Great looking coffee shop. Smelled like freshly baked carrot muffins when I went in. Only minor critique would be that the seating inside could be a bit more comfortable. Apart from that, 5/5!

There are about 3 stores and i went to the one on souraren street.. seems like the place is very old but then very well organized at the same time. Love the display they had of the house made baked goods.. not just the looks but also the taste was amazing! Also not to forget their coffee is delicious. I would love to go back again, when i am in the area. The staff was nice and courteous and did the orders in a timely fashion. Also they have patio which is very good. Happy to see this place being away from the busy city traffic

If you're cruising down Sorauren Avenue and are in dire need of a coffee fix (because who isn't these days?), pop into I Deal Coffee. This no-frills neighborhood shop is a staple for a java break any day of the week. I Deal Coffee prides itself on sustainable business practices from sourcing its beans to baked goods. Try the "cowgirl cookie" -- a deliciously addictive cookie with a little bit of everything. Even the milk, honey and maple syrup are supplied by local small businesses. With two other locations - one in Kensington Market and one on Ossington Avenue - it's become a Toronto coffee institution. In addition to top quality Americanos, lattes and freshly roasted beans, I Deal Coffee has an impressive selection of organic, wild fermented, sustainable, vegan, skin-contact and biodynamic wines available for delivery during COVID-19.

I didn't realize there was more than one location. This location is hiding in the residential area on Sauren. I came here after dark and it had the nice glowing light thing going on which makes for a really nice atmosphere. Most of the people were here working. The coffee/pastry combination is pretty good. Had a hot chocolate and muffin which were unavailable at the usual location I go to. This location is cozy and fits around 20 people plus some outdoor seating. Location is accessible and no high chairs. WiFi tested at 16/5. I don't see any electrical power outlets but I think at least one person has their laptop charging. I really like the atmosphere here, conducive to working for me. Will be back!

As a non-coffee drinker I feel funny reviewing a coffee place, but I can at least tell you the following: - The music is great and a good volume for conversation or work. - The baked goods are bloody tasty. - The hot chocolate is bloody tasty. - The vibe is casual, stylish, and inclusive.

Very comfy looking interior, nice sun shining in... If the sun is out! The coffee is excellent, I even buy the Bags to go. Very friendly service.

Coffee decent but gorilla style customer service order pound didnt give us the free coffee because we ordered our coffee first before ordering our coffee, pretty nasty lady realistically this place is a 4/5 but due to customer service they deserve a zero

Love the location on Sorauren... coffee shops on residential streets make me feel like I'm in Brooklyn NY. Awesome coffee. We love taking a pound of beans home because they're delicious. Some cookies, scones and muffins that are pretty decent too. They have sandwiches, but I've never tried them. Just a few tables, but they are big, and they often end up being communal with laptop-users working away independently. Love the coffee, and love that they are NOT cash-only!

3 stars. I went into this place with low expectations considering I have been to another location and wasn't very impressed (you can read my review on the other one in my reviews). As a result of going in with low expectations I was pleasantly surprised with all that this place offers. I don't know why this place seems completely different than the other location, but this one is good. It is not the biggest place in the world, but there is enough seating for people including a nice outdoor patio. Although there is enough seating, there could be even less because it feels a little cramped to be truly honest. One of the greatest pluses of this place is the location. An absolute gem of a spot to put a coffee shop. Right in the middle of a residential neighbourhood just south of Dundas is great to say the least. The coffee, as expected; the taste overall seems to be lacking that punch I am looking for when I have an espresso based beverage, but it is still good nonetheless. The selection of goods is pretty good and they have sandwiches available as well. If I lived in this neighbourhood down the street, I would probably come here, but it is not a place to go out of your way to visit. It really doesn't have that wow factor to bring in people from all over the city. This place was average to just above average. Not the worst, not the best, but great for the local neighbourhood. That's it!

I love this location, it is small but it's bustling with neighbourhood locals! The benches and table outside is great on sunny days and neighbour watching Friendly vibe, nothing pretentious. Enjoyed my afternoon with a butter croissant and a Flat White. Noticed a lot of people purchasing beans as well They have empanadas but didn't notice the till I paid (fridge to the side). Will need to come back for that!

We arrived shortly after they opened, the aesthetic is eclectic and simple. The seating arrangements are comfortable and available indoors and outdoors. We both got their classic breakfast with double smoked bacon; I opted for a beer ginger drink and my friend ordered a chai latte with oat milk. She really enjoyed her drink, and it was a decent size. Whereas my beer and ginger juice was delicious yet on the small side, especially since ice cubes took up a lot of space. As for the meal itself, the eggs with crème fraîche was out of this world! They were the most delicious eggs I've ever eaten. I wish the portion was slightly bigger. The double smoked bacon was perfectly cooked and not greasy. It was thick and not overly salty. They fill up the rest of the plate with 3-4 slices of sourdough and I appreciated that they butters the toast and offered us jam. Overall the plate was fresh and delicious. I' savoured each bite. The service was good, attentive and friendly. Towards the end of our meal, it was getting busy and the noise volume increased, so just a heads up to anyone who doesn't like loud spaces. The music was on point though and I can imagine on a warmer day, the patio would also be a cool vibe to experience. One note I feel is needed to mention is the bathroom. I almost missed the steps descending down to the bathroom because the area is poorly lit. This is a safety issue. Secondly, if you're tall like me, the stalls are very tight and claustrophobic. I barely had any room in the stall and it was very uncomfortable; be careful if you're bringing your purse/phone cause there's no space and I could easily see how things can drop in the toilet. I would highly recommend the business investing into this a little more.

The entrance is two sets of doors so no draft when people come in and out! They have a very extensive cocktail and wine menu. There are also plates du jour (an entree and dessert). I ordered the duck confit over crispy rice and orange sauce. My companions ordered the chicken with maitake mushrooms and the burger. We shared the crème brûlée and basque cheesecake. I really enjoyed my dish! The duck was cooked perfectly. Duck was moist and flavorful. The crispy rice gave it a nice texture and helped make it a more filling dish. The orange sauce is a classic pairing with duck. The basque cheesecake has some delicious cherries! But the cheesecake itself was a little more burnt than I personally prefer. The crème brûlée had a very thick caramelized layer on top. But the creme was smooth and sweet. It'd be a great spot for a date night. But those with sensitive ears should proceed with caution. For three people I think it was about $135 CAD maybe $160 CAD after tax and tip.
