Not a bad breakfast sandwich place. I ordered from 2 different named restaurants on uber eats and got near identical sandwiches. Same packaging, same brioche bun etc. since I ordered just days apart from each other, everything was fresh in my mind and I got curious. So I put my True Detective shoes on and did some research. What I discovered was this Latin cafe runs at least 4 other business out of this one location. Nothing wrong I guess with this, just a business strategy I'm assuming. It is funny that all the other Ghost Kitchens they are running have very Americanized names as you can see in the images I posted. This should have been a clue since this is Hialeah.... Anyways, why am I posting this? Well for one I will review the same egg, cheese and bacon sandwich I got from both La Breakfast Club and Breakfast Beauties. 4 stars. Lots of eggs and bacon. The sandwich was stacked. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the brioche bun. It was slightly dry. The other reason I posted the pictures is because if you have tried one of the places and you're trying to buy something different, you probably shouldn't order from the other companies listed since it will be the exact or nearly identical dish. The funny thing is I tried to order from Burrito Affirmation, but they canceled my order for some unknown reason. I found La Breakfast club and ended up ordering from the same overall place. Food was not prepared correctly. The moros were good, but the Vaca Frita was not done correctly. The meat is supposed to be shredded and fried crispy. The Chef left the meat unshreded in lumps and not fried crispy. Was sent back. Did not shred not cooked crispy. FABULOUS FOOD & SERVICE! We stumbled across this little gem as we searched for a quick shot of Cuban coffee on a Saturday and WOW OH WOW! An incredible buzz of take out orders and a proper social distance crowd inside made us stay and see what all the fuzz was about. So glad we did because the food was truly DELICIOUS! I'll start by saying when you see a lot of police officers at a restaurant it's one or two things. Their food is comped or discounted, and personally I don't see anything wrong with it, because I know there won't be any shenanigans from hooligans ( the clean version) while I enjoy my meal. But based on the menu and price points I'll will give them another try in the near future. The only reason I really come here is to eat the buttery Cuban bread that they serve before the meal. The food is usually OK. But today was horrible. I got a waiter within five minutes of sitting down. Two minutes after I ordered I got my food. The food was not hot at all. It's as if they gave me chicken that was already sitting around(leftovers). HORRIBLE service. Waited at my table for easily 7 minutes and no one acknowledged me, oh and they ALL saw me when I walked in. Even the gentleman in the back making sandwiches made eye contact with me. Let it be known, that the restaurant was NOT BUSY, only 10% occupied judging by the amount of tables and counter seats. Okay so I have gone here for lunch a few times and it's not a bad spot. I have had the ground beef, skirt steak, grilled chicken and the ropa vieja. Must say the ropa vieja is my favorite. The ground beef is my second favorite. I didn't give it 5 stars because the skirt steak was not all that good it was missing flavor and same thing with the chicken. It needs a little more of mojo or flavor to it. I didn't enjoy those two items. It is a cheap spot and good to grab a quick lunch. The customer service is good. I have never had a problem with customer service there. They are so nice. Oh and of course my favorite thing is their little buttered breads. Que rico they are crispy and soooo buttery. Keep that up. I love the breads. Maybe next time the chicken or steak will be better and I can give a 5 star. read more

Todo super bien hasta que vi el pescado... yo como pescado muy frecuente y nunca me habia comido un pescado tan malo, estaba seco, la piel no se podia desprender de la carne y encima no tenia sabor ninguno. Despues de intentar comerlo decidi llamar para dejarles saber que el pescado estaba horrible, la mesera que me atendio ( ruth ) muy buena gente me pidio que porfavor lleve el pescado de vuelta, lo cual hice... en cuanto llegue devolvi el pescado y no paso ni dos minutos y salio alguien de la cocina a decirme que ese pescado no tenia ningun problema, que por que lo estaba devolviendo, le dege saber que el pescado esta muy seco y que no tenia ningun sabor y que no me gusto que tan solo queria cambiarlo por otra cosa, el señor parece ser que no supo como reaccionar y le digo a la mesera que me devolviera el dinero con una mala actitud. Yo habia pagado con tarjeta y la verdad que solo queria cambiarlo por otra cosa pero el señor le dijo a la chica que me devolviera el dinero en cash sin preguntarme si queria mi dinero cash o si queria que me lo reembolsaran. One of the best places to eat around the Jackson and University of Miami. Food is always ready so fast. Ordered through Uber Eats many times from here and have yet to be disappointed.
