I've been to this chain a few times now, but this was my first visit to this specific location. The flavors were consistent with the other locations I've tried, but unfortunately they're just very basic. If you're looking for Mexican treats, it'll satisfy the craving, but I've definitely had much better elsewhere. The inside was clean, and service was quick, so no complaints there. The menu has just about everything, but it also gives off that "they have so much, I wonder how good everything actually is" feeling. Today I ordered two popsicles, and honestly I could barely taste the flavors I chose. They just weren't as strong or as refreshing as popsicles I've had from other places. At a little over $12 for two popsicles, they didn't feel worth the price. I understand specialty treat shops have higher prices because that's their main business, so I expected to pay a little more. But for the flavor and overall quality, it just didn't deliver. It's not a bad place by any means, but it's also not one I'd go out of my way to visit again unless I was already nearby. read more

It's a long time coming for this review now that I have become a self proclaimed Yelpist. Drum rolls please, por que ya se armo! I have had various of their items, this last visit i was carrying my son, talking on the phone, and placing my order. Who knew a man such as myself could multitask this much. Anyways, i ordered an agua fresca of Limon w/pepino. Excuse my photo on this one, not my best considering the circumstances, but a photo is a photo. The quality and taste of refreshers, snacks, desserts are good here. I've had their crazy shakes; gansito and mazapan. Some of their ice cream flavors, ice pops, and esquites. It's always delicious! A couple years back it used to be extremely busy, but inflation and competing companies has slowed it down a bit. Very vibrant and colorful atmosphere. I loved the rice pudding ice cream flavors I tried. I also liked the strawberry flavor I tried. It is a smaller location than the one I am used to in Modesto with way more flavor options. Bottom line is it is a great place to treat yourself and definitely tailored to young girls with all the bright colors. First time going to La Michoacana plus here in Tracy and it was pretty good. The food was amazing, had a lot on their menu, which included sweet and salty and sour. The service was good and quick, didn't have complaints there. The ambiance was good, very lit up and music playing(not too loud as some reviews complained) the only complaint was the humidity inside. Came here on a whim looking for a snack. I ended up getting the mini pancakes with chocolate drizzle. The chocolate tasted like the chocolate abuelita that you use for Mexican hot chocolate! Terrible customer service last time we just came in. 2 workers saw us, no greeting, walked to the back area and said nothing to us. Been there several times in the past, they just lost customers. I got a agua Fresca de Leche so gooooood omg, a micheagua I think that's the name de watermelon so quenching and nachos with a 12 pack of paletas for the house. 1st I absolutely LOVE this ice cream shop. Yet, I was extremely disappointed yesterday and NOT with the Ice Cream. The 2 young girls working were playing inappropriate music extremely loud. I mentioned it to one of the girls that they were children in the shop and they shouldn't have to listen to "SUCK MY @!*%!" while eating their ice cream and her response was, "I don't see any little kids." She didn't bother changing the music or even apologizing. I'm happy my Granddaughter wasn't with me- the situation probably would have been escalated. Since this location has opened I've been here multiple times because my son loves the ice cream. However, we no longer eat here because the times we are there waiting in line, the ladies at the counter are always playing inappropriate music on their phones. My son is 4 and I don't want to take him to get ice cream and have hood music playing in a family place. Secondly, the location is not clean and does not smell clean. There was a day my son and I came in and ate ice cream there, he spilled ice cream all over the table and booth and I did my best to clean up but was told they will wipe it up. The next day we came to pick up paletas for a group of people and as I look at the table we were sitting on, the ice cream from the evening before was crusted on the table. Blue Bubblegum paleta still there. I haven't returned since then, I hope management puts in some cleaning tasks and does something about the inappropriate music. Thank you. read more

I really want to like this place, but have been disappointed in some way every time I've been here. I went a few weeks after their grand opening and it was mediocre. Decided to give it a try again because I was craving 'Mexican corn', and being that it's been a while since the grand reveal, you'd think that they would have a better system in place. Found out about La Michoacana Plus on their very hyped up Instagram. Every post I have seen on their Instagram left me drooling. I expected the same when I finally was able to try out this place. Visited this location twice and both times we did not have a pleasant experience. WHAT YOU SEE ON IG is NOT WHAT YOU GET HERE. Extremely long lines even in the early afternoons. One or two workers (if that) that can not keep up with orders. Last encounter with the employee helping me skipped me and then almost skipped me again. Ice cream had little to no flavor. The popsicles had great flavor but melt very fast so makes it very messy. Seating is very limited in here so don't plan to enjoy your treats inside. read more

My cherry paleta and my friend's lemon pie paleta were both yummy. Although, the fruity pebbles paleta kept calling me. Maybe another time. I am so disappointed. I was so excited when this place opened. Went there in the early afternoon and it was packed! Well, that's because of the super slow service. I watched someone stalking a full case of popsicles, while there was a line wrapped around the inside of the store. None of the employees seemed to care. No manager anywhere. Ended up getting just a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Mediocre at best. I couldn't justify waiting another 45 minutes for one Of the specialty concoctions. They don't care about how long people are waiting. It's a joke. People just kept leaving. The owner should know that they are losing business. This will be the last time I come here.
