Went the weekend after NYE so did not have a reservation but we put our name down and went and got a drink near by and only had to wait about 30 minutes. The vibes inside are fun, we got a couple of beers and cocktails and all were great. Our server from Argentina made the whole experience- helped with ordering. We got the queso which was delicious, enchiladas and street corn and finished all of it. Seems that this place is very popular and fun for any occasion. I recommend making a reservation before hand but won't be disappointed once you do!

Great tacos and a beautiful view from the rooftop! Must visit. Dinged one star because of the slow service, but otherwise everything was excellent.

We had a big group of 10 and they put us in our own room, it was awesome. The food and service were excellent!! I would definitely recommend this place.

Let's start with the intrigue of a Mexican restaurant in Steamboat Springs. We walked by and just the smells told me the food would be great! No mistaken this one. It's the real deal. For fresh, for seasonings, for flaves for great service and something to be inspired by. Hot, seasoned, tortilla chips will nearly never get a complaint from me and these were sooo good, dipped in the house made guacamole with just the right amount of seasonings and dices of avocado here and there reminding us that this was once a delectable veggie. Well, in the spirit of trying new things like no did this morning, I decided on barbacoa chimichanga. It was delicious! But I won't lie- I have NEVER tried a chimichanga that wasn't chicken. My taste buds were having a party but my brain was trying to figure out what had just happened. Worth the try.

Celebrated a wonderful birthday in the private room at Salt & Lime. Authentic Mexican food - off the charts delicious, with margaritas to match. The atmosphere is bright and open with a Steamboat trendy vibe. The service for our large group was amazing. (Thanks Kim!) Definitely give S&L a try next time you're in town. This place came highly recommended by locals in the town of Steamboat. Its a little storefront in town. It has a very airy bright feel with a glass storefront..Inside is a bar and some tables (pic) and chairs my guess is seats for maybe 50. The staff is super cool Accomodating and friendly. The menu is your typical mexican fare with tacos..burritos..nachos etc....we all went with different types of tacos and we were all very pleased.. .Food was good prices affordable and prices fair. They also have clean accesible bathrooms..I would definetely plot a visit if I am ever in the area again

Good food! We are vegetarian and the cauliflower tacos were very tasty & service was great.

Came here after being recommended by local. It was cute and we appreciated the taco choices. We were a little disappointed to not be able to get a side of queso but it wasn't the end of the world. The tacos were good. They were expensive but hey, as to be expected in a ski town. My real complaint was that the server gave me an incorrect taco and was pretty nonchalant about it with no offer to fix her mistake. I thought I was biting into a shrimp taco, not a fish one. The salsa had a nice kick to it and the location of this restaurant was very convenient. Well give it another go the next time we're in town and in the mood for tacos and try again.

In a cozy little town we walked up to this Mexican restaurant and were sold on the interior decorations. The modern decor with light colors welcomed us straight to the bar seats as the baseball game was on TV (there are two). The main entrance is the way into the dining area with booths, high tops, and the bar seating. Though, it looked like there's an entire second room and rooftop area that were both closed at this time. When we came in, it was happy hour (3:30pm-5:30pm daily) and we indulged: $1 off beers, $8 casa margaritas, $4 tacos. We got bison tacos, chicken tinga tacos, pescado fresco and shrimp blt tacos. All were very good. And also, all the food orders came out very quickly. Very efficient service!

They offer a number of exciting and flavorful dishes. Both the food and the room can be a little spicy. This restaurant have a most interesting menu with a number of exciting choices. I found that also made it a challenge to find the dishes that wouldn't be too spicy. The easy option is to ask questions and the staff will help. The trouble might be hearing the staff over the volume in the room, but more on that later. We started with the Salsa Verda and the Guacamole. The salsa. Was on the hot side and I only needed a touch to get the heat. I'm usually ok with heat and enjoy Cholla on my eggs for breakfast to give you some sense of my tolerance. The guacamole was excellent and is well worth getting. The small serving is good for 2 or 3 people. After browsing the menu I opted for the 3 tacos, which allows you to pick from the many choices on the menu. The bison taco turned out to be the hottest. I'd like to say the bison was finely ground and probably good but all I remember was hot. After a pause I moved on to the shrimp BLT taco which allowed me to find the wonderful flavors of shrimp, bacon, avocado, pico and lime cream, which adds a little heat. By the way, each taco is good for 3 or 4 good bites. The third was the chicken Tinga, which had a pleasant flavor, followed by the pickled cabbage and lime aioli. Something in there had some heat but it came after the other flavors which was nice. My dinner partner had the Pork Al Pastor Durango bowl which I had the pleasure of finishing. Without the Adobe Crema this was a flavorful dish without any significant heat. The pork was small and tender morsels with good seasoning, easily combined with the seasoned black beans, the tangy kale salad or the pickled slaw or salsa verde. As I mentioned up front the volume in the room for dinner was uncomfortably loud. We were in the left dinning room as you walk in and it was full. It was difficult to carry on a conversation or talk with the server. My Soundcheck app pegged it as loud or very load, depending on the timing. There is a dining room to the right that seemed like it might have been a little quieter but also wasn't full. There were some attempts at acoustic ceiling but more effort should be done to deaden the sound. Its a popular place so getting a quieter time to eat might be difficult.

This visit, we ordered the Watermelon Gazpacho (GF), Beef Short Rib Anticucho (GF), and Ensalada de Manzana y Manchego (GF). The Beef Short Rib Anticucho was the star of the meal, at least for me, I honestly wanted more because it was so good! The salad was also delicious and, while definitely more apple-heavy than greens, they were happy to accommodate my request for extra greens. My only criticism is that the menu doesn't mention the compressed watermelon in the gazpacho is infused with sangria. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, I could definitely taste it and wish that had been disclosed on the menu. Overall, Besame remains one of my favorite spots in Steamboat. Consistently great food, great service, and always a solid dining experience.

We ordered about 10 different toppers for the table, so it was pretty good odds to find a couple that weren't winners, but I have to be honest. The ambience is so cute, very swanky, but anything in Colorado still feels casual because everyone shows up in flannels and T-shirts. We had a 5 o'clock reservation and were sat right on time, and the service was really great. I started with a Pisco sour, one of my favorite drinks and really uncommon to find in this part of the world. It was delicious. I could've drank five of them. We shared a bunch of tapas for the table, starting with the patatas bravas, octopus, ceviche, duck wings, yuca frita, croquetas, gyozas, and shishito peppers. The clear winner was the ceviche - not your typical Peruvian style, made with salmon and a thicker aji amarillo sauce. It was absolutely amazing and served with these yummy plantain chips that paired so well with it. Those were also a big standout. The texture was perfect both outside and inside. I liked the octopus too, and the patatas bravas were good but felt they could have been a little more crispy on the outside and had the sauce more well-distributed. The wings really were not memorable, overly breaded and thickly sauced. The yuca was the biggest letdown of the night, usually one of my favorite dishes, but these tasted like they came frozen from a bag and did not even finish microwaving before they were served. Still, I loved some of these dishes so much that I would definitely come back and stick with what I liked and try some new things too. Thanks!

Our waiter was personable and professional and gave some great recommendations. I had the old fashion as my cocktail choice. Not sure what bourbon they used but it was so smooth I had two. I'm glad we split it as there was no way I could have eaten the whole thing. I didn't think to ask if the beef was house ground but it was really good regardless. After my first one I had to use an entire cloth napkin to clean it off my hands, and then asked for another one. When I got to the 2nd taco it was falling apart because of the mayo tsunami, I used my 2nd napkin to cleanup from this one. Then I started on number 3 there was no way to pick it up, had to use knife and fork. The Bistro Steak My wife enjoyed the seasoning, and the potatoes and veggie, she had 2 pieces left and she gave me one. One side was well done the other was rare, She ordered medium. I don't know how you could cook a 1 inch steak rare on one side and well done on the other. I didn't eat it. Finally the desert, it was really good, large cookie with ice cream - excellent. I'm usually not a fan of wild mushrooms, but it worked well with the crispy arancini. The whipped feta & bruschetta was a nice cooling change of pace, but I wish they gave you a couple more bread bits. For an entree I went with the interesting pork cheeks. They are literally pig cheeks, like the cheeks from their face. And I absolutely loved them! They reminded me a bit of chicharrones, but softer.
