They have a good variety of donuts. I chose the cronut and a old fashioned style. I like the old fashioned best. The cronut was greasy. I did find both donuts a bit too sweet for my taste. I'm so serial, you guys... It's so good... The above mentioned red velvet donut is the stuff of dreams. It was so soft, and light, and the glaze was perfect. It's cheaper if you let them kind of randomly choose the donuts to fill a box ($6.90 for a random dozen), but I say pay a little extra, and get a dozen red velvet donuts. That's what I'll be doing next time. The lady who took my order was nice. She let me swap out a few donuts so that the choices were more to my liking. After buying 2-dozen donuts, she also handed me a small bag of donut holes as I was heading out. I dunno if that's because: (a) I bought two dozen donuts, (b) it's something they do for every customer, or (c) she could tell that I was an especially lovely person, and wanted to be kind to me. First of all the go to is chocolate Bavarian cream and this place does it exceptionally well - absolutely perfect Bavarian cream no weird lemon-y tang that ruins it - true, custard-y perfection. However, the REAL show stopper here is the glazed twist donut. Simplicity really is perfection. The small, family owned franchise is located in a strip mall and has Pepto Bismol pink walls and little mini tables for the the wee ones. This made my girls happy. So sweet. We were up before the birds and while every other place was closed, this wasn't. Totally appreciated it! Definitely a good option for the early riser! While I personally didn't taste the treats, I can comment on the reasonable prices, the light-weight of the donuts, the decent enough variety to satisfy most, and the fact that the kiddos loved the character donuts. So I've gone to this place for several years and enjoyed the service and food, but today is the very last day I'll ever set foot in there! I picked up a couple donuts for my kids, a Kolache and bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich this morning. I went home for lunch to see that my son opted to eat his donut instead of the sandwich! Thank goodness!!! I figured I'd eat it instead, but because I don't eat bacon, I went to remove it from the sandwich to find mold growing all over the egg. Mind you this sandwich was just bought less than 4 hours ago. No telling how long they had this thing sitting out. I'm disgusted, especially knowing my kid could have eaten this! It's right next door to my pedicure place so I'm guilty that I've tried this place several times. It's very small but very clean and ran by super kind employees. Went in here the other day to get donut holes for my bambinos and they have such a broad selection. They had the cutest decorated donuts(minions,ninja turtles,etc..) so many colors! My family and I were in the Oklahoma City area for a few days. As is always the case while out of town or vacation I always look up donuts in the area where we are. On this occasion I was actually headed to get coffee and not donuts when I spotted I Love Donuts. I decided to pull in because I decided I really didn't want to continue on my 17 minute route for coffee only. The shop was clean and staff was friendly. Donuts were as I expected them to be but coffee was not what I had hoped for. It was adequate though. Dixie Cream (no longer in business) and Duck donuts rule. I really wish Duck donuts would grow into the Midwest more. I guess when you have had what you would call the best, nothing else really has a chance at measuring up and much less surpassing the current levels of satisfaction. On another note I would like to see more businesses go to individually wrapped stir sticks or straws. To me with all the world Completely FREAKED out over covid this is a no brainer! Great owner! Super kind! This donut shop is nestled away next to the Dollar Tree and Burlington in the shopping center off May. Easy to miss if you're not paying attention. When you walk in there is an assortment to your right of cold bottled drinks (juice, milk, soda, etc.). Fresh coffee served next to it (I'm not a coffee drinker so I really can't say how good or bad it is) I had a spinach and cream cheese pastry and ordered a apple turnover for later. They were wonderful! Perfect ratio of filling and dough! My wife ordered a kolache and also loved it! She said it wasn't greasy at all! Loved the bits of jalapeno!
