I walked up and asked one of the employees, who was standing there and not helping another customer, what the ice cream sizes were. She gave me an annoyed look and responded, "What?!" Before she answered, another employee yelled from across the truck, "I have it right here. Wait your turn," while he was ringing up someone else. I apologized and said I thought I could ask her since she wasn't helping anyone. She then muttered, "You don't have to be fucking rude." When she realized I heard her, she immediately ducked back into the truck. The entire interaction was incredibly unprofessional. Then I was charged $10 for an item clearly posted as $7. I was told the extra $3 was "tax," which simply isn't possible. We even have video showing the posted price and confirming what other customers paid. I chose not to argue because I was there with my toddler and didn't want to ruin our family outing. Everyone can have an off day, but there is no excuse for swearing at customers, treating people with disrespect, or charging more than the posted price. What should have been a fun stop for ice cream ended up being one of the worst customer service experiences I've had.

How can a summer be complete without indulging in a sinfully, decadent, velvety, creamy- ice cream... and this ice cream shop did not disappoint on ALL those levels. The owner, Joe, is a diabolical ice cream genius with the concoctions he has come up with. I have never in my life seen an ice cream menu to this extent ever before. When I heard about this spot I had to come and check it out for myself, AND I was blown away... hard ice cream, soft serve, coffee, floats, sundaes, milkshakes- your imagination can run wild here, and this place will still amaze you. Go big AND Go home... I had to "GO BIG" and get a 3 scoop waffle cone (Nutella, Funky Monkey and Cannoli). These were the flavors my tastebuds craved! The best part was the ingredients that went into each ice cream flavor. You can actually see the ingredients packed into each scoop... every bite bursted in robust flavor. If you're a girl scout cookie fan - this one is for you!!! Was super excited to see there was an option to blend vanilla soft serve with any italian ice flavor. I blended blue raspberry with vanilla soft serve - YUM! The ice cream is super creamy and flavorful. can't wait to come back to try more!

So, when I was volun-told to go to Willowbrook Mall, I had to stop at Dairy Queen. Doing so was the only aspect I enjoyed about going to that jam-packed mall, but it was worth it. I went with the banana split blizzard, but it's always a toss up between that and the Oreo. DQ also has a new 'mini' option for blizzard. It's probably 1/3 the size of the 'small,' but for only 80 cents less, why not just get the small?
