I've been going to Tevy for around 3 years. At first the treatments were twice a week. Now it's gotten to the point where I am going every 15 weeks. I had a very bad stroke and had several issues. Both acupuncture and nutrition have really helped me. The cost is a little expensive because they don't take insurance anymore, but what price do you put on your health and well being? Overpriced If you have boat loads of $ to spend this is the place for you I do believe they are knowledgeable in what they are promoting but it's going to cost you $120 first visit for acupuncturist Assessment and $65 from then on $120 for the nutrition assessment which they do a muscle energy test which is by far not accurate Then I was thinking I'd be able to take home the supplements they recommended which was 4 at an addition cost and nope I was told I'd have to start the nutrition "program" mind you I've already spend a total of 4 1/2 hours there to be told that would cost another $40 for that session on top of the actual cost of supplements and that the program consisted of me having to come back once a week at $45 for about 12 more times to make sure the supplements are working and make any changes and if changes that means more $ for supplements This is all on top of the three times a week suggested for acupuncture a week at $65 a pop If I was aware of all the fees for supplements and visits I would have not paid the $120 for assessment After all of this I will not be back Now after 4 1/2 hours at the office and paid for 2 assessments I did get 20 min session of acupuncture but besides that left with nothing Now I am looking for a new acupuncturist that will provide a session of acupuncture and herb recommendations in one visit which is what I was looking for And follow up acupuncture sessions which include herbs is only $35 a visit easy to find in town Way cheaper So like I said if you are made of $ which I'm not and most people are not I would skip this place They are very nice and knowledgeable and a clean nice office but not for me Waste of time and $ read more

I have nothing but the highest regard for both Dr. Hysell and Mrs. Hysell. They are the most kindhearted and knowledgable people I've ever met who are truly invested in your health and will do everything they can to help. Dr. Hysell and the staff are wonderful! I came in as a walk-in and the process was explained very clearly, and I collected the paperwork I would need for my first appointment. During that appointment, Dr. Hysell was extremely thorough. He asked many questions to learn my medical history and completed diagnostic tests along with an adjustment. So far, I've only had one appointment, but I've already noticed improvement in my pain. You do need to pay at the time of service and they will not bill your insurance company, but you get what you pay for. They were more than happy to print a "superbill' for me so I can send it off to my insurance company. Dr. Hysell is worth the extra paperwork! read more

I came to the Hysells because I wanted to manage my health without prescription medication. I noticed such a difference in my health after the first few treatments of acupuncture that I decided to try their nutrition program as well. I learned that some of my symptoms were related to food sensitivities and was given a list of foods to avoid and supplements to take. It was not easy to follow at first, but I was committed to becoming mentally and physically healthier. Local gem! This couple of Doctors care deeply about their patients and try very hard to give comprehensive relief and sustained overall health. They promote a nutrition system along with Chiropractor and Acupuncture. I have had great relief from pain from both acupuncture and chiropractor. The relief for my locked ribs and breathing problem has been life saving! The idea of vitamins and supplements is taught and you can buy their products or do your own, but I am so glad they teach and are aware of this most important aspect to complete health. You can go "a la carte" or do their whole program. I have insurance which they are happy to process but instead I choose to pay and do "a la carte" for my needs and it is a VERY reasonably priced practice. After seeing chiropractors in many states due to travel, I felt most appreciative to find such a talented pair of doctors in one location that have a strong system of overall health and great treatments with care and good prices locally!
