My recovery from the reduction was smooth. I don't know how he did it without me telling him, I am exactly what size I wanted my breasts to be. The caring bedside manner and his staff are amazing at what they do. The insurance paperwork, the instructions, and so diligent of the process were helpful. My only regret is that I didn't have this done sooner. Whatever procedures I have in the future will be with Dr. Pinksy. I have my life back with confidence and couldn't be any happier!!!

Dr. Deane is soft spoken and kind and immediately upon meeting him I felt good about having surgery. He showed me what he could do and the likely outcome if I had lower blepharoplasty (as I developed these bags under my eyes after having facial fillers). Dr. Deane provided me with information and did not push me at all to make a decision. He is very knowledgeable and I was very comfortable with no reservations going into surgery. Dr. Deane and his staff were so kind and conscientious; from the office staff to the nurses and billing staff I felt well taken care of. Although I'm still healing I can already see the improvement. So happy! Thank you Dr. Deane!

    I have been going to Royal Beauty Supply in West Islip for many years with my sister who is a…read morelicensed esthetician. I have an immune disorder and have a lot of allergies to different products but there are several products that Deva makes that I have been able to use and have purchased them there for probably 15 years. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store over the past years. This last month, my sister went to pick up my regular products as usual, but the store was out of the ones that I use and they had to order them for her/me. When my sister came back to the store to pick up my order, she noticed that the product had different packaging. When my sister asked about this, she was reassured that the product was the same and that it was just the packaging that had changed. She didn't think anything of it and so she picked up $259.57 worth of product and brought them back for me. I trusted that it was the same product - the One Conditioner and the Deva Styling cream, so I used them as I always have. A few hours after using the new products, I felt very ill and at first, I couldn't figure out why. Then I thought to look at the ingredients on the new packaging and compare it to the old bottle which I still had. Omg! The ingredients were totally different. The old One Conditioner had all kinds of herbs in it and very little chemicals. The same with the styling cream. The new One Conditioner and styling cream have tons of chemicals in them an no natural herbs. I was so upset. I brought them to my allergist the next day who checks everything with me and sure enough, I was having a strong negative reaction to both of these two products. I was upset, because I had been using the original products for all these years and did very well with them and wondered why Deva changed them. But, I thought I could just return what I bought and get a refund. I called the store and explained my situation, but the store refused to give me a refund and said that they could only issue me a store credit. I asked if they could make an exception because of my special circumstances and having been a loyal customer for all of these years. But, even though I have been a loyal customer and I have an immune disorder, they refused to give me money back. They said that they will only issue me a store credit. Well, there is nothing else in that store that I can use. It was hard enough for me to find the original Deva products that I could tolerate which have now been discontinued, (although I have been able to find them elsewhere online after searching today). The point is, they wouldn't grant me the courtesy as a loyal customer for all these years even though it is because of a health concern and something that I was mislead to believe. I will be returning all of my products for a store credit that I cannot use. I am beyond upset. I have to say that the women in the store have always been nice in the past, but this lack of caring about my specific medical condition is just unacceptable to me from a human being standpoint. Is money more important to this business than responding to someone who has patronized this store for so many years? It saddens me.

    When your answer to the question, "when was the last time you went to the dentist?" is "an…read moreeternity," there's a good chance you're due for a cleaning and some x-rays. That was my pitiful situation prior to visiting this dentist. On an uncommonly lucky day, I found a Groupon for this place and I jumped on it immediately. The hygienist that took care of me, Nancy, was very nice. She was patient enough to explain all the things that were wrong with me in great detail, and was generous enough to refer to the horrid blocks of mass in my mouth as "wisdom teeth." She even managed to convince me not to lose any more sleep over my skeptical views of flossing (I do floss, but my imagination goes off in strange places sometimes). She was very easy to talk to, except when I had tubes and sharp metal objects hanging out of my mouth, and she made my visit extremely pleasant. The office was very quiet and well-kept, and the dental chair was surprisingly soft and comfortable. The Food Network was playing silently on TV during my cleaning, and it provided visual reminders of all the foods that got caught in my teeth over the years. Before I left, Nancy gave me a printout of all the things I should do differently, complete with illustrations of magical fairies and jovial teeth. Overall, my first visit here was completely positive. I was never scolded for not coming in sooner, nor was I chastised condescendingly for the way I brush and floss my teeth. They seem to practice positive reinforcement at this place, which is something I'm not used to when I go to the dentist. Perhaps for the first time in my life, I'm actually looking forward to my next visit in six months.

Zeroooo Updated based on the poor response: Implying I went to the wrong office just shows the lack of accountability by the team here. I'm old enough to read the sign on the building/door... I don't need anyone to call me now I'll go elsewhere. There's always some weird excuse in the reviews here where the customer always seems to be making something up because there's no way the office could own up to a mistake. A helpful tip for future business responses would be something along the lines of ...(We apologize for the inconvenience and value your time. I am not sure what went wrong but if it helps we will fit you in at your availability). Imagine getting a response like that? I guess I went to a phantom office where all the employees are invisible. Silly me.
