST. All the coaches are very friendly and engaging. It seems like most members have been going for quite some time now, so they have a pretty solid community. People are generally all very supportive of one another. It's also a family-run business. The only cons are that the schedule is a bit limited, especially on Fridays-Sundays. Also pricing is kind of hidden and you have to reach out to them in order to find out more info.

I began personal training in Feb 2024 to tone and feel confident on my Big Day (Oct 2024) and to restore healthy habits that I lost during Covid. When I first came to Aileen, I couldn't do a modified push-up, I had joint pain from carrying around ~15 extra lbs, and would tire after playing with my 25 lb niece. Coach Aileen guided me through a gradual and intentional fitness journey, building my confidence and strength over time. Her extensive knowledge spans injury prevention, strength training, endurance training, nutrition / macro tracking, and overall wellness. She offers valuable tips and recommendations for creating a holistic, sustainable wellness plan, including stretching, walking, rolling, and nutrition tips (hydration, vitamins, electrolytes, etc.) What sets Coach Aileen apart is her personable approach and ability to make our (difficult!) sessions enjoyable and engaging while maintaining a professional focus. She is positive, and meets me where I am. I highly recommend taking the leap and working with Coach Aileen - you won't regret it!

I am extremely impressed with her level of knowledge, commitment, and passion she has for what she does. I have been with her for a couple of months now, and I have never felt better. This is the first time I feel like I am losing weight in a healthy, sustained way and I am seeing results! Best of all, she coaches you on how to meet your body's nutritional goals so you are not feeling hungry or lacking energy throughout the day (which is HUGE for me!). The studio is always inviting and immaculate. Beautifully designed, super clean, and private. I get energized just walking into the studio! I would highly recommend Lifestyle Reset and Coach Aileen. If you are looking to make a transformational change in your health, give Aileen a try. You won't regret it!

This is where all those gorgeous Marin ladies get their youthful bodies! Fantastic cardio class…read moreand the best value for money exercise in Marin County (Where else can you get 4 classes a week for $45/month?!). Really great atmosphere where you get a challenging but safe full-body workout in an hour, led by the lovely teacher Joy. I'll admit, I saw the name Jazzercise and had visions of ladies in leg warmers and leotards, but halfway through my first class as I gasped for breath and wiped the sweat out my eyes, I realized there is nothing old-fashioned about it. It's a very challenging workout, set to current top forty hits - there's a different routine for each song. (You can do each one high or low impact, as you choose). Then you move on to specific routines for weights, legs, arms and butts, with plenty of stretching too. I was so thrilled to find this after several years spent trying various exercise classes, none of which stuck. I find Spin to be boring and not targeted enough for your abs or upper body, nor does it do anything for your brain or balance. The Bar Method and Daily Method are both challenging and target specific muscle groups, but won't do much to burn calories. Zumba is fun and burns calories but targets nothing and lacks variety. Jazzercise, on the other hand, hits everything in one hour in a series of rigorous but safe routines - and you will SWEAT! (For you Weightwatchers out there, you earn just 4 points for an hour of yoga or Bar Method but a full 10 points for Jazzercise... that is 600 calories in an hour, and way more fun than the treadmill... I have lost 12 lb in the year since I started doing this class, and feel like a dancer again). Best of all, there is no 'scene' here; it's not intimidating or exclusive at all. There are no mirrors and no posers. Nobody will be staring at you or calling out your name to correct you. T-shirt and sweats are fine. The class of 50 or so people includes those of all ages, shapes and sizes who just share a love of music, dance and exercise. You'll soon master the moves and be doing the grapevine and the single-single-double in no time...
