His communication was clear and direct as to Do's and Don'ts of after care.. I followed to the T... no pain during surgery, but once numbing agent wore off, the pain was intense.. I did not want to take oxy, but I simply had no choice. I took Oxy the first night and the next morning, after that, I did not rely on any pain meds.. I had surgery on a Thurs. and was walking at the park for a mile on Friday.. Sat. no pain meds and drove out to a horse rescue farm out East (I live in Westbury)... A 3 ON THE PAIN METER... I'm four days from surgery and I'm back to work with my clients... no bending, or lifting anything with weight.. scaled back my work schedule to accommodate healing, but I FEEL SUPER FANTASTIC!!!! highly recommend this procedure under local.. Dr. Warm and I met three times prior to the surgery as to make sure we were on the same page. I find him to have superior listening skills and excellent memory which IMHO is super important. I am four days in from this surgery and seem to be healing nicely.. He and I went back and forth re: to do lipo in conjunction with the lift or not to do it... I left it up to him and he felt I could get away without doing lipo, but as I'm healing, I think I should have done a bit of lipo under the chin.. I will speak with him about this at the end of this week when we meet up again for a follow up.. I have no complaints thus far... Staff is fabulous and friendly; Nancy, Dawn and David are the bees knees and the vibe in the office is ultra "chill." My scar on my tummy tuck is not appealing, one side looking better then the other, he revised it for no charge but the problem is not fixed. The lipo that was done on my abdomen is not semetrical, obviously not semetrical. I also had lipo on my back that aswell is not semetrical I had that revised aswell, and it is still not semetrical... he did do those for no out of pocket charge, but still I paid over $25,000 for this surgery and I am not okay with the results, I can not have any other no charge fixes, it is just annoying because I didnt botch it they did so it should be fixed. I waited along time to write this review, I wanted to give him a chance to fix the mistakes, but obviously it was not fixed.

Edit: I appreciate your acknowledgment, but I don't understand how someone who is not a doctor or anyone who has never seen me can decide over a phone call if they can help me or not. I understand the skepticism but why not even ask to see a picture if you think the consult would be a waste of your time? Is it about money or helping people? I had a reduction/lift, for my comfort, not for vanity. Never anything else. So a secretary taking notes and then passing that along is enough for you to make that decision. Got it. Dr. Romanelli's office scheduled the two surgeries to be done at the same time it was great. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Three years later she broke her nose again. Dr B took his time evaluating my situation and really put a lot of thought into the best way to get me the results I was looking for. The nurses and doctors who were in the operating room were very focused but had such great personalities and I could tell they all wanted me to be happy with my results. They only used local anesthesia but the surgery was painless and the swelling and bruising after was minimal. After one week, my stiches were removed and the before and after photos were stunning! 2 weeks later I'm not even "fully healed" yet but you can't even really tell I had anything done unless you look really closely. I just thought to myself...It's only gonna get better? Anyway..bottom line is this is the place you want to come to for your glow up. I was told the office was out of Botox so they injected me with another " similar" product. I waited about a week, not seeing much improvement, I contacted their office: "You have to give it a couple of weeks" I was told. Then on, or about, the 3rd week I contacted the office again. I was given an appointment (follow-up) a few days later. When I presented myself, still during the 3rd week of my first visit. I was told that a different provider was scheduled so I had to pay for the treatment ( tweaking). And also, the front desk said, "I had waited too long " !! Bottom line, I didn't ask for a different provider, they scheduled it. And I didn't wait too long to contact them ( all happened within 30 days). And I had called their office at least 2 times regarding the lack of result. Yeah, I'm disappointed.

Who do you trust? Can you? Who do you call in? A GREAT doctor makes decisions in a critical timeframe, handles ALL the patients well (in this case ME as my wife was having the emergency. After nearly cutting off her finger and as it turns out nicking her tendon, I got a chance to observe Dr. Diehl "operate" and repair and heal. He is reassuring, confident and the most striking difference to me is the way ALL the various staff, functions (nurses, orderly, even registration), and other doctor's in the area seem to regard his medical acumen. They know that he knows what he is doing and what the results are. NOW my family does too. That's why I am writing this review to thank him in some little way for taking care of me, my wife, and family over a number of "incidents", in emergencies, and with our trust.
