However, upon canceling the order, Artificial Turf Express charged me a 20% restocking fee amounting to $1,284.54. At no point during the transaction was I informed about any restocking fee, either verbally or in writing. There were also no visible signs in the store that indicated the existence of such a fee. I find this charge to be unfair and deceptive. The merchant failed to disclose this critical piece of information before completing the transaction, which is not only unethical but also potentially illegal under consumer protection laws. I respectfully request that the BBB assist in resolving this issue by asking Artificial Turf Express to refund the $1,284.54 restocking fee. I believe that other customers should be aware of this practice, and I would like to ensure that the merchant adheres to proper business practices in the future.

These are all thing which are important to me. When Christian arrived for the estimate he was prepared with all the information & samples of product. Everything was explained in great detail, how the old turf would be removed, drainage, leveling. etc. Truly professional. This is not a one-time issue; throughout our interaction over the past few years, there has been a recurring pattern of him agreeing to a specific day or time to come by and then simply not showing up. This has happened quite a few times, with the most recent experience being the final straw. I first reached out in September 2025 regarding a sprinkler issue. After a no-show then, I followed up again in March 2026. Once again, he confirmed a timeframe to swing by, but never arrived and provided no follow-up to explain why. I have attached two snips of our message history here for reference. I have always tried to be patient, flexible, and polite, even offering additional fees to ensure his time was covered. If a professional finds a request unreasonable or is too busy, it is much better to simply say so. Instead, being 'ghosted' repeatedly makes it very difficult to plan or maintain a property. While I appreciate the work he has done in the past, the lack of reliability makes it hard to continue with his services.

Erik was able to come out on relatively short notice and we asked about pet proof turf and he was able to bring a couple samples for us to view. Even though some of the samples he brought were super lush, he suggested a shorter turf so it's easier to clean. His quote was super reasonable as well. We pretty much knew we wanted to hire him right after he left so we gave him a call and he was able to come out 2 days later to install the turf. His team arrived early and spent the entire day getting rid of the stumps, leveling out the dirt, adding composite, and installing the turf. He also added some rocks at the border near the fence so the entire area looks super cute. I left on a work trip and came back a week later so I didn't see it the day it was done but coming back to it made me so happy. It looks incredibly good. I can't help but admire it every time I'm out there and my dogs are super in love with it too. If i ever need any additional landscaping or fence services, I will definitely hire Erik and his team again!

Their turf was a lot less florescent than others, which I like. From the time I called them to the time the job was completed was less than a week. They came out for an estimate within a day, gave me the quote on site during the estimate, and scheduled the job for the following week. Granted, they conveniently had a cancellation and my job was only a one day job, but I was extremely impressed. Everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly, and efficient. The workers who installed the turf were awesome and cleaned up our entire yard, not just the mess they made. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.
