The complimentary chips and salsa was freshly warmed tortilla chips with homemade salsa that was just spicy enough. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Taco Salad with ground beef. It was a perfect portion of well seasoned beef over crisp iceberg, tomatoes, sour cream, shredded cheese, and refried beans served in an addictively crunchy fried flour tortilla bowl. Oh, so delicious! My husband ordered the Fajita Taco Salad with grilled chicken. His salad came with the same toppings and bowl as mine and was just as delicious! Definitely worth a stop when you're hungry for authentic Mexican cuisine!

The chips came out warm and their salsa was good but better after they brought out the spicier one. You order at the counter and seat yourself. The menu has a lot of options. The not so good: the food had absolutely zero flavor. The birrias were super bland and the beef was mushy. The dipping sauce had a cinnamon taste to it but had zero flavor. They were out of carnitas and el pastor so my boyfriend settled for steak and beef tongue tacos. I just realized I had cow tongue thinking it was beef. I was expecting flavor and it was bland too.
