The office staff; Dr. Omeir Ansari, Assistants, Diana & Valentina, Hygenist, Yosman and Receptionist, Kassandra were professional, courteous, and personable. They took time to listen to my concerns and explain what was needed to improve my dental health. The diagnosis communicated to me after dental scans were completed were explained with patience and clarity. It's was a wonderful experience. I've had to have work redone because it was so poor. For example, I got two crowns done in 2017- I had to get them replaced in 2021 (way before the average lifespan of a crown ends, and I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary to speed up that timeline) and was even told by my trusted dentist that they were most likely unnecessary in the first place. My friend who also was a patient here also had similar issues- a recent trip to her current dentist to get work from Dental Care of Davenport fixed led to a conversation about our overall poor experiences here... which led to this review after all these years. I can't imagine being in this situation without insurance. I presented with severe pain and active infection. I was told treatment could not be scheduled for over a week and that a $200 deposit was required just to get on the schedule. Instead of care, I was essentially advised to Google other dentists. The dentist I saw prescribed additional antibiotics and pain medication, despite my clear explanation that these were already ineffective due to the level of pain. She also refused to perform a nerve block, stating it would "only last an hour" because of the infection. Later that same night, the ER performed a nerve block that provided hours of relief, directly contradicting that claim. Most concerning: the problem was ultimately resolved the same day by another dentist using local anesthetic to extract the tooth. No oral surgeon. No week-long delay. Just competent care. This experience highlights a serious issue in modern dentistry: some offices market "emergency care" but operate with payment barriers and limited clinical response when urgent treatment is actually needed. I would not recommend relying on this practice for true dental emergencies.

I was told I would have a new dentist and that was it. I thought it may have had something to do with my insurance. I asked if I can exclude the 2 X-rays that the insurance did not cover on my next visit. I was told I could not; there was no reason that made any sense! I subsequently found checking out was unpleasant as I was looked at side ways because I asked questions about the uncovered X-rays. I felt unwanted in a number of ways and their actions showed it. Of course I paid for those X-rays upon departing. You don't get to tell me I have to pay for a service that is not covered by my insurance not to mention the price for 2 X-rays have increased. In addition, I must say this office (other than the dental cleaning tech) has changed and customer service is awful. I smiled and was polite despite my dissatisfaction. Then she went to a different dentist only to find out that the original filling never set up the way it was supposed to and a simple replacement filling fixed the problem When someone asks to see a particular dentist, they should be allowed to see that dentist or should be given the reason why they cant and then be told ahead of time who their new dentist will be, and given the opportunity to decline before they drive 20 miles out of their way and have arrived at an appointment only to find the dentist they were expecting isn't who they are getting Poor judgement call Dr Russo, if this is how you run your office, and poor customer service, champion dental!
