PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW and STAY AWAY FROM THIS "BUSINESS". I brought my cousin to fix the broken back glass of his iPhone 12 Pro Max and the first thing they did was check the camera to make sure it was working properly (which it was because he took pictures the night before) they also checked other features and agreed to have the phone ready in a couple of hours. We wait, pick up the phone and go straight home. Now, my cousin is OBSESSED with his phone because of the camera and takes photos of random things. When he got home he noticed there were dark blotches all over the screen when he tried to take a picture. He then looks at the lenses and noticed the inside of the lens looks "dirty" and will not focus on any object because of the debris in the lens. We return the next day because we were given a 30 DAY WARRANTY and to sum it all up they said it wasn't their fault and that we must've done something to it. We did NOTHING to it and we discovered the defects upon arriving home. It's a 10 minute drive!!!! The manager tells me the warranty won't cover but he can fix it for $120. I declined. What's the warranty for then??? He then said the employee who worked on the phone was not working that day and that he would give me a call the next day after he talks to him. The next day came and I got no call so I went back. This time the manager was not there but the employee was. Of course. The employee proceeds to tell me he didn't mess with the camera and that we must have dropped the phone, again. NO. We do not. He then says "well how do we know you didn't bring the phone in with the camera already broken?" And I said "Because you guys checked the camera to make sure it worked perfectly fine which YOU GUYS CONFIRMED that it did work!" Again, he proceeded to blame us for the problem. All they can tell me is that they don't touch the lenses. Whatever "work" you guys did to this phone caused this problem to happen. First smartphone ever - January 2014 First smartphone cracked screen ever - Late Spring/Early Summer 2014 After getting jumped by 5 guys in a bar, my Galaxy SIII had a cracked screen. Okay, so maybe I wasn't jumped by 5 guys in a bar. And, maybe my screen was cracked because I dropped my phone while getting out of my truck in the driveway. But, it makes for a provocative story, doesn't it? ;p Anyhoo, although my phone's screen was cracked, it still worked perfectly fine. Thusly, I proudly used my phone for the rest of 2014 & a few months into this year. That is until I happened to drop it again shopping at my local Target. This is where my phone reached the point of no return & something had to be done. Not the type that cares about obtaining the latest tech, I wasn't looking into upgrading my phone, especially since my upgrade discount doesn't take effect till January 2016. My only option? Repair shop, baby! I inquired with a few places & remembered stopping by i-CELL during After Christmas shopping at the Lakewood Mall. They quoted me with the best price back then, so when I absolutely needed repair work done, i-CELL is where I took my business. The repair guy told me how much the repair would cost with an estimated time of 30 minutes. Coming back in 20 minutes, I found my phone to be almost ready. When I was handed the finished product, my phone looked brand spanking new. With a dark blue faceplate, instead of the OG white faceplate I had previously because that's the only color i-CELL had, the screen looked crisp, bright & clear. Speaking of screens, every Samsung phone gets a free screen protector with repairs. I left happy with the service received & I now take better care of my phone & it's shiny new screen. 30 day warranty, too! Terrible and defective product parts used for your phones on top of unprofessional customer service. I went in to have my iPhone 6s screen repaired. Upon completion, they handed the phone back to me and failed to mention that the replacement part had a faulty home button. They sold it to me as is (utter negligence). Of course, I'm pissed and ask their incompetent staff why my home button wasn't working. He responded: "Whatchu talkin' bout?" I press the issue and they eventually agree to replacing the replacement. Here we are, with my second replacement screen within a 24 hour period, and my iPhone is completely unresponsive to touch. But hey, can't expect much from minimum wage and uneducated workers. Save your time and just file a dispute with this company through your bank. They used bad screens for you iPhones They changed my screen, the first few days started freezing and to unfreeze it I had to wait for the lock screen and unlock the screen, went back to the store they checked the phone he says it's fine then they agree to change the screen again which I doubt they did, and told me if this happens again so the problem is with your phone. So I had to live with this screen freeze for sometime then the phone starts opening and closing apps, if watching YouTube it'll start moving backwards and forward. To get out of this I had to lock the screen and unlock it to stop this craziness. Few weeks after I couldn't access the edges of the phone It won't responds to anything if it's in the corners I mean anything, also I couldn't access the letters on the edge of the keyboard. It's a nightmare, a friend took me to a store in Torrance, I'm using my phone normally now and he told don't never fix a phone in a mall, he said the screen was damaged and cheap. I would give them only negative stars but yelp doesn't allow that. First off the employees are sketchy and the establishment is ran by a even sketchier owner. I went to get my iPhone 4 screen fixed and they told me 100 for the repair and I said ok that's fine. They then told me it would take 1 hour so I left my phone there and went walking around the mall. I came back 1 hour later and they have told me that they have barely started to work on my phone and it will still be another 45 mins. I then took it back to I-cell and told them about the problem, they said sorry it's not our problem, NOT YOUR PROBLEM? Galaxy S4, broken glass & LCD frame. Replacing all, including the frame was quoted on the phone $210, and 4-5 days wait to get that LCD... The 2 guys at the store were super polite and courteous, explaining the supplier they buy from has full warranty and therefore the wait... While every hour I lost another piece of my glass, I suggested to maybe get it off eBay. The 2 guys agreed to charge me for installation only! Bought it on eBay on Sat (AFTER one of those guys gracefully agreed to approve of the LCD I ordered) and got it Mon morning. Went to the store, where they gladly(!) honored the quote for instillation only. Saved time, money(!!!) and my phone looks brand new! James & William, kudos to both of you. Right when my boyfriend and I got our iPhone 6 phones, we wanted to make sure to get the best screen protector there is. At first, we checked out other phone stores that offer screen protector services: we noticed that most uses Windex for the screen like ugh no. So our last option was to go to Lakewood Mall and check out iCell. The other guy that was working there was dumb. We asked for 4.7 screen protectors and he gave us 5.5, so we just waited for the main guy to help us. That guy was helpful and the way he put the screen protector is very clean. They use a certain screen spray rather than using Windex. For the ultra thin glass screen protector, it was $25 and it's well worth protecting your new phone! read more

Do not get your ipad/iphone fixed here! They use extremely cheap components. My sons ipad cracked, took it here to get the glass and digitizer replaced. After about two months my son was playing with his ipad, one of those games where you have to tap the screen fast and was able to crack the digitizer with his finger!! The glass itself is uncracked it's just the digitizer that is cracked. Called to see what kind of warranty they issued and was told only a 30 day warranty. I can see why. read more

The guy at Apple told me I would have to wait two hours to get my shattered iPhone6 screen changed, and that it would be $110 for the screen, but the tiny burr that occurred on the chassis when it hit the ground would probably mean they would have to replace the phone for $300! Disgusted at the idea of spending $300 and two hours of my time for something that takes a few minutes to fix and a burr that I could fix with a small file, I moved on. They quickly took my phone charged me $75 for the screen and mentioned I needed a new battery. So I ended up getting both and th y extended a 30 day warranty. I was told to come back in 30min. At first, I was impressed with the little time it took for the repair. I waited nearby and came back and picked up my phone. At first glance it looked great. I should have fully checked it but I thought they were professionals and would do a good job; after all that is what they specialize in. The day after I started to notice my camera didn't work, then my flashlight, then my earpiece when making calls. And finally my screen started to have a mind of its own. I didn't worry because I still had warranty. So I yelped the place to phone in that I was coming and I started reading the reviews about the loose screws and the non accountability they had and blaming the manufacturer. Nonetheless I went in and sure enough all the complaints I read about how they respond was exactly how it went. I didn't take no for an answer and mentioned all the bad reviews. Finally l, but very hesitantly they complied and fixed it properly. But I had a big headache after just from stressing over it. So I come in the shop with 120$ in my pocket and ask if I can get my iPhone 6 screen repaired, and the youngest of the guys said yeah we repair phones. Wow, these guys are a joke. I brought in a working iphone 5 with a cracked screen. They promised to fix within 30 min. I returned and they did what they promised and charged me $100 for a broken screen replacement. I took the phone home and the next day the new screen went really dim. It was a cheap replacement screen, not a oem apple screen; probably a Chinese knockoff. Anyway went back and was told that the screen was fine but the phone was the cause...sigh. They wouldn't replace bad replacement screen. So, I left feeling robbed; went to Apple Store and they replaced the screen with a factory screen. Wish I could give negative stars and a warning to STAY AWAY! Husband took his phone into their Victorville Mall location to have his cracked iPhone 4S screen repaired. Tech didn't know what he was doing. He ended up frying the motherboard on the phone. We have gone around and around for two weeks now with this company trying to get a replacement phone. Every employee that we have dealt with is rude, condescending and lacks knowledge. They have lied continually regarding when a replacement phone would be available. We have made a total of 9 trips to this location in hopes of obtaining our phone and upon arrival each and every time, we've been met with excuse and blatant lie after lie. Last evening we were told that it's now our fault that the phone is not working properly and that we broke it and it's our responsibility to take care of. We've been in touch with supposed "managers" and all have refused to help, telling us to make a warranty claim through our cellular carrier. We are now in the process of filing a small claims case against this business. PLEASE STAY AWAY from having your devices repaired here! Beware of this place guys took two iPods to have the screens replaced, keep in mind they worked fine prior to taking to this place they had some issues with the home button but nothin major, back to the point I took them to this location they gave me a good estimate for both so I decided to leave them for repair and paid upfront when I picked them up they both seemed to work fine so I was satisfied but the day right after that one of them was no longer working the screen was blank and it didn't work period so I assumed it was the internal led screen, and so I took it back to this location and they confirmed my suspicion it was the led so I started questioning them as to how that had happened if the led was just fine when I took it in for repair and they said they didn't know what had happened long story short they claimed no responsibility whatsoever in the matter. DO NOT GO HERE - Should have read the reviews ahead of time. I broke the screen on my phone in June, worked fine for months but I finally got sick of looking at the cracks. I brought it to i-Cell and had the screen fixed. It was $78 and they said it would be half an hour. Showed up 45 minutes later and they weren't done yet. When then finished there was a lighting issue with the screen. The guy said that it might need some time to adjust because it was brand new. Seemed like BS but I gave it the night and it didn't get better. I brought it back the next day to have it corrected. The store opened at 11 AM so I dropped the phone off but they said "the tech" didn't arrive until 12. I went back at 1:15 and the 30 minute repair still wasn't done. When I got the phone back it looked fine so I left. When I got home I realized the battery wasn't showing the accurate amount and the phone was restarting anytime I tried to watch a video on it. I called back in and was told I could bring the phone to be looked at but was refused a refund under any circumstances. He told me that if the screen was the issue he would take care of if but if there was anything else causing the phone to malfunction, he could give me a price on it. Considering I've been twice and the phone has come back in worse condition than when I brought it both times, I am going to try to tough it out for now. I'm concerned that if I bring it in again something will "break" that I will have to pay for. Already I have spent $78 bucks to go from a perfectly functioning phone with a broken screen to a broken phone with a good screen. Like they said before, bad product and bad customer service.
