Ice cream taste is good ifffff they make the sundaes correctly... sometimes they are out of flavors which sucks or their whipped cream is melted. I just feel like they can get overwhelmed since usually only two people work at a time. Store needs a deeps cleaning tho. The floors when you walk in are disgusting. Tables are usually not wiped. I ordered chocolate and chocolate cookies & cream. The C&C, which was on top, was very high quality and tasted great. Unfortunately, the chocolate underneath was very icy and had an off taste, to the point where I couldn't finish the rest. It was inedible. I wish I had sampled the chocolate first, because I would have only ordered the cookies & cream. The service was also a little frustrating. I was left waiting while the worker helped someone with an iPad/payment issue, even though my order would have been very quick. I understand issues come up, but it felt like I wasn't being prioritized as a customer and was just left waiting. Had never gone into a Haagen-Dazs only bought the ice cream at a local grocery store. It's a shame I don't have one close to where we live especially in this heat where ice cream is a must in this household. Service was great the employee even said thanked and said bye as we were leaving. It's rare nowadays to see that from any employee young or older. The store was clean and smelled delicious. This establishment just opened up and it's a great addition in the area, especially since it's starting to warm up. They offer a variety of different ice cream flavors to choose from (pistachio is my favorite), smoothies, and sundaes. They also offer samples which is a plus! I was surprised that they even offer cakes. However, since they are still newly opened some menu items aren't currently available. Great service and very welcoming/friendly staff and owner. Nice wall art and the overall place is well lit, clean, and well organized. It's rare to find a Haagen-Dazs ice cream shop, so I was excited to try this place when passing thru Mountain House! The store is very well-kept, very clean & organized. The owner really knows how to choose his employees well. The woman who helped me out was so friendly, and fulfilled my requests to sample a bunch of the flavors before finally deciding. All throughout, she had a smile and amazing customer service! Also, the ice cream is great! I had the White chocolate raspberry and Brownies a la mode, both hit the spot, even though it was a cold day. Last, but not least, I actually met the owner. From my brief interaction with him, I can tell he is a very patient, and most importantly, honest, man, who stands behind the quality of his business. I would say more often than not, when I try ice cream places, they're not memorable, including big names like Ghirardelli. However, I will definitely patronize this place again and would recommend it anyone in the Tracy-Mountain House area if they have an ice cream craving! read more

Häagen-Dazs has some of the best ice cream and milkshakes that I've ever had in my life. If you love ice cream, this is your dream shop. They have so many good flavors, such as Butter Pecan, which theirs is the best I've had, Belgian Chocolate, which is so rich it should have a diamond-encrusted Rolex, and the ever so delicious Caramel Cone, just to name a few. This is an ice cream lover's paradise. I'd give it a million stars here if I could, and I definitely recommend it for all ice cream fanatics everywhere. read more

I chose the banana split, which was a takeoff of the original vanilla ice cream, pineapple sauce, chocolate sauce, bananas, and whipped cream. Ice cream was really good. Lovely little place, it was definitely busy but it's understandable since grand opening was on Sunday. Props to the employees, continued to have a line out the door from 11AM to 9:30. They continued to advertise the New York Strawberry Cheese Cake flavor, it was so yummy!! Continued to let me and my family sample anything we wanted. I am unsure as to why some would say it was a bad environment. I loved how welcoming the workers were. The people who come in cannot be controlled. Although there was an incident it's not the jobs duty to make sure they don't come in? It's not like they know who comes in and what they might do. Anyways, they made sure they got everything right and made a delicious sundae for my friend and I. The worker would ask us every little question just in case we didn't want a certain thing or to change it. I am so happy they opened one in Mountain House. It's quick service once you get to the front of the line. Although it is a little long since it just opened. I'm excited to go there when I get my ice cream craving.
