Just we you have to "Get rid of some coffee" and need some gas and eats, the Stinker shows up! Clean and friendly staff and fuel, for I-80, that is reasonable. I wouldn't really consider this to be a 'Travel Plaza' LOL....but on Interstate 80, the gas stations are far and few between. The fuel was a little high here at $4.15 per gallon. The restrooms were pretty clean. The convenience store had some snack items. Staff wasn't very friendly. Beggars can't be choosers though- not many alternatives. LOL read more

I am not really sure teh difference between a gas station and travel plaza unless its all just semantics of a name? Gas was pricey. But its pricey everywhere now. $4.65 a gallon for the cheap stuff. Normally i get midgrade back home....... I suppose you can charge what you want though when gas stations are far and few between. Got some snacks and water. Bathrooms were clean. Service was great! Loved our waitress & her bubbly personality. Looks wise, I would've never picked to eat here but my cousin insisted and I'm glad she did! I would love to revamp their menu just a little bit. Otherwise the food is ok. I mean at the moment there's never any telling if the restaurant will be open when you get there. So don't get your hopes up. In the meantime see if their famous Prime Rib Sandwiches are available. Lots of nice gift shop items and some snacks and candies you'd have a hard time finding elsewhere. I recommend the Chocolate Covered Cinnamon Gummy Bears and the Bags of popcorn by the drink coolers. read more

I've been wanting to try the restaurant here for some time...they boast of their "good home cooking". I ordered a ribeye dinner. Pretty sure what they cooked was an old piece of leather. It was the toughest and most tasteless piece of "meat" I have ever had. I asked for lots of butter for my baked potato...2 tiny squares of butter is all I was allowed. No refill on my tea and the salad was practically frozen. Lesson learned...I wouldn't recommend this place and definitely won't bother stopping there again. read more

The resturant has a lot to be desired. Cashier was angry and very unhelpful. The cashier wouldn't help us till she got done doing what she was doing, cooking hash browns and making burritos. 15 minutes just to get grumpy person to take our order. Cook came to work about five minutes after we ordered and it took her another ten minutes to get into the kitchen. I've seen snails that are happier and can move much faster. Piece of work and so unsanitary. One lady we encountered had rubber gloves on but kept touching her face and rubbing her nose. read more

I ordered my breakfast, and 45 minutes later I got a plate given to me that was not even close to what I had ordered. They did a remodel but I feel the restaurant's attention to detail and quality of food was better before they changed it up. The simple diner feel prior was much preferred. Wow, what a turn around. It's been 7 years since I've visited this truck stop and am impressed with the remodel and cleanliness of the c-store and restrooms. Staff have improved immensely and friendly now. I will be stopping here for my ten more often when I come across 80 more. Restaurant is clean with a decent menu. The fuel islands both diesel & gas sit up on concrete. The rest of the parking lot is dirt. They could definitely put down some dirt or gravel to fill in some of the pot holes. Some are pretty large. You need to pull through slowly, or chance losing some parts off your vehicle. There is quite a bit of large truck parking though. The store itself appears clean, lots of tourist & traveler items. Looks like they have many USA made items, instead of just your array of imports. They have breakfast to go items & a small restaurant. read more

I was at this place again last week. The problem is the toaster needs to be turned down a bit. The bread is in there too long so except for the center of the toast it get too hard and crunchy. So glad to see this gas station as there is one about every 50 miles on this stretch of highway. Kind of a neat gas station, due to it having the Sinclair Refinery right outside and also the town being called Sinclair, Wyoming. You could tell the town was mostly made up of Sinclair employees. I found this cool as my Dad is the VP of a company that uses Sinclair at their chain of gas stations in Oklahoma. I was disappointed that they claim to be a truck stop, but only had 2 urinals and 2 toilet stalls. I was greeted by a long line for the bathroom, but they were nice and clean. Not cool on the size! I would say I recommend this station to others, but you really don't have a choice. Lol. There is a nice neighboring city up the road, we later found out. read more

We stopped here for lunch at this truck stop and man it smelled so good when we walked in so I was confident that the food was going to be awesome but sadly it was opposite of what I expected. My husband and I ordered burgers. I got mine with a slice of pepper jack cheese. Took them a little bit but we finally got our meal and stuff he buns was hard the meat was cheap you could taste it. The burgers wasn't hot at all neither were the fries. It was very upsetting because it was 20 bucks for the entire meal and it wasn't worth that at all. read more

I don't recommend stopping here. Ordered a medium rare steak, got it medium well and cold after 45 minutes of waiting. The only thing that was hot on my plate was my potato. Told Darlene (server) and asked if another one could be made. She told me it would take 15 minutes. I asked if it could be rushed, she laughed. Then she offered to put my already over-cooked steak back on the grill. Stopped by to take pictures with Sinclair (the dinosaur) and grab breakfast. Our waitress was super polite and attentive. She even suggested splitting a full order of biscuits versus the half order since it was cheaper, and my friend and I ordered the same thing. Thanks for the tip! By the way, those biscuits and gravy were SO delicious. That cook knew how to make a damned fine sausage cream gravy. I would actually return on another road trip. read more

Huge disappointment. We stopped here on Wednesday 8-22-2018. I saw the signage coming from the west on I-80 and expected a large, well run truck stop. I expected a lot of pumps for autos but there were more for the big rigs than what they had for gasoline powered cars. Just six pumps on the north side anyway. The first pump I pulled up to, the credit card reader was broken and would have had to go inside and prepay. So I pulled to another pump and when I got to the part of the process to select fuel type it preselected premium for me. NOT WHAT I WANTED! So got an attendant to come outside and clear the pump and start over. She said a new computer software update/program was to blame. And the windshield wash buckets on the 2 islands I checked were bone dry. So dusty I wonder if they had anything in them for days. So once I filled up I went inside to look around. I kind of wanted some little thing as this is the hub of some sort for the Sinclair Co. and a huge refinery is clearly seen from this truck stop. My Dad ran a Sinclair in the 60's in a small NE town. They had small stuffed dinosaur but of all 6 or 7 I checked none were marked. Pass. Oh and I forgot to mention that their gasoline was priced 5 cents higher than the station at exit 215 that I passed by just 6 miles earlier. My advice is if you are going west bypass this place and stop at the place at exit 215 or off of the road a few hundred yards at exit 211. Consequently if traveling east stop before you get here. Bottom line, for being in the shadow of the big Sinclair refinery, in the town of Sinclair I expected a much better run and polished establishment than what I experienced read more

Service was fine...went in to take a shower. Showers are very clean and nice, however, towels need to be thrown in the garbage or reused as oil rags. The wash cloth was a cutoff piece from an old towel which I think we were given to use as our regular towel...Please go to Walmart and replace these rags...thank you. read more

The service I had was quick. The server came back a couple of times before I finally made up my mind. I had a Philly Steak sandwich that was more than acceptable. I liked the French fries. I've had french fries where it feels like the inside is almost hollow. Their french fries had a new nice substantial inside that was easy to chew. Pricing was average for my item. But looking at the prices for many other items their prices seem a bit high. Maybe I would need to try out one of their dinners to see if the quality justifies the price.
