I had to take my vehicle in for a repair / really. This was my first time to use the Hyundai Service Center. When you drive up, just go right up to the garage with the green arrows and the doors will open automatically. Then drive your car in and see one of the people at the service desk. Since mine was for a recall there was no charge. I just had to give them my keys, and verify my identity with the phone number used to make the appointment. I was told it would take up to 90 minutes, and I was welcome to wait inside where they have a nice seating area, WiFi, a place to charge your device, TV, and some cool water. My repair took only an hour, and it was ready. I was informed via text message. Just as I was getting up, one of the young ladies called my name, handed me my keys and showed me where my car was waiting. It was a very positive experience, professional, and excellent service. read more

Car was then damaged during a storm (not their fault) but then when I asked if discount could be applied I was ghosted by entire dealership - Sales Manager and Finance Director would not return calls or texts. I only had a small interaction with them this time. I had a slight oil leak in my new 2021 Pallisade (thanks Jiffy Lube of Tucson for failing to reinstall a washer on the drain plug). I got an appointment fairly quickly. When I arrived however they didn't seem to know who I was or why I was there even though that info was relayed when I called and was on the email confirmation they sent me. Nonetheless, they worked me in quickly and diagnosed the issue. I did have to pay for more oil but that is understandable. Based on this interaction I'll return for future scheduled maintenance or other issues when I'm here in the Valley for the winter. read more

I would call the service department and ask for Diego where they would tell her would return my call and never did. I brought my vehicle in months ago to get my tire pressure sensor looked at & just so happened to have a loud creaking noise when I would open my tailgate. The tire sensor was taken care of, but not my tailgate. I was told a part needed to be ordered. Fast forward a few months later, my tailgate still has that creaking noise and no longer closes. So I drop off my vehicle at 0830 and head to work. I came back during my lunch and find out I have to wait 2 weeks for a part to come in. A part that should've been ordered months ago, mind you. And while I'm being informed of this, the whole staff is scurrying around looking for some keys. Who's keys? MINE. I ask if they could've been left in the car and I was told (as if I were an idiot), "Umm.. no. The cars get locked when they're parked in the front." So I wait... and wait... only to find out that I was right. The keys were left in my car. Easy mistake. I'll give them that. But don't talk to me as if I were an idiot. Another thing, not once was I notified that my service was complete, that I needed to wait on a part, or what the diagnostics were. I had to show up for them to tell me that I basically have to drive around with my tailgate unlocked for the next 2 weeks. My tailgate OPENS with every bump or hard-ish full stop. read more

They have made my life a living hell, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Go anywhere else but here. Bought a "certified pre owned car" and it has already broken down 2 times in the first 3 months. They make it super hard to fix the vehicle and when you take it in end up not fixing it right anyway they will do extremely minimal work. They give you the run around. Terrible sales I appreciate the sales man doing the deal but the dealership won't take the extra step to make a customer happy I'm an out of state buyer and these guys somehow got to jack the price $50-$100 on the ZL1 a month I said $600 was do able but still way too expensive and $550 or under would be amazing I would've bought it like I said if they went the extra step to ship it out somehow to Arizona and maybe lower the payment. Today I went in to buy a few items for my new vehicle and decided to go to my local Hyundai dealership. I needed some floor mats for my Hyundai and the parts guys sure took good care of me by making recommendations which saved me a few dollars. I also spoke to Marco in the finance department about their car warranties and he explained all their different plans in great detail. Marco was very patient with all my questions and made the best package for me based on my needs. Worst service department in the entire Valley! Save yourself your time and hard earned money and do not go here! They try to rob you of your money and do not even do the work they say they will do. Dropped off our Hyundai Veloster on a Thursday. We were told 4-5 days just to diagnose but we decided to wait because this is the dealership and we expected honest service and easy communication. For 10 business days, we struggled to get ahold of anyone in the service department. We left multiple voicemails, the few times they did answer they said they would call us back, but *never* called us back. It took us going at 7am to get them to look at our vehicle that had been sitting there for 10 days. Finally, they tell us $500 to fix. We pay, they "fix" but when we drove off, the car did the exact same thing we took it in for. We then had a mechanic friend take a look at it and in under 5 minutes, the problem was identified. Because we had already paid $500, we took the car back to Hyundai. No apologies, no acknowledgment of their mistake but they did credit us back for the work they did not do and charged us $300 less to fix the actual problem. Again, save yourself the stress, frustration and the risk of being robbed and go somewhere else! read more

Went this morning for an oil change service (with appointment), end up waiting for 2.5 hrs. No one ever told us that it would take this long. So disappointed, it's a waste of time! Manager came over upon our request but show no concern. Blue banners were hanging stating " #1 Hyundai Service..." Really... SHAME on you!!! Don't waste your time for simple service here... Terrible customer service by the service department. Don't bother scheduling a service appointment, they don't honor your appointment. I had scheduled an appointment for today and received a call advising that I needed to reschedule or take it to another dealer, since they didn't have enough people to work on my car. They had the gall to inform me that since my car was still under warranty any Hyundai could handle my AC issue. So due to their poor planning, I have to drive (without an AC) to another city for services. I would give them a zero but gave them one star since at least they called before I showed up. read more

All of the reviews here are negative. I would like to give honest fair feedback when it's warranted. I used the online schedule feature to set up my oil change, tire rotation and State Inspection. I arrived early and my car was taken in right away. The scheduled service was one time and the technician was friendly. Gave me updates on optional services that were available. They were not pushy at all and accepted my decline. I do appreciate the inspection because the battery on the car was dying. It had been almost 4 years since it was replaced so they went ahead and replaced it for me. Fair is fair when it comes to reviews and in this case they earned my 4 star rating. read more

i took my car in(aug 7th) to get a tire replaced because it was flat and i had just gotten the tires and to also get my high beams fixed because they hadnt been working, they said they had to order the tire and i would have my car ready the next day(aug 8th) at noon, my dad and i called several times to get an update on my car and spoke to about 4 different people who did not communicate with each other at all, one person had my dad sent his insurance information to another advisor to see if we can at least try and get a car to borrow because i had to work and he couldnt take me, the same lady that we sent the information to responded asking why he sent that even though she was on the call where they asked for it , another said that we'd receive a call from a manager, never not once did anyone ever call us, we had to call ourselves because no one was giving us any updates, and not only did i not get my car til the day after(aug 9th) they didn't do my high beams because they had to order the lights which would get there til the end of the week, i needed a car so i told them to give me a call about it and they said they would it has been almost 3-4 weeks since then and still have not received a call about them. seriously unprofessional and uncommunicative. read more

Horrible customer service. Horrible communication between departments. Took in my car I bought on Saturday oct 19 back in on Monday oct 21. I needed to drive back to San Antonio that Monday. I have been living in San Antonio for the past three years and I am originally from mission. When I went in Saturday my sales person was told I wasn't from the valley. When I took it back in on Monday I told my sales person again and the service person, so two people that was driving back that night to San Antonio. I was supposed to leave by 4 but didn't leave til after 6. Had to drive in the dark which I hate doing. But I had school the next Morning. Told it would take about two hour for some maintenance on my car. I was old they would be placing back on my mirror, adding wiper fluid and changing my oil because there was no sticker saying when it was done or when it was due. Didn't want to break down in the middle of nowhere because I didn't have any oil in my car. It ended up taking 8 hours to glue on a mirror in my car. Told three different people that I needed my mirror placed back on, wiper fluid added, and oil changed or least told when it was due. I told one person, Fabian, my sales person, nine times over the phone if all things asked were done, literally every time I called him or he called me. He either lied to me or someone lied to him. I even said in person that I needed my oil changed and wiper fluid. Went to pick up the car SIX hours after I was told I would be able to pick it up originally. Dropped it off at 10, ended up not getting it back til after 6pm. originally told I would be able to pick it up 12. I was told at noon they needed to order "part" which would take 2 hours to arrive and I was told to call at 3. When I called they wouldn't be able to get me the "part" locally and it wouldn't be arriving till Wednesday. I don't know how long they had my car before they sold it to me but I don't know why this problem wasn't solved before it was sold to anyone. Like if they needed a "part" to fix my mirror why it wasn't order on Saturday when I took the car home or ordered whenever they knew the mirror had fallen off whenever it did. I asked my sales person what I was supposed to do then? Drive around with no mirror back to San Antonio? His only solution was to say that they would fix it for me when I come back down and mind you I don't come down to the valley that often and the next time I would be coming down would be thanksgiving. I am a full time college student and have a full time job, I can't go down every weekend. I was told he would needed to call me back to see what management wanted to do about it. Didn't call me back till 4:30. The "part" they needed......was my mirror, which was in my car in the center console, where they had put it when they sold me the car. Never in the 9 phone calls before was I asked if I had the mirror, where was the mirror, was I even given the mirror. I was then told that it would take 2 more hours to put my mirror on after I had been waiting SIX hours to get my car back. I didn't get to pick up my car til 6pm. When I arrived I asked Fabian V, in person, if the wiper fluid and oil change was done for the tenth time. And I am not kidding when I say I asked him EVERY time I talked to him if it was done. And he told me "YES, IT DONE." They didn't give me a sticker stating that they did it and when the next one was due and when I asked Fabian V in person about it, I was told that Hyundai didn't give those stickers. Which is crap cause this isn't my first car I have purchase from (Hyundai of Pharr) and I used to get my oil changed there. And when I asked in person when he handed me my car keys back, about the wiper fluid. Fabian flipped the switch and it was bone dry! EIGHT hours!! Hyundai of Pharr had my car and they did absolutely nothing. So when I saw that the wiper fluid wasn't done. I know for dang sure my oil wasn't changed. Fabian took my car for another 30minute. When it was brought back I was shown that wiper fluid was added. I then asked to be given an invoice stating that the oil change was done that day because I was told at least 10 times that it was done that day. And I didn't even want it done if it didn't need it. if I had been told it was good for another such and such miles, I would have been okay, fine, and left it at that. But I was COMPLETELY lied to. The paper I was given stated that my car had gotten an oil change on "SEPTEMBER 19". I still have the paper if anyone wants proof. I was lied to my face and feel completely disrespected. What if I had waited to get my oil changed because I believed my oil was changed that day?? The invoice stated that my car had a thousand miles less a month ago. I would have gone a thousand miles over the recommended miles and what messed up my car. I can't believe the experience I had at Hyundai of Pharr and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

Terrible auto service department. I went there as a last resort to get my car fixed and they ended up charging me $777 for a fuel pump that did not need replacing. I take my car back and told me they did not fix the problem because My car literally turned off in the middle of the street. They offered to take another look but now they're saying it's something else and that it would be an additional $400 and I asked them if they were sure this was the problem and they told me they didn't know! I asked to speak to a manager and nobody has gotten back to me! Just terrible! read more

I'm gonna give this place another star, because I was actually really happy with the results last time around. They took another look at the problems I'd reported a couple times now, gave me thorough info about the problem and the fix that they did, and it was all covered under the warranty. They even called me a couple of times to give me updates while they were fixing it. So, I was very impressed with the quick communication improvement. Not having a car for a bit was still inconvenient, but I'm really glad that the repair only took a couple of days. Oh, and they also threw in a free inspection, which I didn't ask for, so it was an added bonus. As part of that inspection, they recommended that I have my throttle replaced. I went to my usual service place the next day, they told me the same thing, and I went ahead and replaced it. So, while I can't say I'll start coming back for regular service just yet, I definitely regained a lot of confidence in them. They really do seem to take customer's opinions and suggestions seriously. read more

We come back the next business day, where we waited over 4 hours before Gus decided it was convenient for him to work on our application. Mind you be started at 7:30, 30 minutes before they close!! I was upset because we couldn't get the vehicle that day and I have to drive from Donna and back. The next day, we were promised a call back from finance, Alex, and nothing! We called and he said he'd give us an answer from the back and yet no call. We called back and he advised us to stop calling and a salesman would be handling us. We never got a call from them! I had to communicate from the salesman from Toyota who referred us and he said he still had no answer, 4 days after they "submitted" our application. Had another great sales experience with this dealership. The people here are terrific! I have to give props to two service writers. Josh made sure I was taken care of in a timely manner. He greeted me warmly and was polite and respectful. I felt a genuine sincerity with his words and professionalism. Adam (who was not present at my last visit but I have always dealt with during past visits) is another service writer that treats you like an old friend. Both are exceptional people that treat you in a fair and honest manner. I must say that every time I come into Hyundai of Pharr for an oil change I have to return for something that wasn't quite right afterward - although nothing major, it is an annoying wasting of my time, but Josh and Adam make the time spent there pleasant. Saturday I went in for an oil change and while waiting I got to talking to Tony C. Tony is a salesman. I inquired about a used truck I had seen on their website and he was very helpful in answering all of my questions. We test drove the truck, discussed the issues I found, Tony committed to having these issues addressed quickly, and he seemed sincere in his words. Tony introduced me to his manager, Julio M. Julio also seemed sincere in his words and both gentlemen were very professional yet down to Earth. As I said earlier, I usually have to return to the dealership after an oil change for one reason or another (eye rolls), and this day was no different (hence only 4 stars instead of 5). I was back within an hour. While the oopsies were being rectified in Service, I met Tony again, with Julio, and learned that the repair or replace issues I had mentioned to them on the used truck we discussed were already underway. Even though we could not close on a deal, they listened and acted immediately anyway. Tony and Julio then worked further with me on a meeting my wants and needs in a sale and, in the end, a deal was struck; I purchased the truck. I am satisfied with Tony and Julio's professionalism and sincerity in recognizing the value of customer loyalty (this is my 2nd truck from Hyundai of Pharr). I highly reccommend this dealership (just be sure to check over your vehicle with a close eye after a service... they apparently love to leave oily hand prints everywhere - but in fairness, they will clean it up without complaint if pointed out. Somebody in charge of the Shop: Please teach the service techs that grease and oil destroy a vehicle's protective finish when in Texas heat, and so, take extra care to use covers and GLOVES. While you are at it... tell them to take their time... rushing basic jobs wastes more time in the long run and ticks off customers when items not removed with care and breaks, are not tightened down properly, or left off completely. Thanks.) I also highly recommend Tony Cervantes as your "go-to" guy for serious deals... he works hard for the customer, and he is a good guy to chat with too. Apparently no one works here. Call and get transferred out to voicemails. I don't want to get transferred to a voice machine.The service department has no explanation why they can't service my vehicle after I purchased extended warranty at $100 extra a month. No one has any answers. Transfer me to finance department because they sold me the warranty. So to repair my vehicle stop speaking with a service manager we have to redirect you to finance to see IF we can cover service. HORRIBLE SERVICE. You have a better chance walking into this place and waiting 3 hours to speak with someone. Again no one knows how to pick up the phone other than the girl they hired to answer and say hi this is Hyundai let me transfer you to message machine. NO HELP. Noe the manager from service department doesn't know how to return a phone call along with the other manager Chico from finance. I would not like to extend my information to the general manager at Hyundai he can't get employees to extend there hand to dial a phone number. They will sit there and persuade you to buy Hyundai's extended warranty which nothing is ever covered even with the platinum warranty. It's a scam and a waste. This was a return visit to repair damage done in a previous visit from July 30th. Both visits were marred by horrible customer experiences. The first which was a time belt and bent cylinder repair went on for two weeks. Throughout that period they waited for a part for over a week and every time I inquired I was told the part was just a day away for delivery. Inquires by phone would go unanswered for multiple tries and e-mail to the service manager went unanswered for over a week. I was finally given a loaner on the day prior to the repairs' completion. However, when I picked up the vehicle one of the door handles had been broken. They promised to repair it and ordered the part which they stated would arrive the following week, this being July 30th. One week came and went with the status being it would arrive the following week. That week came with the status being the following week. After two weeks into August, I was told it would arrive at the beginning of September. The first week of September came no call on the status, e-mailed the service manager and never got a reply. Finally on September 10th I was called the part had finally arrived and it was repaired the following day. Till today, I haven't heard back from the service manager regarding the e-mail from the first week of September. read more

I recently purchased a 2015 GMC Yukon form this dealership. At the beginning Genaro (sales person) was very attended on service. Once I completed all my paperwork my vehicle was delivered to me in San Antonio. There was some minor things wrong with vehicle and was told it was going to be taken care of. The tv's on headrest didn't work missing a floor mat and front parking sensors didn't work. I tried reaching out to Genaro and never heard back from him. I decided to call Eli (manager) to assist and he told me that they were still waiting on floor mat and couldn't come to an agreement on fixing front sensors (cost $850). I was also told truck was sold as is but wasn't never informed on issues with truck. It's been 1 month and still haven't resolved the issues.
