I also love their coffee but unfortunately they were out, so decided to try the pistachio ( nutty, sweet and salty; okay in my opinion). Mary helped me today, I wanted to purchase two milkshakes on points. I told her and showed her my phone in the beginning. What I understand is when you use points you have to ring up each transaction separately. The first transaction went through than the second transaction she didn't want to except my points which I had total 190 points and two drinks is 150 points. Went to the Makai Market food court at Ala Moana shopping center on a busy Saturday afternoon. Hadn't been there in years! My BFF & I had lunch first & then dessert. I first thought the regular size had 2 scoops but when she told me 3 scoops, I was pleasantly surprised. My banana split was so ONO! It tasted as good as it looked. Was only going to eat 1/2 then bring the rest home but my BFF & I were talking story & before I knew it, it was all gone. It was the best banana split I've had in a long time. I selected vanilla, mint chocolate chip, & coffee for ice cream. Banana was firm but sweet, strawberries tasted fresh. It was topped with a huge serving of whipped cream & a cherry. Yummo! It is an American made product whose parent company is General Mills under its Nestlé Ice Cream Division. We ordered a large serving of Java Chip, Dulce de Leche and Rocky Road ice creams. Service was friendly and quick. We were a bit disappointed with the portion size to price as we mentally compared the 3 scoops to what we normally get at its Vermont-based competitor. We also noticed that the ice cream melted quickly soon after being scooped. I will give credit to Häagen-Daz as they hold the distinction of being one of the few commercial ice cream brands that doesn't use any stabilizers which probably accounts for the faster melt. The flavors were natural tasting and weren't overly sweet. Each scoop was dense, creamy and rich because of its super-premium or high butterfat brand. I am a serious ice cream officiando. I'm the kinda girl who can eat ice cream in the middle of a blizzard. I scream for ice cream and it is something we always had in our home. Horrible customer service!! We stopped by the Ala Moana Häagen-Dazs shop for a shake as we do regularly because we live just minutes away, unfortunately we had to walk away empty handed. Yesterday, Sunday evening at 6:11pm female staff member by the name of Liezel was incredibly rude, disrespectful and belligerent towards us. Liezel took our order wrong, and from the get go had an impatient, derogatory attitude. Instead of having a positive customer service experience we had to endure her arguing and yelling at us insisting over and over that she got the order right and we were wrong. She was mouthing off so much we had to walk away and not buy anything in the end. She also kept aggressively rushing customers telling them that they were closing in 30 minutes.
